Mattioli, a junior at New York’s Fordham University, will be the spokesperson for CollegeComplete.com (http://www.collegecomplete.com), as they enter the incredibly popular motorsports arena. The Pennsylvania native has one previous Nationwide Series start, a 32nd-place finish in the 2009 Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Since 2008, he has made one start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, six starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series and 21 starts in the ARCA Racing Series.

“We have had our eye on Chase his accomplishments both on and off the track and he is exactly the type of driver that we want representing Baker Curb Racing,” said Baker Curb Racing president Matt Crews. “NASCAR has become such a big business and being successful in this era takes more than just winning races, you have to understand the business side of the equation. Chase’s commitment to his education will be an asset as he continues to work towards a successful career in this industry.”

CollegeComplete.com helps the public navigate the ever-changing and highly complex landscape of higher education, connecting students with the institutions whose offering maximizes the likelihood of success. They help students wade through all of the misinformation that exists in the public domain, allowing them to truly understand and make sense of the educational opportunities at hand. CollegeComplete.com is the student facing subsidiary of Ed Ideas (http://edideas.com).

“We are extremely proud to join forces with Chase, who is completing his undergraduate degree at Fordham University while pursuing his racing career,” said Bill Brebaugh founding Principal at Ed Ideas.

“He is the perfect example of a non-traditional student, and an inspiration to those trying to balance earning a living with obtaining the education they need to survive in today’s competitive job market. We plan to work with Chase, both on and off the track, to showcase the real advantages that come with an advanced degree, and to show our prospective students that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible!”

Although their service works equally well for the traditional high school senior audience, CollegeComplete.com primarily caters to the 15 million working Americans who have not yet earned an advanced degree. In addition to working adults, CollegeComplete.com also proudly supports former and active-duty military, the disabled, the unemployed, the geographically isolated and all other types of non-traditional students.

“We see the race at Miami-Homestead Speedway as the first step in a long-term relationship between Chase, Baker Curb Racing and CollegeComplete.com,” said Dan Haim, founding Principal at Ed Ideas. “The goal is to build this relationship into a larger initiative at Daytona in February, and the entire 2011 NASCAR Nationwide series. Education is the key to America’s future, and we’re excited and proud to be taking the lead within the motorsports community to help make a difference in the lives of its fans by helping them get the education they need to succeed in today’s world!”

BAKER CURB RACING NO. 27 2010

· Rank ninth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings

· Two runner-up finishes with Greg Biffle (Auto Club Speedway 2/20/10 and Richmond 4/30/10)

· The No. 27 has led at least one lap in nine of the 18 races this season, totaling 81 laps

· In just 18 races the team has already surpassed their 2009 total with nine top-10 finishes

· Three different drivers (Biffle, Wimmer, Kelly) have registered top-10 finishes in the No. 27

KELLY BIRES NNS CAREER

· Will be making his 75th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend

· In only full NASCAR Nationwide Series season, finished 13th in the NNS point standings in 2008 for JTG Daugherty Racing

· Qualified a career-best second for the 2008 Camping World RV Sales 200 at Dover International Speedway (9/20/08)

· In his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut finished seventh and led five laps in the 2007 Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway (6/16/07)

KELLY BIRES NNS 2009

· Registered two top 5s and three top 10s in 14 NASCAR Nationwide Series Starts

· Finished a career-best fourth in the 2009 Nashville 300 at Nashville Superspeedway (4/11/09)

· Finished fifth in the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway (8/1/09)

KELLY BIRES ON DRIVING FOR BAKER CURB RACING

“I’m excited to be driving Baker Curb Racing’s No. 27 this weekend at Gateway. The team has a rich history of success and has put fast cars on the race track this season. Gateway has been a good track for me and I’m looking forward to having a strong run this weekend! ”

KELLY BIRES ON THE ECONOMY’S AFFECT ON NASCAR

“The last year and a half has been really tough with the way the economy has affected NASCAR sponsorships. I’ve been working really hard on trying to find opportunities to race for good teams in good cars. I’ve had some productive talks with sponsors that may be interested in teaming up with me and going to a good race team to finish out the rest of this season with hopes of getting back to racing full-time next season.”

CREW CHIEF JOHN REESE ON GATEWAY

“Kelly Bires is a talented driver and were looking forward to having him drive the No. 27 this weekend at Gateway. We are taking car 81, which is one of our best cars. Justin Lofton was fast in both practices with this car at New Hampshire. We qualified ninth and spent the first half of the race in the top 10. Gateway races like a very fast short track. Each set of turns are different so it makes the setup tricky.

We finished in the top 10 with Jason Keller there last year, so we’ll unload with a setup similar to what we had for him. In practice we’ll listen to Kelly’s feedback and see if we need to make any adjustments to fit his driving style. The last few races we haven’t been as strong as we were earlier in this season, so we’re looking forward to turning things around this weekend!”

FORD 300

NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE

AT HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2009

· Mike Bliss clinched the 2009 WIX Filters Lap Leader Award in tonight’s Ford 300. Bliss captured WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in six events this season. He led eight times in eight races for a total of 197 laps. In 178 NASCAR Nationwide Series races, Bliss has led 29 times for 579 total laps.

· Bliss finished the season fifth in the series championship standings.

· Bliss scored one win, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes this season. He won race No. 11 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (Concord, N.C.), the second win of his career. Both of Bliss’ victories have come at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (his other win came there in the 2004 fall race).

Mike Bliss

· BLISS QUOTES: DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START TO DESCRIBE THE 2009 SEASON?

“It was the highs and lows. We won Charlotte and had some good runs, we had runs and then I was left without a ride sitting there on a Monday trying to figure out what I was going to do. Just did a couple start and parks to maybe stay in the top-10 in points. I drove a lot of cars, met a lot of people, it was kind of fun. It was actually a fun year the way it’s ending now. I never thought I’d be in the situation I am here kind of knotted up a little bit about trying to stay in the top-five.”

ARE YOU PLEASED WITH THE YEAR THAT YOU’VE HAD?

“Oh yeah and really I couldn’t have done it without driving the CJM car, the 11 Nationwide car. I had some good finishes and some good runs with them and that’s what really helped me out a lot. Without them I probably wouldn’t be here today in this situation.”

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING NEXT YEAR?

“No. We don’t have anything. I don’t have anything. There are some teams I’m talking to.”

Jason Keller was the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race in tonight’s Ford 300. Keller led once for three laps and claimed the honor for the second time in 2009. He has now led 42 times 1,087 laps in 347 career superspeedway starts. Keller was credited with a 13th-place finish.

NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE

AT LOWE’S MOTOR SPEEDWAY, OCTOBER 16, 2009

· Kenny Wallace earned WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Dollar General 300. Wallace led once for one lap and grabbed the honor for the fourth time this season.

· Wallace has now led a total of 373 laps in 285 superspeedway starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

· Wallace posted a 21st-place finish and UNOFFICIALLY is 14th in the series championship standings.

· Mike Bliss leads Wallace by two races (6-4) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.

· WALLACE QUOTES:

“I thought it was real respectable for our team. We work hard and we overachieve. We’ve just got to be a little bit faster. The car handled really good, just needed more speed. Needed a little bit of luck there. I pitted and then the caution comes out. When you’re in our position you try to keep the car packed with fuel and two laps later the caution flag fell. We got what we earned.”

YOU ARE WITH A SMALL TEAM. HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO COMPETE AT A HIGH DOWNFORCE TRACK LIKE LOWE’S MOTOR SPEEDWAY?

“What we need is about 500,000 more dollars for a little more horsepower. We can make the horsepower we just don’t have the money to make the horsepower. That’s really just what this deal is lacking to give us 10 positions. Over the last month Tony Raines has really been picking up some speed. That’s all we need.”

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY

· DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a Nationwide Series race is Juan Pablo Montoya. Montoya captured the 2007 Corona Mexico 200 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez (Mexico City, Mexico), crossing the finish line .750 seconds ahead of Denny Hamlin (97 races).

· DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a pole position in the Nationwide Series is Erik Darnell. Darnell captured the top starting spot for the 2009 Northern Tool.com 250 at The Milwaukee (Wisc.) Mile (16 races).

· Landon Cassill won the 2008 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Cassill finished the season with one pole and five top-10 finishes in 19 starts. He grabbed the top starting spot for the Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (race No. 18). His best finishes were sixth-place efforts at Gateway (Madison, Ill.) International Raceway and Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway.

· The most recent streak for at least two Raybestos® Rookies to rank inside the top-10 in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings is 21 consecutive races (2007 race at Kentucky Speedway, race No. 16, through 2008 Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, race No. 1).

· Roush Fenway Racing has won THREE OF THE LAST FOUR Raybestos® Rookie of the Year titles in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and FOUR since 2001.

2007: David Ragan

2006: Danny O’Quinn Jr.

2005: Carl Edwards

2001: Greg Biffle

Danny O’Quinn Jr. narrowly edged John Andretti to win the 2006 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year title in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. O’Quinn Jr. finished one point higher than Andretti in the final standings, the closet margin in NASCAR national series history. He also became the second driver in series history to win the award without completing the full schedule.

Kyle Busch posted a record-setting year on his way to the 2004 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year title. In 34 starts, Busch won five times, captured five poles and scored 16 top-five and 22 top-10 finishes. His second-place finish in the Nationwide Series championship standings is a record for a Raybestos® Rookie. Other Raybestos® Rookie records Busch owns or shares: most starts (34), most wins (tied with Greg Biffle), most top fives (tied with Greg Biffle), most top 10s, most money won ($2,027,050), most championship points (4,943), most laps led (1,108) and most races led (21).

David Stremme holds the record for fewest starts by a driver to win Raybestos® Rookie of the Year. In 2003, he started just 18 of the 34 races and was the top rookie finisher in 16 of those starts. Stremme scored three top-three finishes and had more top-10 finishes (seven) than any other first-year driver. He led six races for a total of 86 laps.

David Green was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a Nationwide Series race, at Lanier, Ga., in 1991. Green captured the Nestle 200 by 1.58-seconds over Jeff Gordon, a fellow Raybestos® Rookie. A third Raybestos® Rookie, Todd Bodine, placed eighth in the race.

Dennis Setzer was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win TWO or more races in a season. In 1994, he won the Ford Credit 300 at South Boston (Va.) Speedway and The Pantry 300 at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Speedway, the Detroit Gasket 200 at Michigan International Speedway and the Autolite Platinum 250 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.

Kenny Wallace was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a pole in the Nationwide Series. Wallace grabbed the top starting spot for the 1989 Goody’s 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, the first race in the history of the Raybestos® Rookie of the Year program.

Steve Park was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win THREE or more races in a season. In 1997, he won the BellSouth Mobility/Opryland 300 at Nashville (Tenn.) Speedway, the Detroit Gasket 200 at Michigan International Speedway and the Autolite Platinum 250 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway.

· The Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway this weekend marks one year ago that John Wes Townley and RAB Racing made their NASCAR Nationwide Series debut. In just their first full year of competition, RAB Racing has accumulated one top-15, five top-20 and nine top-25 finishes.

· John Wes Townley, a 19-year-old Raybestos Rookie claims Dover International Speedway as “his favorite track” on the NASCAR Nationwide Series circuit.

This is a previous Roush Fenway Racing chassis that Matt Kenseth drove to victory lane in 2006 and was last seen at Bristol Motor Speedway where Townley finished 33rd.

John Wes Townley at Dover: Townley has two starts at the 1-mile oval including his best start and finish of 21st and 30th respectively following engine woes in the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 on September 20th.

Season Review: After 27 of the 35 scheduled events on the 2009 NNS schedule, John Wes Townley has 18 starts, three top-20 and seven top-25 finishes.

Last Time Around-Richmond: Travis Kvapil filled in for John Wes Townley at Richmond Int’l Raceway on Friday, September 11th. The 2003 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion overcame a 35th-place qualifying effort and on-track adversity to bring home a respectable 20th-place finish in the Virginia 529 College Savings 300; posting RAB Racing’s 5th top-20 finish of the 2009 season.

Points Check: Following a top-20 finish at RIR the No. 09 entry moved up one position to 33rd with 1,729 points in the 2009 owner point standings; 102 markers behind 32nd and 529 points outside the top-30. John Wes Townley is currently 32nd in the driver point standings.

Rookie Race: Townley currently remains 7th in the 2009 Raybestos Rookie of the year battle.

In The Garage: Ashley Parlett, RAB Racing’s chassis/brake specialist calls Dover Int’l Speedway her “home track”. The 26-year-old Wye Mills, MD native grew up racing open-wheel sprint cars. She built every car she ever raced and when the time came to grow up and get a job she didn’t venture far from her roots. Parlett has worked for RAB Racing the last two years and continues to be one of only a few female mechanics in the NASCAR Nationwide Series garage.

We Are Guessing He Signs His Name Fast Too: John Wes Townley will join other NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers for an autograph session on Saturday, September 26th from 9:15-10:15 a.m. ET in the Fan Zone at the “Official Trackside Merchandise Trailer” prior to qualifying.

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY

· DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a Nationwide Series race is Juan Pablo Montoya. Montoya captured the 2007 Corona Mexico 200 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez (Mexico City, Mexico), crossing the finish line .750 seconds ahead of Denny Hamlin (91 races).

· DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a pole position in the Nationwide Series is Erik Darnell. Darnell captured the top starting spot for the 2009 Northern Tool.com 250 at The Milwaukee (Wisc.) Mile (10 races).

· Brendan Gaughan led 10 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Food City 250. Gaughan claimed the award for the second time this season. He led at least one lap in BOTH Bristol races this season.

· Gaughan posted a 19th-place finish in tonight’s race at Bristol.

· Mike Bliss leads Kenny Wallace by three races (6-3) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.

“Our strategy was to stop around lap 40 and try to play the cautions. Rusty [Wallace] kind of asked us to start gambling a little bit more and take some chances. I loved the call. I guess we ended up six laps short. That caution came out and it ran out and couldn’t get fuel back into it. These new fuel pressure systems with this new hard line deal. ECR makes great engines but when they don’t have any fuel they can’t go anywhere.

I’m a little upset, though. I was really hoping that the push truck would get there faster than they did. I could have not lost two laps doing it but Bryan [Berry, crew chief] made a great call. We put a show on for 5 hour and at least we got a WIX award.”

YOU RAN WELL TONIGHT.

“We ended up running well and after how we practiced it’s a testament to Rusty Wallace racing and the perseverance of my boys. They don’t quit.”
