Mattioli, a junior at New York’s Fordham University, will be the spokesperson for CollegeComplete.com (http://www.collegecomplete.com), as they enter the incredibly popular motorsports arena. The Pennsylvania native has one previous Nationwide Series start, a 32nd-place finish in the 2009 Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Since 2008, he has made one start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, six starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series and 21 starts in the ARCA Racing Series.
“We have had our eye on Chase his accomplishments both on and off the track and he is exactly the type of driver that we want representing Baker Curb Racing,” said Baker Curb Racing president Matt Crews. “NASCAR has become such a big business and being successful in this era takes more than just winning races, you have to understand the business side of the equation. Chase’s commitment to his education will be an asset as he continues to work towards a successful career in this industry.”
CollegeComplete.com helps the public navigate the ever-changing and highly complex landscape of higher education, connecting students with the institutions whose offering maximizes the likelihood of success. They help students wade through all of the misinformation that exists in the public domain, allowing them to truly understand and make sense of the educational opportunities at hand. CollegeComplete.com is the student facing subsidiary of Ed Ideas (http://edideas.com).
“We are extremely proud to join forces with Chase, who is completing his undergraduate degree at Fordham University while pursuing his racing career,” said Bill Brebaugh founding Principal at Ed Ideas.
“He is the perfect example of a non-traditional student, and an inspiration to those trying to balance earning a living with obtaining the education they need to survive in today’s competitive job market. We plan to work with Chase, both on and off the track, to showcase the real advantages that come with an advanced degree, and to show our prospective students that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible!”
Although their service works equally well for the traditional high school senior audience, CollegeComplete.com primarily caters to the 15 million working Americans who have not yet earned an advanced degree. In addition to working adults, CollegeComplete.com also proudly supports former and active-duty military, the disabled, the unemployed, the geographically isolated and all other types of non-traditional students.
“We see the race at Miami-Homestead Speedway as the first step in a long-term relationship between Chase, Baker Curb Racing and CollegeComplete.com,” said Dan Haim, founding Principal at Ed Ideas. “The goal is to build this relationship into a larger initiative at Daytona in February, and the entire 2011 NASCAR Nationwide series. Education is the key to America’s future, and we’re excited and proud to be taking the lead within the motorsports community to help make a difference in the lives of its fans by helping them get the education they need to succeed in today’s world!”
