Furniture Row driver sets team record
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (Nov. 18, 2012) – Kurt Busch scored his third straight top-10 finish by posting a ninth-place result in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The performance marked the first time that Furniture Row Racing has claimed three consecutive top-10 finishes.
Busch, who was competing in his sixth race with the Denver, Colo.-based team, was coming off a pair of eighth-place results in Texas and Phoenix.
"Finishing the season with three straight top-10s and four straight top-15s – you just can’t ask for much more in a short period of time together,” said Busch, who had an average finish of 10.0 in the last four races.
