(June 28, 2009) —</strong At a track where Kevin Harvick is no stranger to running up front, the No. 33 Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) Copart team started the Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax from the fifth position, ran the entire race in the top eight and crossed the finish line in the fifth position.

“Our Copart car was really good when we unloaded during both practice sessions,” said Harvick. “But when the green-flag waved, we fought a loose condition from the start. I have to thank all the guys for their hard work and Copart for their support. We just missed it a little, but all-in-all, not a bad day.”

Starting the race fifth, Harvick moved into the third position on lap three and maintained his position until the first caution waved on lap 50. With the car a little tight in the middle of the corners, the team opted to bring Harvick down pit lane for four scuffed tires, an air-pressure adjustment and fuel. Harvick restarted fourth on lap 58.

Slipping to the sixth position by lap 68, Harvick moved back in the top five on lap 94.

The second caution of the day waved on lap 105 and Harvick quickly radioed crew chief Ernie Cope that the car was too loose at the beginning of the run. The call was made to bring Harvick down pit road from the fifth position for four fresh tires, an air-pressure adjustment to the right-side tires and fuel. With teams opting for various strategies of taking only two tires and fuel, Harvick restarted sixth on lap 110.

By lap 132, Harvick returned to the top five, running lap times comparable to the leaders. The final caution flag waved on lap 156. Short on fuel, the team brought Harvick down pit road for four tires, a final air-pressure adjustment and fuel. Again, teams chose varying strategies and Harvick restarted on lap 161 in eighth. Moving into seventh on lap 164, Harvick was able to gain two more positions on the final lap as Brian Vickers and Scott Speed made contact. Harvick finished the race fifth, collecting his seventh top-five and eighth top-10 finish at the track in nine starts.

Kyle Busch became the 23rd different winner in 23 Nationwide Series races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, followed by Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Mike Bliss and Harvick.

The 19-year-old Raybestos Rookie contender was the 35th of 47 cars to take time during Saturday morning’s time trials at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His quick lap of 30.516 seconds (124.813 mph) was good enough to lock the Watkinsville, GA native into the field with a 36th place starting position.

When the green flag dropped on Saturday afternoon’s 200-lap event, the Watkinsville, GA native was able to slowly work his way up through the field during a long green-flag run. Despite handling issues on the No. 09 chassis Townley was up to the 31st position one lap down to the race leader before a welcoming opportunity for relief came on lap 52 for debris.

Crew chief, Brad Parrott brought the Zaxby’s machine down pit road for a track bar adjustment, four tires and fuel. When green flag racing resumed on lap 58 Townley was scored in the 27th position.

John Wes Townley

Townley would continue his triumph in the top-30 but another long green flag run would leave the No.09 machine two laps down to race leader Carl Edwards by lap 86.

Still complaining of handling woes Parrott ordered the Zaxby’s Ford down pit road during the afternoon’s second caution flag for another round of Goodyear tires including an air pressure adjustment and fuel. Townley returned to the racing surface 25th in the running order when racing resumed on lap 108.

Over the next 40 laps of racing Townley ran just outside the top-30 in the 29th position.

On lap 158 the afternoon’s third and final caution flag was displayed for debris. Parrott brought the machine down pit road for another set of tires including an air pressure adjustment and fuel in a last attempt to tune in the Zaxby’s Ford. Townley was back on the track in the 26th position on lap 161 when racing resumed.

Over the final laps Townley would learn that his car was good on longer runs. By lap 179 he was down to the 30th position but with his never give up attitude Townley would cross the start finish line 28th.

Townley and the No. 09 Zaxby’s Racing team remain 35th in the 2009 Championship Owner point standings with 957 points; 319 points outside the top-30.

Next up for Townley and the Zaxby’s Racing team is the Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway. Flag-to-Flag coverage will begin on Friday, July 3rd at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax

June 27, 2009

· Leffler’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway Highlights

In six Nationwide Series starts at New Hampshire, Leffler has one top-five, one top-10 and three top-15 finishes. His best performance at The Magic Mile came in 2004, when he started and finished third.

· Leffler Currently Sitting Fourth in the Championship Point Standings

Leffler captured his 12th top-10 of the season with his tenth-place finish last weekend at The Milwaukee Mile. He is currently 46-points behind third place, Brad Keselowski, 137 points behind Carl Edwards and 264 points behind leader, Kyle Busch.

· Home Sweet Home for “Trucker Matt”

This weekend marks a rare return trip home for Matt Weaver, transport driver for the No. 38 Great Clips team. A native of Keene, NH, Weaver looks forward to spending the weekend with family and friends and to bragging about his four month-old son, Logan.

LEFFLER ON NEW HAMPSHIRE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

“New Hampshire isn’t characterized as a short track, but it definitely has the characteristics of one. Passing is tough and you have to be aggressive. You really have to work on getting your car up off the corner without getting loose on exit. We are taking the same car we raced last weekend in Milwaukee, which is our go-to car for this type of race track. The Great Clips team feels confident that we will be a strong contender on Saturday.”

LEFFLER REMEMBERING MAMA B. THIS WEEKEND

“Everyone at Braun Racing heads into this weekend remembering a very special lady – Mama B. (Mother of team owner, Todd Braun, who passed away one year ago). We have all missed her presence at the race track but we know she is with us in spirit and enjoying the way that this race team, that she loved so much, is performing this year. It has been a tough week for Todd and his family, so our thoughts are with them. To win at this track on this weekend would be a great way to honor to Mama B.”

Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax

June 27, 2009

Notes of Interest:

· Vickers makes his 100th Nationwide Series Start! This weekend marks the 100th NNS start for Brian Vickers, who made his NASCAR debut on July 1, 2001 at The Milwaukee Mile. Then seventeen-year old Vickers drove the No. 29 Engineered Machine Products car owned by his father, Clyde, to a 37th-place finish.

· Tune into Trackside at NHMS! Vickers will be joining the Trackside Gang on Friday night…LIVE from NHMS! And if you can’t check it out in person, you can see it on SPEED Channel at 7:00 p.m. ET.

· Loudon Stats: Although Vickers has only one previous start in a Nationwide Series car, it wasn’t too shabby! In 2003, he qualified sixth and finished fourth at the flat 1.058-mile speedway. In a Sprint Cup Series car, Vickers has nine starts with one top-five, one top-10 finish, one pole position and 53 laps led!

· Home Track for car chief, Mark Durgin: This weekend car chief, Mark Durgin returns to his New England roots for the Camping World RV Sales 200. Durgin hails from Lynn, MA which is just outside of Boston and a mere 90 minutes from NHMS.

Vickers on racing at Loudon:

“I’m looking forward to racing at Loudon again. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a Nationwide Series car here, but it’s a fun track to race on – flat and fast. The No. 32 team ran really well here last year, finishing second. I think we’ll have a good weekend in New Hampshire.”

Brian Vickers

Vickers on making his 100th start:

“This weekend marks my 100th Nationwide Series start. It’s hard to believe that it has been eight years almost to the day that I started driving in NASCAR. I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded by great family and friends who have supported me in my career. A win here this weekend would be the perfect way to celebrate.”

Equipment Information

The No. 32 Dollar General team will compete with chassis #BR028 in this Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax. Chassis #28 was last on track at Memphis Motorsports Park (October, 2008) when James Buescher qualified the car on the pole and finished 19th. Chassis #28 has since been dutifully serving as a back-up car since its 2008 run, patiently awaiting a return to the track.

Did You Know…?

He’s Baaaaaaack! Vickers returns to wheel the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota for the next three NASCAR Nationwide Series events. Since we have last seen Vickers in the No. 32 Camry, he has managed to collect two pole positions for his Red Bull Racing Team, appeared on Fox Business News, and enjoyed wine country while in Sonoma, made a pit stop in Time Square, attended the Red Bull Air Race and flew in the Red Bull stunt helicopter with Chuck Aaron! In a continuing trend, rain postponed the June 3rd PRELUDE to the DREAM at Eldora Speedway where Vickers was ready to wheel a dirt Late Model. The Dream Weekend will resume September 9th.

(June 22, 2009) – Following torrential rains on Friday evening, the NASCAR Nationwide Series was welcomed by sunshine and perfect weather for Saturday’s NorthernTool.com 250. Burney Lamar fought a tight condition throughout the day’s events to bring the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota home in the 22nd position.

Throughout the two Saturday morning practice sessions, crew chief, Trent Owens and the Dollar General team worked to correct the tight handling that Burney Lamar continued to report. Not having run a mock qualifying lap in final practice, the team was not sure what to expect for qualifying. Lamar turned in a 30.125-second lap around “America’s Legendary Oval” to start in the 26th position.

As the sun began to set in the West Allis, Wisconsin sky and teams lined up for the 250-lap race, Burney Lamar climbed into the No. 32 Dollar General Toyota knowing that he had some work ahead of him for the night. Despite a strong start which moved him into the top-20 within the first five laps, Lamar reported that the car’s tight condition was worsening as he slid back to the 25th spot.

Drivers began to make green-flag pit stops on lap 70 with Lamar bringing the No. 32 Camry to pit road for service on lap 74. The Dollar General crew went to work and quickly changed four tires and made track bar and air pressure adjustments in addition to adding a spring rubber in the right rear. As teams cycled through the green-flag pit stops, Lamar returned to the 25th position by lap 90.

The first caution of the night came out on lap 124 when the No. 99 made contact with the wall and the No. 28 machine began to give off smoke and oil. On lap 126 Lamar came down pit road for fuel, tires and adjustments. With the car’s continued tight condition, crew chief, Trent Owens, called for wedge and air pressure adjustments.

Lamar returned to the track in the 25th position and went to work once again. He managed to gain ground and moved into the 24th spot by lap 150. With debris reported on the track, NASCAR displayed the yellow flag on lap 191. Reporting that the car remained tight and he was having trouble getting on the gas, Lamar returned to pit road on lap 195 for further adjustments. The Dollar General team put on four fresh tires, packed the Camry with fuel and made track bar and air pressure adjustments.

The next caution came out quickly when the No. 20 spun on lap 206. Knowing that track position would not change, Owens called Lamar to pit road for a track bar adjustment only. Lamar returned to the track and restarted the race in the 23rd spot on lap 210. Lamar made a trip down pit road to serve a pass-through penalty for passing to the left on a restart, which relegated him back to the 24th position. Following the final caution on lap 214 for a multi-car accident in Turn 4, Lamar gained two additional positions to finish the night in the 22nd place.

Burney Lamar

“Today was just a very long and frustrating day,” said Lamar. “I can say, the team never gave up and never stopped trying to adjust the Dollar General Toyota tonight. I really appreciate all their hard work. This was not the finish I had hoped for here. But we’ll just put this one in the books and move forward.”

Brian Vickers returns to the driver’s seat of the No. 32 Dollar General Camry for the next three Nationwide Series events.

Next Stop: The NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next weekend for the Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax. The race will be broadcast LIVE on ABC and on PRN Radio starting at 2:30 p.m. EST. The green flag is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. EST.

Event Preview Fact Sheet

Event: Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax – June 27, 2009

Venue: New Hampshire Motor Speedway – Loudon, N.H.

Clint Bowyer’s NASCAR Nationwide Series Performance History at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

NOTES:

· This Weekend’s Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express Chevrolet Impala SS at New Hampshire Motor Speedway… Clint Bowyer will pilot chassis No. 068 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series stable in this weekend’s Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax. In 2008, this car was driven to a 12th-place finish at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May and a fourth-place finish at Dover International Speedway in September. This season, Jeff Burton finished 10th with this car at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in February and Bowyer drove this No. 29 racer to a third-place finish at Dover four weeks ago.

· Statistically Speaking… In four career NNS events at Loudon, Bowyer has earned one top-five and three top-10 finishes. He boasts a 3.8 average starting position and has never started outside the top eight. Also, the reigning NNS champion has completed all of the race laps in those starts and has led 163 laps of competition at NHMS

· Loop Stats … The Emporia, Kan., native has been scored in the top 15 for 745 of the 801 race laps at NHMS (93 percent) and has a 6.4 average running position. He leads all drivers over the past four NNS events at Loudon in number of fastest laps run under green-flag conditions (125).

· Former Loudon Winner … Although Bowyer has not won in Nationwide Series competition at NHMS, the 1.058-mile concrete oval was the site of his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory on September 16, 2007. Bowyer started on the pole and dominated the race, leading 222 of the 300 race laps, en route to the checkered flag.

· RCR at New Hampshire … In 19 NNS starts at Loudon, RCR has one win (Harvick – June 2007), three poles (Harvick – May 2001, July 2005 and June 2007), seven top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. RCR-prepared Chevrolets have earned an 8.5 average starting position, a 10.6 average finishing position and have led 817 laps at NHMS.

· Holiday Inn Racing at Loudon … Scott Wimmer piloted the No. 29 Holiday Inn Racing Chevrolet to 11th- and 12th-place finishes at NHMS in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

· Rearview Mirror … Last Saturday night, Stephen Leicht drove RCR’s green, white and blue Chevrolet to an eighth-place finish at The Milwaukee Mile. Leicht started the 200-lap event sixth and led a lap during the early goings. It was Holiday Inn Racing’s 10th top-10 finish of the 2009 season.

· ‘Three Wide for the Name on the Ride’ … Only two races remain to determine which of the three Holiday Inn Racing drivers, Bowyer, Burton, and Leicht, will have their name above the door of the No. 29 Chevrolet for the remainder of the season. The driver with the most wins, or best average finish, following the July Daytona International Speedway event will win the internal wager.

o Advantage Bowyer … Bowyer, who currently leads the competition with a 10-place average finish, will pilot RCR’s No. 29 Chevrolet in the final two races of the wager. He needs an average finish of 19th or better in the next two races to win the naming rights.

o Burton Chasing … The 27-time NNS winner has earned a 13.1 average finishing position in his seven starts during the competition but is still in the running if Bowyer should falter over the next two events.

o Leicht … The Asheville, N.C., native earned a modest 14th-place average finish over his four races in the Holiday Inn Chevrolet during the competition.

· Dixie Land Sweepstakes … Dixie Stampede, an associate sponsor on RCR’s No. 29 Nationwide Series Chevrolet, has teamed up with Holiday Inn to give away a fun-filled weekend for one lucky fan and their guest, centered around Bristol Motor Speedway’s August events. The winner and their guest will receive a free two-night stay at the Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Holiday Inn on August 19th and 20th, two tickets to Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction and two tickets to Dollywood. They will also receive RV accommodations (provided by Tennessee RV Sales & Service) at Bristol Motor Speedway for August 21st and 22nd, two pit passes and race tickets to the Nationwide Series Food City 250 on Friday, August 21st and two race tickets to the Sprint Cup Series Sharpie 500 on Saturday, August 22nd. To enter to win or for more details, please visit www.dixiestampede.com or submit your entry by mail to Dixie Stampede, Attn: Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 58, Pigeon Forge, Tenn., 37868.

· Double Duty Wheeling … In addition to his NNS duties, Bowyer will pilot the No. 33 Hartford Chevrolet Impala SS in Sunday’s LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at NHMS. The 17th point-paying race on the NSCS schedule will be televised live on TNT beginning at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The race will also be broadcast on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

· Race Broadcast Information … The Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax will be televised live on ABC on Saturday, June 27 beginning at 2:30 p.m. EDT. PRN and Sirius XM Satellite Radio will begin their live coverage at 2 p.m. EDT. Qualifying for the 16th event of the 2009 NNS season will air on the same day beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on SPEED. PRN and Sirius XM Satellite Radio will also broadcast live updates of time trials.

CLINT BOWYER QUOTES:

You’ve had success at New Hampshire in the Nationwide Series and you’ve been running well in the Holiday Inn Chevrolet so far this season. What are your goals this weekend?

“New Hampshire has always been a good track for me, but I’ve never won a Nationwide Series race there. I’ve dominated that race two times and got bit on pit road. I came to pit during green-flag pit stops and the caution came out both times. Hopefully, we can get one of those back and get a win for Holiday Inn Racing. New Hampshire is where I got my first Cup win and it’s special to me because of that, and I really enjoy racing up there.”

They’ve done a little bit of work to that race track. It’s been evolving over the years. What do you think of the track?

“The track has always made for good racing. It’s a fun weekend for the fans to go up there, they get a lot of bang for their buck. They get to see modified racing, Nationwide racing, touring racing… There’s just a lot of racing going on there. It’s an action-packed weekend. It’s a lot of fun for the fans. I go up in the grandstands and watch two or three races myself.”

DOUG RANDOLPH (CREW CHIEF) QUOTE:

What are your thoughts heading into this weekend’s Nationwide Series race at Loudon?

“Our flat-track program is coming along and we’ve definitely learned a few things from Dover and Milwaukee to help improve our No. 29 Chevrolet. Loudon seems to fit Clint’s driving style and is a track where he has had strong runs in the Nationwide Series. Our goal is to improve on his third-place finish at Dover in May and, hopefully, contend for the win in the late stages of the races.”

There are only two races until one of the three Holiday Inn Racing drivers’ name will appear on the door for the remainder of the season. Clint is currently leading the contest. Do you think he can hold onto the top spot?

“I think Clint has an advantage heading into this weekend at Loudon and next weekend at Daytona because he had had solid runs at those two tracks. Right now, he has the edge based on average finishes but, like any of these three drivers, he wants to win it by taking the Holiday Inn Chevy to Victory Lane and earn the right to have his name above the door. As a team, we are not playing favorites, but we are hungry to win and we’re going to do all we can each weekend, no matter who is behind the wheel, to earn those victories.”

(June 19, 2009) – Fans have the unique chance to walk in the tire tracks of their favorite NASCAR heroes during the Motor Racing Outreach and Speedway Children’s Charities Track Walk on New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s oval.

On Saturday, June 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., fans can walk the track for a good cause, alongside current NASCAR stars Bobby Labonte, Joe Nemechek, and Sam Hornish, Jr.

The walk will begin promptly after the NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax on Saturday. Walkers can register online through June 22, with trackside registration beginning Friday, June 26.

Participants will receive wristbands and a t-shirt, available for pickup at the Track Walk Registration tent, Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The yellow registration tent is located just past the entrance to the infield tunnel. Participants must also stop there to sign a waiver form prior to walking (children under 18 must have a legal guardian present to sign the waiver form). Registration for adults is $25 in advance or $30 at the speedway, with proceeds going to Speedway Children’s Charities and Motor Racing Outreach. Children age 16 and under can walk for free. Any donation or personal fundraising is welcome.

“It’s great to welcome these two outstanding organizations to our speedway,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. “What Motor Racing Outreach brings to racing is refreshing to see in professional sports, and Speedway Children’s Charities continues to provide so much for children of the area in need.”

Each Speedway Motorsports, Inc. facility has a local chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, which helps support programs for children throughout each track’s local area. In 2008, they awarded more than $3.4 million to over 420 organizations.

Motor Racing Outreach provides spiritual support to the racing community.

The Speedway Children’s Charities Track Walk, in partnership with Motor Racing Outreach, will occur rain or shine. For more information or to register online, please visit Speedway Children’s Charities online at www.speedwaycharities.org or Motor Racing Outreach at www.go2mro.com/home.htm.

Tickets for the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 are on sale now. The new MegaTicket package features three days of racing for $99. The LENOX Speed Zone seating section offers fans a $39 Sunday ticket. With these promotions, fans have the unique opportunity to experience NASCAR racing for approximately 13 cents a lap!
