Mooresville, N.C. - (April 19, 2013) Tyler Young finished third in his first CARS X-1R Pro Cup Series race of the year on Saturday in the Catawba Valley 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina. "We started sixth and we were tight early. The leaders' pace was much faster than we expected so we just let them go and focused on being there at the end," Tyler said. "We made several pit stops to do what we could to get it better and near the end we picked up and once the tires wore out the leaders backed up to us.
