Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200, Mansfield Motorsports Park, Mansfield, Ohio

Race Information: Event: Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200, Saturday, July 17 at 8:00 p.m. Local Time Track: Mansfield Motorsports Park Qualifying: Saturday, July 17 at 5:30 p.m. Local Time; Track Length: .5-mile paved-oval.

Last Time Out; Iowa Speedway: It appeared that Patrick Sheltra and his Sheltra Motorsports team was well on their way to notching their ninth consecutive top-10 finish in a row at Iowa Speedway last weekend. The team unloaded their No. 60 Sheltra Motorsports Toyota Camry to post the sixth fastest time in the first practice. In happy hour, the Sheltra Motorsports posse flexed their muscle and recorded the top spot in the short practice session. After qualifying eighth, Sheltra motored into the top-five before the engine seized underneath the hood of the Jon Wolfe led team resulting in a 29th place finish in the Prairie Meadows 200.

Welcome Back To The Buckeye State: On Saturday night, the Indiantown, Florida native will make his second start at Mansfield Motorsports Park (MMP). In last year’s event, Sheltra qualified 16th but became trapped in a multi-car incident in the first corner of the first lap. Sheltra was able to rebound and put his No. 60 Dodge Charger into the top-10 before suspension failure 28 laps from the finish relegated the team to a 21st place finish.

Nothing Wrong With Getting Carried-A-Way: On Thursday, crew chief Jon Wolfe and Sheltra participated in a private test at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, North Carolina. The team utilized the session to shake down their automobile for this weekend’s feature at MMP. Prior to Thursday, the Indiantown, Florida native never had competed at the North Carolina speed plant.

Waking Up On A Brighter Side; LaQuinta Style: Driver Patrick Sheltra and his Sheltra Motorsports team welcome LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Mansfield, Ohio on-board the team’s No. 60 Dodge Charger this weekend as an associate marketing partner. Built in 1996, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Mansfield, Ohio hosts 86 rooms, a mixture of king rooms, double rooms and suites. For relaxation, the establishment located in the south end of Mansfield, Ohio offers an indoor pool and hot tub. The LQ Mansfield also offers free high speed wireless internet and free daily continental breakfast. For reservations, please call, 419.774.0005.

Yeah, It’s Got A Hemi: For the fifth time in 2010, the Mooresville, North Carolina based Sheltra Motorsports team will feature the Chrysler nameplate as its manufacturer of choice for Saturday night’s Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park. The team competed with a Dodge Charger in the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Salem (Ind.) Speedway, Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and most recently at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway. The team has eclipsed five top-10 finishes including four top-five efforts sealed with a season-best of second at Talladega in April.

Happy Birthday Mr. Hylton: Brandon Hylton, mechanic and tire carrier for the veteran ARS team will celebrate his 23rd birthday on Sunday, July 18. Hylton joined Sheltra Motorsports in January after a stint in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with CJM Racing. Hylton is also the son of veteran NASCAR crew chief Butch Hylton.

Point’s Check: Nine races down, 11 to go, Sheltra with the guidance of crew chief Jon Wolfe sits second in the ARCA Racing Series championship standings accumulating 1970 points and 70 markers behind current leader Justin Marks. Sheltra holds a 30 point gap from third place competitor Craig Goess. The 24-year old Sheltra also controls the second position in the ARS car owner standings. After last weekend’s results at Iowa Speedway, Sheltra slipped to second in the championship chase after holding the top-spot for three consecutive races in a row after also sharing the top-spot with Parker Kligerman for one race (Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway) in 2009.

Nice Stats: By posting his eighth top-10 finish of the season at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) on June 11, Sheltra remains the only ARCA Racing Series driver to finish inside the top-10 in eight of the nine races thus far in 2010. Sheltra kicked off his strongest start to an ARCA season with a fifth place performance at Daytona, a 10th place performance at Palm Beach, a fourth place run at Salem Speedway, a seventh place outing at Texas Motor Speedway, his season-best second at ‘Dega, an eighth at Toledo Speedway, a fourth place run at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway and most recently a third place outing in the Racing for Wildlife 200 at MIS for round number eight.

Closing In On A Record: While eclipsing his fifth top-five finish of the year at Michigan International Speedway last month, Patrick Sheltra holds a new record for the number of finishes inside the top-five for a full-season. In his previous three full-time seasons, Sheltra has posted a season high of four top-five finishes including in 2009. Sheltra personal best of nine top-10 finishes in 2008 is on the verge of being collapsed with Sheltra aiming for nine top-10s in 10 events in 2010. Sheltra is expected to set a new personal season stat record with 11 races remaining this year.

Autographs Anyone?: After his duties at the track on Saturday, Sheltra is scheduled to participate in the on-track autograph session on the frontstretch at Mansfield Motorsports Park (Mansfield, Ohio) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm local time.

Speedway (April 2009). During his ARCA tenure, Sheltra has accumulated 15 top-fives and posted 30 top-10 finishes. A third place qualifying effort at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway (April 2009) and Michigan International Speedway (June 2010) is Sheltra’s best time trials effort to date. He has controlled the ARCA field six times for 148 laps.

Sheltra Motorsports, Mansfield Motorsports Park Pre-Race Quotes: Patrick Sheltra, driver / owner of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger

On Iowa Speedway: “We had a great car last weekend at Iowa. We weren’t expecting the motor to give way, but sometimes that happens in racing. I appreciate everything that the Sheltra Motorsports team and Triad did to try and make our weekend successful. It’s just time to put this race in the rear-view mirror.”

On Mansfield Motorsports Park: “Mansfield is a pretty unique place. It’s a tough track to negotiate. You need to have a good handling car and be able to feather the throttle if need be; not to mention keep the fenders on for 200 laps. I have high hopes for Saturday night, so I hope what I have in mind will actually come to life.”

On The Caraway Speedway Test: “I think the test went pretty good. We just wanted to shake down our No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger and make sure we had all the kinks worked out. I feel like what we learned there could be extremely beneficial for Saturday night.”

On His New Game Plan: “Our game plan which starts at Mansfield is simple. We’re going to do what we did the first eight races. We plan to show consistency, lead laps and be up front. Eventually, we should be able to overcome the deficit we received at Iowa and have everyone chasing us again.”

On Points: “This championship is going to come down to the wire. I think you’ll be allowed one, maybe two bad races to keep in the hunt but other than that, you have to be in contention (to win races), leading laps and vying for those crucial qualifying points. I need to step up my game for qualifying and I have some ideas on how to mange that. It’s going to be exciting for sure.”

Sheltra Motorsports, Mansfield Motorsports Park Pre-Race Quotes: Jon Wolfe, crew chief of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger

On Mansfield Motorsports Park: “The whole team is pumped up about going to Mansfield. Patrick is so exciting to watch on the short tracks and that excitement bleeds over to all of us. Hopefully, the excitement will lead a trip to victory lane.”

On What The Keys Are To Succeeding At Mansfield Motorsports Park: “As with most short track racing Mansfield gets a little rough and tumble sometimes, so keeping the fenders on and being there at the end is the biggest key.”

On The Possibility Of Winning At His Hometown Track: “Growing up about 40 miles from Mansfield in Strasburg, Ohio makes this a special event for me. I have some relatives and friends attending, so a win would be just that much better.”

On How You Keep The Team’s Confidence Positive After The Disappointment Of Last Weekend (Iowa): “Getting back to the track is the best medicine. Racing is full of up’s and downs and we are just trying to remain focused on our mission, winning races and ultimately the championship.”

On Giving The Sheltra Motorsports Team A Grade For The First Nine Races This Season: “This is a hard one. All the guys have come a long way in a hurry and seem to get better every day. Our on track performance has been really good most of the time with a few hiccups along the way, so overall I would have to say a B+. The good thing is that we have 11 more events to up our grade to an A+.

Andrew Ranger

Montréal, July 14, 2010 - Andrew Ranger, one of the most popular and talented Quebec drivers of his generation, will compete in the 2010 NAPA Auto Parts 200 presented by Dodge on August 28-29 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. With sponsorship from the Dodge Dealers of Québec, the 23-year old from Roxton Pond, Québec will be looking for his first-ever NASCAR Nationwide Series win, following a remarkable third place finish last year in Montréal. The deal also includes sponsorship for four rounds of the NASCAR Canadian Tires Series. Ranger will be driving a Baker-Curb Racing Dodge Charger in the 74-lap Nationwide race against Carl Edwards and Marcos Ambrose, the only drivers who beat him to the checkered flag last year in Montréal.

“We are thrilled to team up with Andrew Ranger in his quest to win the Montréal NASCAR Nationwide event of which Dodge is also a proud presenting sponsor,” said Jean Gosselin, President of the Quebec Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealers Advertising Coop. “We believe that it is a privilege to be associated with the highest ranking Québec driver in last year’s NASCAR Series. We know he is very talented, highly motivated, and always ready for a challenge, and our Dodge dealers know all about challenges. We are happy to announce that our backing also includes four NASCAR Canadian Tire Series races, including the Montréal event.”

François Dumontier, President of Octane Management and delegated promoter of the event, was also quite pleased with the announcement. “We believe that Dodge has made a sound choice by supporting Andrew. He is definitively one of the contenders at our race. His performance last year delighted the crowd at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and I am sure that they are pleased with today’s announcement. Each time Andrew has shown up at our track to compete in whatever series, he’s always been very competitive in front of the home crowd. We are sure that he will show his fans once again that he is up to the August 28-29 challenge.”

Ranger will be making his seventh Nationwide Series start in Montréal. In his first-ever start in that series in 2008 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, he qualified 15th and ran among the leaders for a while before rain ruined his race as it did for many others. He had shown enough to be invited to drive Armando Fitz’ Dodge in four other Nationwide races at Bristol, Richmond, Kansas and Charlotte. Appearing last year at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, he did well qualifying the CJM Racing entry in ninth place, before moving to the front to lead the race for 10 laps. He kept in touch with Edwards and Ambrose to finish third, ahead of Jacques Villeneuve.

Running three full seasons in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, the Canadian driver won the title twice with a record of five poles, eight wins, 20 top-5 and 31 top-10 finishes. This season, he is running south of the border in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, one of NASCAR’s development series. In four starts so far, he has captured one pole, scored a win, earned 2 Top-5 and 3 Top-10 finishes. He won at Sonoma in the K&N Pro Series West on June 9.

“I am happy with the faith entrusted in me by the Québec Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealers Coop,” Andrew Ranger said. “I know the track well, and I am at ease competing in front of the home crowd. It is always a great source of motivation to run at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Last year, I experienced some extraordinary moments battling with the likes of Carl, Marcos, and Jacques. They will be back this year and I know they all want to win, but with a great Dodge car that is being prepared for me, and the extra year of experience, I think that I have legitimate chance to win ahead of them. This will be my state of mind when I will arrive at the track.”

Tickets for the 2010 Montreal NAPA Auto Parts 200, Presented by Dodge are currently on sale. To order the best grandstands tickets and see Andrew Ranger take on the likes of Marcos Ambrose, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, the current series points leader, Justin Allgaier, Paul Menard, Jacques Villeneuve, Patrick Carpentier, as well as several other NASCAR stars on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Saturday and Sunday August 28-29, fans must call 514 397-0007 or order online anytime at www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca/en

Mandated by Stock-Car Montréal, a wholly-owned subsidiary of International Speedway Corporation (ISC) based in Daytona Beach, Florida, Octane Management is, since 2009, the delegated promoter of the NAPA Auto Parts 200, Presented by Dodge. ISC is the leading promoter of motorsports in North America, hosting over 100 major racing events each year.

The Québec Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Dealers Coop, representing its 93 dealers across the province, proudly offers the hottest models of the summer such as the Dodge Grand Caravans, Chargers, Journeys, Challengers and Ram trucks as well as the full line of Jeep utility vehicles featuring the all-new 2011 Grand Cherokee, arriving soon in a dealership showrooms.

No. 88 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet

This isn’t your first race with JRM, but it is your first race driving the No. 88 Chevrolet. What are some of your goals as you look ahead to Fontana?

“Tony Eury Sr., the HendrickCars.com crew, we’re all excited about this weekend. I think realistically, a strong top-10 run would be ideal. It’s a good standard to set. As far as my personal goals, I want to run in the top five and contend for a win. I think if we go there and run in the top 10 all day, and give ourselves a shot at finishing in the top five, that’s a win-win situation for the first race. I was real proud of how fast the 88 car ran last weekend at Daytona. It was an unfortunate situation, when Dale got hooked and ended up on his roof. But the car was fast all day and it makes me feel good going to Fontana.”

JRM’s No. 88 Chevrolet has a bit of a reputation as a car that’s more than capable of winning races and finishing in the top five each week. How does that register with you as a driver?

“It definitely gives you more confidence as a driver knowing what the team is capable of doing each week. That’s one more thing you don’t have to worry about. From my situations in the past, you had to worry about what kind of equipment you were getting into. Now with JRM, I know the equipment is the best in the business and all I have to do is drive our HendrickCars.com Chevrolet. It just makes you feel more confident and excited about driving the car.”

This is you first weekend to be Danica Patrick’s teammate. How do you think you two will do working together? “Well it doesn’t feel like our first weekend. We worked closely together during pre-season testing and all throughout Daytona Speedweeks. I wasn’t driving the 88, but I was in the garage with the team the entire time. She bounced a lot of questions off me. She asks a lot of intelligent questions. I do my best to help her out, and give her as much feedback as I can. She’s got a good head on her shoulders, and I look forward to working with her for the next couple races. I think she is going to do well.”

Danica Patrick - Photo Credit: Sam Greenwood/Getty Images for NASCAR

Danica Patrick

No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet

Do you think running at a non-restrictor plate track like Fontana – a track a little less complicated than Daytona – will shorten your stock-car learning curve a bit?

“Much like every other time I’ve gotten in the Go Daddy car, it’s new territory. I don’t know what to expect at Fontana, but I’m learning more and more the longer I’m in the car. JR Motorsports has put a great team behind me in [crew chief] Tony Eury Jr. and all the guys on the Go Daddy team. They offer tremendous support and I can always lean on them for help. I’m sure having Daytona under my belt will be helpful, but Fontana is going to be yet again another learning experience.”

Does your approach to Fontana change now that you have a better understanding of what to expect behind the wheel of a Nationwide Series car?

“I have a better feel for the starts and restarts. Things like getting through the gears, up to speed and the double-file restarts. Fontana is a much different track and race than Daytona, so I’m going in there with the understanding that things are going to be completely different.”

This is a busy week for you with all your media obligations on the west coast, how do you maintain your focus through the media craze that has followed you for the past two weeks?

“I’m lucky to have a great team on my side. They make sure that my number one focus is racing, because at the end of the day, racing is the job at hand. If I’m overwhelmed with what is going on outside of the car, I’m not going to be able to focus on what needs to be done inside the car. We try really hard to find a comfortable balance of the two so it’s a win-win for everyone.”

CALIFORNIA NOTEBOOK:

IT’S BIRES’ TURN – Twenty-five-year-old Kelly Bires begins his first season driving the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. Bires drove the No. 5 Ragu Chevrolet during his JRM debut in the 2009 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway and finished 29th.

HOLLYWOOD STARLET – Danica Patrick is taking full advantage of NASCAR’s west coast swing this week with appearances on multiple television shows. After guest-starring on “CSI: NY” last week, Patrick will be featured on “The Ellen Show”, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”, “Good Day LA”, “CBS Evening News”, “The Bonnie Hunt Show”, “Chelsea Lately” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in the days leading up to the Stater Bros. 300.

AT CALIFORNIA – In three starts at California, Bires earned one top-15 finish. He has led one lap and earned an average finish of 22nd.

REWRITING THE HISTORY BOOKS – Patrick has the potential to make Nationwide Series history at Auto Club Speedway this weekend. According to NASCAR Statistical Services, if she finishes 31st or better, Patrick becomes the highest finishing woman in a NNS race at the facility, surpassing Patty Moise, Shawna Robinson and Tina Gordon.

HENDRICKCARS.COM – The No. 88 Chevrolet will feature HendrickCars.com on its hood and quarter panels at Auto Club Speedway this weekend. HendrickCars.com allows consumers to view up to 5,000 cars online from franchised dealerships with manufacturer certified used cars. The website offers up to 60 photos of each vehicle from award winning dealerships, and free CARFAX reports.

A GUARANTEED SPOT – Patrick will be guaranteed a spot in the first three events of the NNS 2010 season based off JRM’s acquisition of points from CJM Racing’s No. 11 team, which finished 15th in the 2009 Nationwide Series owners point standings. Patrick’s 2010 schedule includes the next two Nationwide Series events – Fontana and Las Vegas – before she takes a four-month hiatus to focus on the IndyCar Series. She will return to Nationwide Series action on June 26 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

THE 88 TEAM AT CALIFORNIA – With former JRM driver Brad Keselowski behind the wheel, the No. 88 team had mixed results in its two races at Auto Club Speedway last year. In the February race, a possible top-10 finish went away when a crash with 55 laps to go relegated the No. 88 team to a 27th-place finish. The team rebounded in the fall to lead 27 laps and finish fifth.

MAKE YOUR MARK ON WHISKY RIVER JACKSONVILLE – Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s popular nightspot, Whisky River, is expanding to Jacksonville, Fla., this spring, and fans now have the opportunity to mark their territory by submitting personal and unique belt buckles to line the bar, DJ booth and walls of Whisky River Jacksonville. Bayne put those bad memories behind him as he prepares to celebrate his 19th birthday on Friday with a good performance in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif. It marks the second start on the two-mile oval for the Knoxville, Tenn., native who finished 19th on Oct. 10.

QUOTES

BAYNE ON FONTANA: “I got to run there last year for CJM Racing. I think it’s going to help me out that I am not going in there blind. I kind of know what to expect at California. I know what the car and the track are going to do as the race goes on. I know that you have to carry a lot of momentum there to run fast laps. It’s also kind of cool how you can feel the draft when there is a car beside you. At Fontana you can defiantly feel the aero and mechanical sides of the car.”

BAYNE ON DAYTONA: “It was a frustrating situation. However, we can’t start chasing our tails now . Daytona is a crap shoot anyway. You expect to go there and wreck and it’s an awesome day if you don’t. It’s just disappointing that we wrecked so early. I was hoping to be able to log some laps there but was only able to get seven under my belt. Kevin Manion (Bono) and Martin Truex Jr. both texted me after the race and said they wrecked at Daytona and won the championship. I still think we have a chance to win the championship. Every team is going to have a bad weekend. It’s the team who has the least amount of bad weeks that will bring home the championship.”

BAYNE ON EARNING REPECT: “It’s hard to get respect when you have rookie strips on your car. I think the best way to get respect from your competitors is to race them like you want to be raced. I think the more races I get under my belt the more respect that I will get from some of the veterans of the sport. “

ADDITIONAL NOTES OF INTEREST

· Bayne is the youngest driver competing full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this season.

· Bayne will celebrate his 19th birthday Friday, Feb. 19. He was born in Spartanburg, S.C and moved to Knoxville, Tenn., when he was two months old.

· Last weekend at Daytona International Speedway, Bayne and the No. 99 Diamond-Waltrip Racing team had a car that could compete with the leaders. Unfortunately, early contact by the No. 40 of Mike Bliss sent the young rookie into the outside retaining wall and ended the day for the No. 99 team on lap seven. The team finished 41st in the final rundown.

· Last fall Bayne started the race at Auto Club Speedway in the 11th spot and finished 19th. He worked his way into the top 10 before contact by another competitor on pit road caused damage to the Toyota Camry and forced him to make several up scheduled pit stops.

· The 18-year-old driver’s has driven in 16 NNS races. He has one pole (Indianapolis Raceway Park), two top-10’s (IRP and Richmond) and has led total of 34 laps.

· Sirius XM listeners can tune into channel 128 every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. to hear Bayne’s weekly visit on Sirius Speedway with Mike Bagley and Pete Pistone throughout the 2010 season.

No. 88 Hellmann’s Chevrolet

What are you anticipating having Danica Patrick as your JRM teammate this weekend?

“A lot of attention – for her, not me. This might be the first time we don’t have to weave through cameras and media reporters when walking to our car, because they’ll be in Danica’s garage. She handles it well, and we’ll try to make sure it’s not a distraction this weekend. We are there to do a job. I’m driving the Hellmann’s Chevy and she’s in the Go Daddy Chevy, and we’d like both to have strong runs this weekend. It’s a big race for our sponsors, and it’s a big race for our sport. A lot of people will be paying attention to this race this Saturday.”

You finished 7th at Daytona in the Hellmann’s Chevrolet last year, what does the JRM team need to do to get its first Daytona victory this weekend?

“It’s a combination of things, but we’ve got to handle well to put ourselves in the right place at the right time. That’s the key. If we’re not handling, the rest of the chips don’t fall into place. But I can tell you this – there’s nobody I’d rather have set up my car at Daytona than (crew chief) Tony Eury Sr. He’s the best there is.”

It’s been five years since you raced with “Pops” Eury as your crew chief in the NNS. Is this going to be like a throw-back race to the old days for you?

“Hell yeah… I’m all about throwback, especially when it comes to racing with Pops because we won so many races. It will be fun driving his car and hearing his voice on the radio. He’s one of the best crew chiefs in the garage, and like I said, there’s nobody better at Daytona than Pops and Tony Jr. They know what it takes to get around that place. This is going to be fun.”

Danica Patrick - Photo Credit: Motorsports Images & Archives

Danica Patrick

No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet

What’s was the largest contributing factor in your decision to run the Nationwide Series race at Daytona?

“The ARCA race was a great learning experience. Obviously it’s not the same as a Nationwide race, but I feel I have a much better understanding of what to expect out there on the racetrack and in the draft with the GoDaddy.com car. That had a lot to do with my decision. The amount of uncertainty surrounding the race had dwindled. After reviewing the options with my team, we decided it was the right decision to race this weekend. I feel confident in our choice.”

Dale Jr. is going to be your JRM teammate this weekend, what are your thoughts on racing against your boss?

“I have to think of him as a fellow driver and teammate, not my boss. I’m really looking forward to racing with him this Saturday. Hopefully we’ll be in a position to work together at some point, because I know he’s a master at this track. I could learn a lot from him. It’s going to be a great experience at a different racing level, and I hope it will be as much fun as last week’s race.”

After surviving 80 laps in the ARCA race, what did you learn from that event which will carry over to Saturday’s race?

“What didn’t I learn? You can talk about the race all you want and prepare as much as you can, but until you are really in the car during a race, you’ll never know. That is the true test. Our GoDaddy.com team went through a lot that race. On Saturday I hope I’m able to walk away from the race knowing that I didn’t leave anything on the track.”

Do you have any goals for the NNS race, and what has to happen to make Saturday a good day for Danica Patrick?

“I want to do this the right way. The biggest thing is to get the car comfortable for me in practice. Our GoDaddy.com team spent a lot of time in practice for last week’s race and I think it paid off in the long run. Again, I just want to run a solid race. I want tolog laps and be part of the action. I understand the draft a bit better than before, so I want the chance to work with some of the other drivers.”

DAYTONA NOTEBOOK:

JRM DREAM TEAM – Two of the biggest names in racing will be paired up as JR Motorsports teammates when Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Danica Patrick take to the high banks of Daytona this weekend in the NASCAR Nationwide Series opener. Earnhardt Jr. will drive the No. 88 Hellmann’s Chevrolet while Danica Patrick pilots the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet in her NASCAR debut.

STARTING WITH A BANG – Patrick made her stock-car debut with much success last week in the Lucas Oil Slick 200 ARCA race. After a 12th-place start, the Roscoe, Ill. native maintained her poise during a spinout with 30 laps do go, and rallied to a sixth-place finish.

FIVE-YEAR REUNION – Tony Eury Sr. will be serving as Earnhardt Jr.’s crew chief for the first time in five years this weekend. The last time “Pops” was atop the pit box for Earnhardt Jr. in the Nationwide Series, it was under the Dale Earnhardt, Inc. banner for both Daytona events in 2005. The pair’s best finish was third that year. Additionally, “Pops” served as Earnhardt Jr.’s crew chief when he clinched back-to-back Nationwide Series Championships in 1998 and 1999.

AT DAYTONA – In 17 starts at Daytona, Earnhardt Jr. has five wins, eight top-five and 10 top-10 finishes. He has led 481 laps and earned an average finish of 12.2.

A GUARANTEED SPOT – Patrick will be guaranteed a spot in the first three events of the NNS 2010 season based off JRM’s acquisition of points from CJM Racing’s No. 11 team, which finished 15th in the 2009 Nationwide Series owners point standings.

DANICA’S 2010 NNS SCHEDULE – Patrick will compete in 13 Nationwide Series races in 2010, including the first three events of the year at Daytona, California and Las Vegas. The remainder of her schedule includes races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (June 26), Chicagoland Speedway (July 9), Michigan International Speedway (Aug. 14), Dover International Speedway (Sept. 25), Auto Club Speedway (Oct. 9), Charlotte Motor Speedway (Oct. 15), Gateway International Raceway (Oct. 23), Texas Motor Speedway (Nov. 6), Phoenix International Raceway (Nov. 13), and Homestead-Miami Speedway (Nov. 20).

McDougall originally joined RWR in late 2009, after serving as engineer for CJM Racing’s No. 11 team. In that role, McDougall helped to lead an effort that resulted in five top-five and eight top-ten finishes over the final 11 races of 2009 for the now-defunct organization. That run included five consecutive top-ten finishes to close the season, with drivers Mike Bliss and Denny Hamlin.

Prior to his experience at CJM, McDougall was a longtime member of the Evernham Motorsports organization, including a stint as crew chief of its No. 19 team and driver Elliott Sadler in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Stated RWR team owner, Rusty Wallace, “I’m really pleased to make this announcement. Scott McDougall brings a great deal of experience and a strong engineering-driven approach to our team’s efforts. As we go along, we’re constantly trying to upgrade all aspects of our program and this is yet another large upgrade. Between this announcement and our new Toyota and Gibbs alignments, 2010 is shaping up to be the strongest year yet for our team.”

Noted McDougall, “I’m extremely excited about this opportunity. Rusty Wallace has built a first-rate organization and there is a ton of potential here; Steve Wallace is one of the series’ fastest and most rapidly improving drivers. I’m looking forward hopefully to helping him and the 5-Hour Energy Toyota team break through into victory lane for the first time in 2010.”

About Rusty Wallace Racing, LLC

U.S.-based Rusty Wallace Racing (RWR) is a professional auto racing team steeped in the legendary history of its founder and one of NASCAR’s top-ten drivers of all-time, Rusty Wallace. The organization currently campaigns the No. 66 and No. 62 Toyota Camrys in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, piloted by Steve Wallace and Brendan Gaughan.
Statement from Owners Tony and Bryan Mullet

“Our vision for life, business and racing is to honor God with the time, talents and resources he has given us. Over the last four years we have been able to extend that vision into racing. We felt racing could be used as a platform to share that vision with millions of people. We have been surrounded by a great group of people that have supported us and developed a successful program.

“As of now, it appears that CJM will not be running the 2010 Nationwide season. It is really hard for us to see this great group of people move in other directions. They have done so much to build this program and beyond that, it has become like a family.

“We have built many great relationships within the industry and we want to thank everyone for showing us support. We are thankful for the time we have had to enjoy this great sport and are focused intently on what the future will bring.”

In a breakout season for the team, Denny Hamlin put a punctuation mark to the end of the year driving the No. 11 GodSpeaks.com Toyota to a fifth-place finish. The team ended the year with 12 top-10 finishes, 5 top-five finishes and two runner-up finishes. This all in only their second full season of competition.

As many teams, drivers and owners look forward to the end of the season, it was the complete opposite for CJM Racing. The last three months have elevated the team to one of the best in the Nationwide garage. The team was looking for their first signature win, and with Hamlin behind the wheel the team was very confident heading into Saturday night’s Ford 300 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The team arrived with a new car and Hamlin gave it quick approval by running quick lap times. The team was third fastest after two practice sessions Friday and looking forward to a strong run on Saturday. The team qualified sixth and was now prepared for the 200-lap affair.

A late afternoon start, the race was a transition day-to-night event. The race started off well for Hamlin moving up to fifth by the first caution on lap nine for a spinning Brad Keselowski. Hamlin reported to team crew chief Paul Wolfe that the car was a little “free in,” but was still running quick laps.

Hamlin ran in the top 10 until contact with Keselowski on lap 34 caused some minor damage to the hood. The team was set back again after NASCAR enforced a one-lap penalty on Hamlin for the incident. They were now back to the 35th spot, one lap off the leaders. The team continued to make adjustments to better their Toyota Camry and get themselves back on the lead lap. Their wish was granted on lap 90 when a caution gave them the free pass to get back on the lead lap. They also took advantage of the pass to cap off their fuel tank before going back to green.

The team was also fighting a car down on horsepower. A cracked header left the team down on power and they couldn’t fix it during the race.

Starting 22nd when the race resumed on lap 97, Hamlin moved to 14th by lap 125, and as cars started to pit for fuel CJM Racing was left leading the field for a total of seven laps. The team came down pit road on lap 156 for four fresh tires and fuel. The caution came out and reset the field with Hamlin in great position, running fifth with fresher tires than most. He moved up to fourth on lap 170.

A late caution on lap 186 sent Hamlin down pit road for one final stop. The team took four more fresh tires hoping to grab a top-three finish or potential win. Quick work by the crew lined Hamlin up 11th for the final run. He capped it off with a top-five finish for CJM Racing and a great comeback for team.

“It was a long day,” said Hamlin. “We fought and fought to try and get it and the long green-flag runs really hurt us with track position. Luckily we had some cautions at the end that really helped us. We had a mechanical issue with the header and it was everything we had at the end to run with the guys. Overall it was still a good run.”

Race Results:

1. Kyle Busch

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Homestead-Miami Speedway – November 21, 2009

- Camry driver Kyle Busch earned the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) championship when he took the green flag on
Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The championship marks the first NNS driver’s title for Toyota and the first
NASCAR championship for the 24-year old Las Vegas-native.

- Busch won his ninth NNS race of 2009 and 15th for Toyota this season when he took the checkered flag at Homestead-Miami
Speedway. Busch also become the first driver since 1983 (Sam Ard) to win both the season-finale and the championship in the
series.

- Camry drivers Joey Logano (fourth), Denny Hamlin (fifth), David Reutimann (sixth) and Scott Speed (ninth) also earned top-10
finishes.

- Jason Leffler (18th), Michael Annett (21st), Justin Marks (32nd) and Chase Miller (37th) were also in the field.

- This season, Camry drivers had 15 victories, 68 top-fives, 127 top-10 finishes, and have led 3,854 laps.

<img src="http://www.catchfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/2009-Homestead-Nov-NNS-Kyle-Busch-in-Victory-Lane.jpg" alt="Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota, celebrates in Victory Lane after winning Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series and the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, his 30th win in 173 NASCAR Nationwide Series races.
Finishing Position: 1st

What are you thinking after winning the race and the championship?

“It’s been a while since that’s been done. I don’t mean to be selfish, but that’s the way for these guys to go out. They deserve it. This whole team and all these guys that work so hard on this Z-Line Designs Camry. I can’t thank Toyota enough, I can’t thank Z-Line, NOS Energy Drink, the Nationwide Series, thank all the fans – not just here in Homestead, but across NASCAR’s nation here. Of course Jim (Sexton, president and CEO of Z-Line Designs) and Monica (Sexton) are here to help us celebrate tonight and Marquis
Jets, Gillette and everybody that’s been on board and a part of our program this year. This is huge. My mom and dad are here tonight, my brother came up to me before the race knowing that all we had to do was take the green flag – this is cool. I wish I could have been with Kurt (Busch) in 2004 winning the championship. This one here means a whole lot for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) and
everybody at JGR – all the guys that work so hard at building these things, not just in the Nationwide shop, but in the Cup shop, the
fab shop, everybody. Joe and J.D. Gibbs and everybody is here – Norm Miller from Interstate Batteries, it’s just great.”

What were your thoughts with Carl Edwards coming on fresh tires on the last lap?

“It was a little nerving, I knew Carl (Edwards) would be coming with fresh tires – he was really fast. I was hoping Jeff Burton could
hold him up long enough to help burn his tires off a little bit before he got free and chased me down. I was just trying to hit my marks every single time. I finally found something, I couldn’t find it all race long and in the broadcast I said I couldn’t find anything.
Finally, with about 40 (laps) to go I found something there and kept running in that lane.

It prevailed and it paid off for us. I was able to keep my momentum going and keep those guys behind me. He bonsaied me there and I wasn’t quite sure if we were going to connect there. What a close race that might have been for the fans to watch and everybody – I’m sure it was exciting on TV knowing Carl (Edwards) and what he did at Kansas last year. Glad he missed us and we were able to come out on top.”

<img src="http://www.catchfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/2009-Homestead-Nov-NNS-Kyle-Busch-drives-with-championship-flag_thumb.jpg" alt="After receiving the checkered flag for winning Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Ford 300, Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota, celebrates by waving the championship flag in the car around Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Fla. (Photo Credit: Jason Smith / Getty Images for NASCAR)

How was tonight’s race for you?

“It was a tough race for sure. We weren’t the best car here for a long time. All the guys made some great race calls, Jason (Ratcliff,
crew chief) and everybody else. That’s why we’re a championship team and that’s why we made it here tonight is because these guys can fight through stuff and we made some adjustments to the car that really brought it to life and I was able to pass those guys on that restart and get up towards the front and lead those laps. When that last caution came out, I knew Carl (Edwards) was going to try to do the same thing that I just did. I was worried that he was going to get back to us.”

Does this championship make running races in all three series worth it?

“It is, it’s definitely worth it. I love being able to race as many vehicles as I can and this championship right here defines all that and
being able to race as many vehicles as I can race and still be able to produce – I feel like a lot of these tracks I’m good at. About every track I’m good at. There’s not really a track that I’m super at and then a track that I’m not that good at. I’m just good at all of them. Being able to do that and work with these guys and make our cars better.”

Where does this rank in your career accomplishments?

“This is the biggest one – this is it. It hasn’t sunk in yet and it probably won’t for a couple of days. Carl (Edwards) told me before the race, ‘When I won the championship it didn’t mean that much to me the day of, but once it got to the following season and you were called champ or reigning champ or whatever, it really means a lot and really hits home.’ Thank Nationwide for the series and for
helping support the series and all they’ve done for us. It’s a great year and it’s a tribute to all these guys. Everybody at JGR (Joe
Gibbs Racing) and all these guys on this team – everybody at the fab shop, the engine shop, chassis shop. These cars are phenomenal and it takes a lot of work in order to get these done. We’ve had a really strong season and those guys behind us had a really strong season as well – it wasn’t that we just barely lucked into this thing. We won it and we won it in good style.”

What does it mean that the last series champion to win the final race was Sam Ard?

“That brings a smile to my face, just the relationship that I’ve had with Sam (Ard) and what I’ve been able to talk to him so far.

That’s the history of this sport – that’s what those guys are all about. Sam (Ard) and I have some records together and I’ve broken some of his and I’ve broken other people’s records, but none of them mean as much as being able to win a race at the season finale and really solidify your championship and put icing on the cake.”

JASON RATCLIFF, crew chief, No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

How does it feel to be a championship crew chief?

“Incredible. When you stop and think about it, it becomes a little bit emotional. To think about what we’re able to do – the blessings
that we’ve been blessed with all season long. Kyle (Busch) and this whole team, what we’ve been able to accomplish as a group. I
don’t know, I don’t have the words for it right now. It’s just awesome to be able to put those goals up there in front of us and go out there and achieve them. We did everything we set out to do and then even more than we expected. I don’t know if we can ever have another season like this, but we’re going to try.”

What can you say about the records that Kyle Busch has broken this season?

“He’s (Kyle Busch) incredible. He deserves every record he broke and his name deserves to by it. We’re just glad that we could be a
part of it. This group of guys, I’ve been working with this group for more than four years now and they just never quit. They just keep on, keep on, keep on. We kind of challenge each other. Kyle (Busch) challenges us when we finish second and then we challenge him in situations like tonight where we make a decent call and get him out front and then he’s got to step up on the wheel and show what he’s all about.”

JOE GIBBS, team owner, Joe Gibbs Racing

What does it mean to win the Nationwide championship?

“I think these are things that — the great things in life are the memories that you have and that you don’t forget, and I remember
standing out one time after a Super Bowl, and I turned to Charles Manning, and he said to me, the thrill was getting here, everything
that you had to do to get here, all the times you’ve fought, and you have a wreck, you have this, you have that, things that happen. The thing I told Kyle before we started, to me what impresses me is this car ran great all year. I mean, super all year, and we went all the way to the last race before we could win the championship. So it shows you how hard this is.”

J.D. GIBBS, president, Joe Gibbs Racing

What does this championship mean for your team?

“This is such a big deal for us and these are so hard to come by. I think Nationwide, Cup – it’s just a blessing for us. To watch Kyle
(Busch) and the way he worked through the season and worked with Jason (Ratcliff, crew chief) and all the guys coming together -
that’s a big deal. For us, we’ll celebrate this and this one is going to last quite a while.”

What has Kyle Busch learned about winning championships?

“What he’s kind of learned over here, we’ve taken a lot of seconds, a lot of thirds – they’re not fun to take. On the Cup side, that’s
taking your fifths, your 10ths, and you just learn that when you’re running for a championship there’s certain things that are required
there.”

No. 20 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Toyota Camry

JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 GameStop Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

Finishing Position: 4th

How was tonight’s race for you?

“It was a rough one. We weren’t good enough to win by no means. We got out in the lead for a little bit, but I knew we weren’t good enough to be up there. We finished fourth and that’s where we ran. I think that’s where we should have run. I felt like there at the end when the leaders pitted and we stayed out, I said, ‘We ain’t going to win the way we are so let’s go for the gold and try something different.’ That didn’t work for us so then we got the last caution and we tried to go for the gold again and get some new tires. My race car just wasn’t fast enough, we were digging hard. Everyone did a great job, just missed it by a little bit. Carl (Edwards) and Kyle (Busch) were really the best cars, 29 (Jeff Burton) was really good too. We’ll take it. We ran fourth, we finished fourth so it is what it is.”

Denny Hamlin

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 GodSpeaks.com Toyota Camry, CJM Racing

Finishing Position: 5th

How good was your race car tonight?

“We just had a crack in the header right there when we were trying to get our lap back and it just wore through and killed our
horsepower. All in all it is still a great day for us. I felt like we had something for those guys but that horsepower loss that we had
through the exhaust it really hurt us there towards the end.”

What happened when you got into the back of Brad Keselowski?

“Yeah, the sun was real bad at that point and I really couldn’t see a whole lot. I think the fans right there, they got their money’s worth today.”

What was your plan at the beginning of the race?

“I was just trying to worry him (Brad Keselowski) to death and force him into a mistake and that’s what he did. As soon as I got
behind him he drove in really, really deep and I said, ‘He’ll never make the corner.’ And he ended up getting into the wall. To me it’s
a victory for all of the guys who he’s taken out over the last 10 weeks. There’s a lot of guys — I was out there and a lot of guys took swipes at him and missed today so to be honest with you I’m surprised he was even able to drive it in.”

Are you disappointed with the penalty that NASCAR gave you?

“No, not at all. That’s the thing, if you do something obvious and blatant which I did you would expect a penalty and I’ll be honest
with you I thought it was going to be two laps. So one lap I wasn’t feeling too bad about. I knew we could come back from it and our car was still in one piece. That’s the thing, I wouldn’t try to cause harm to anyone and I knew spinning him (Brad Keselowski) at the point that I was that he wasn’t going to get hurt and his car wasn’t going to get hurt. I just wanted to make his day a little bit tougher.”

How did your car handle during the race?

“It was a long day. We fought and we fought to try to get it and those long green-flag runs just really hurt us to getting the track
position that we needed. Luckily we had a caution at the end that helped with that and we just had too many issues. That mechanical failure with the headers that cracked just killed our horsepower. So when we needed all of the horsepower that we needed at the end it just couldn’t keep up with those guys.”

(Photo Credit: Jason Smith/Getty Images for NASCAR)

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (November 21, 2009) – Kyle Busch clinched the NNS driver’s championship and his first career NASCAR title when his No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Camry took the green flag in Saturday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Once the race started, the Las Vegas-native proved he wasn’t just satisfied with winning the driver’s title by starting the race. Busch led a race-high 73 laps at the Florida track en route to victory lane in the series season-finale.

It marks the first time a Camry racer has won a NASCAR driver’s title since Toyota joined
Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series competition at the start of the 2007 season. Along with Busch’s driver’s title, Toyota has earned manufacturer’s championships in the Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) this season. Previously, Toyota won the NNS manufacturer’s championship in 2008 and the NCWTS manufacturer’s championship three times (2006, 2007 and 2008). Tundra racers Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008) also captured the NCWTS driver’s crowns.

Busch ended the year 210 points ahead of second-place Carl Edwards to capture his first career NASCAR championship and the second straight NNS owner’s title for JGR. A title- contender throughout the 2009 season, the Las Vegas-native led the NNS point standings since the Phoenix race in April. The 24-year-old driver has recorded nine NNS victories this season — winning events at California (Feb. 21), Texas (April 4), Richmond (May 1), Nashville (June 6), N.H. (June 27), St. Louis (July 18), Charlotte (Oct. 16), Texas (Nov. 7) and Miami (Nov. 21).

“It feels awesome to clinch the championship for Toyota, Z-Line Designs and NOS Energy Drink,” said Busch. “But, I’ve also got to thank all of the guys on the No. 18 team for what they do and the hours they spend — Jason (Ratcliff, crew chief) reading the books and the computer and going through all the notes. There are a lot of guys on this team that really deserve it. They work hard. The No. 20 team earned the owner’s championship last year and now that the No. 18 car has got a championship, everybody in the whole Gibbs shop is championship-worthy. It’s pretty cool.”

At California in February, Busch made NASCAR history by becoming the first driver to win two national touring series races on the same day at one track — capturing the checkered flag in the Nationwide Series race after visiting victory lane in the Truck Series earlier that day. His sweep of Texas in 2009 enabled Busch to become the first racer to win four consecutive NNS events at the Fort Worth track.

In 35 starts this season, Busch recorded a series record 25 top-fives and 30 top-10 finishes. Among his top-five results were 20 finishes of first or second, including a streak of 10 races (June 6 to Aug. 8 ) where he posted 10 consecutive top-two finishes — breaking Jack Ingram’s 1983 NNS record for most consecutive first or second-place finishes in series history.

Busch also made NASCAR history at Kansas (Oct. 3) where he broke the NNS record for laps led in a single season, which was previously held by Sam Ard with 2,127 laps led in 1984. Busch ended the year with 2,698 laps led.

Along with nine victories, Busch also recorded three pole positions in 2009 — at Texas (April 14), Nashville (June 6) and Dover (Sept. 26).

Busch’s championship comes in his second year — and first full season — driving a Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing in NNS competition. In 65 career NNS starts behind the wheel of a Camry, Busch has amassed 19 wins, seven poles, 43 top-fives, 50 top-10 results and has led 4,631 laps. Since 2004, he has 30 career series wins and currently ranks fourth in all-time series victories.

“We are extremely proud of Kyle Busch and everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing for what they’ve accomplished in the Nationwide Series during the past two years,” said Lee White, president and general manager of TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “Kyle has performed at an exceptional level since he first stepped into a Camry last season and was able to win a championship in just his second year with Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota. Along with Kyle and everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing, we also need to recognize everyone at TRD for all their hard work and dedication.”

In 2009, Camry drivers won 15 races and captured 13 pole positions.

FORD 300

NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE

AT HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2009

· Mike Bliss clinched the 2009 WIX Filters Lap Leader Award in tonight’s Ford 300. Bliss captured WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in six events this season. He led eight times in eight races for a total of 197 laps. In 178 NASCAR Nationwide Series races, Bliss has led 29 times for 579 total laps.

· Bliss finished the season fifth in the series championship standings.

· Bliss scored one win, seven top-five and 15 top-10 finishes this season. He won race No. 11 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (Concord, N.C.), the second win of his career. Both of Bliss’ victories have come at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (his other win came there in the 2004 fall race).

Mike Bliss

· BLISS QUOTES: DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START TO DESCRIBE THE 2009 SEASON?

“It was the highs and lows. We won Charlotte and had some good runs, we had runs and then I was left without a ride sitting there on a Monday trying to figure out what I was going to do. Just did a couple start and parks to maybe stay in the top-10 in points. I drove a lot of cars, met a lot of people, it was kind of fun. It was actually a fun year the way it’s ending now. I never thought I’d be in the situation I am here kind of knotted up a little bit about trying to stay in the top-five.”

ARE YOU PLEASED WITH THE YEAR THAT YOU’VE HAD?

“Oh yeah and really I couldn’t have done it without driving the CJM car, the 11 Nationwide car. I had some good finishes and some good runs with them and that’s what really helped me out a lot. Without them I probably wouldn’t be here today in this situation.”

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING NEXT YEAR?

“No. We don’t have anything. I don’t have anything. There are some teams I’m talking to.”

Jason Keller was the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race in tonight’s Ford 300. Keller led once for three laps and claimed the honor for the second time in 2009. He has now led 42 times 1,087 laps in 347 career superspeedway starts. Keller was credited with a 13th-place finish.

Denny Hamlin Quick Facts:

- NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Denny Hamlin returns to CJM Racing for the Nationwide Series event at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Fla., this weekend. He will make his third start in the No. 11 Toyota.

- Hamlin had two good runs in the No. 11 car at Watkins Glen and Michigan earlier in the 2009 season. In both races, he was a contender for the win until mechanical issues hampered his strong run.

- Hamlin has started a total of six Nationwide races in the 2009 season, earning two poles (Richmond and Phoenix). He has also started all 35 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races and one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races in 2009.

- The 28-year-old Midlothian, Va., native has one top-5 finish and two top-10 finishes in four career Nationwide starts at Homestead. In four Sprint Cup starts at Homestead, Hamlin has two top-5 finishes and two top-10 finishes.

CJM Racing Quick Facts:

- GodSpeaks.com makes its debut as the primary sponsor of the No. 11 Toyota this weekend. GodSpeaks.com started as an anonymous billboard campaign promoting quotes attributed to God. In its first year, the campaign grew from nine billboards in South Florida to 10,000 billboards in 200 U.S. cities, with the common goal of creating a spiritual climate and getting people to think about a relationship with God. In addition to furthering the billboard campaign, GodSpeaks.com offers resources, testimonials, downloads and other support services. Visit GodSpeaks.com to learn more.

- CJM Racing looks to cap off its late-season surge with another strong run at the season finale. At the team’s last race on Nov. 14 at Phoenix, Mike Bliss drove the No. 11 Toyota to an 8th-place finish for CJM’s 11th top-10 finish of the season. The finish boosted the team up to 15th place in the owner point standings.

- The 2009 season marks the second season CJM Racing is competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series full-time. The team transitioned to Toyota Camrys in 2009 and shares a technical alliance with Joe Gibbs Racing. The partnership formed late last year allows the teams to share technical information as well as research and development.

- CJM Racing will bring a brand-new chassis (#018) to Homestead.

- The Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway will air LIVE on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, Nov. 21st.

Driver Denny Hamlin on Racing the No. 11 GodSpeaks.com Toyota:

“Everyone at CJM is working hard, always looking for ways to make their cars better and I’ve enjoyed being a part of that. They are definitely racers and that is why they are right there each week, running in the top 10. I hope we can put up a good result this weekend and end this season on a high note. I know everyone at CJM is looking forward to a big year in 2010.”

Driver Denny Hamlin on Homestead:

“I am looking forward to getting back into the #11 with CJM this weekend at Homestead. It’s a track that can be tough to figure out but I feel like it’s a track that I am consistently feeling more comfortable at and that is leading to better finishes.”

Their eighth-place finish during Saturday’s Able Body 200 at the one-mile Phoenix (Ariz.) International Raceway gave them their fourth consecutive top-10 finish.

The team once again was fast since unloading on Friday morning. Similar to Memphis, Phoenix is a flat, one-mile oval, and the team was confident of having a good weekend. Bliss had the second-fastest car in the first practice and, again, was quick in the final session. The team didn’t make a qualifying run, but was third best on the lap tracker making them a threat for the race. Bliss qualified eighth Saturday morning.

Over the past month CJM Racing has been instrumental in attempting to get Bliss fifth in the championship point standings by year’s end. The team’s three consecutive top-10 finishes (2, 4, 10) with Bliss put him in great position to take over the fifth spot leaving Phoenix.

The charge was on early after Bliss moved from eighth to third on lap 20 and again sat in the top-five for the first 55 laps. The team had their first stop after the event’s second caution and helped with some handling adjustments. Bliss was racing comfortably in the top-six when two consecutive cautions slowed the event. The first was for the competitor Bliss is challenging in the points championship. Justin Allgaier cut a tire, opening the door for Bliss to capitalize. The next caution was for a hard wreck involving three cars, including Paul Menard taking a hard hit into the frontstretch wall and forcing a red-flag period. Menard was not injured.

The next restart Bliss was forced low into the grass and suffered front fender damage. As a result, Bliss slid back to 11th and was now in heavy traffic. Track position is always critical, and now the team had to battle through dirty air attempting to move back up through the field. The next 50 laps Bliss raced between 10th and 11th as the race went green for its longest stretch. Just after lap 150 the caution came out and Bliss came down pit road with the rest of the leaders. The team did quick service and entered the track back in 10th hoping to make a run in the final stages.

On the ensuing restart, a group of cars in front of Bliss came together and he became an innocent victim when contact cut the left rear tire of the RIDEMAKERZ Toyota. The Paul Wolfe-led crew went to work on pit road and Bliss went back on the track, and with 25 laps left in the race Bliss was back in 10th battling Steven Wallace. Bliss moved into ninth and CJM Racing was staring down another top-10 result.

Bliss picked off Kyle Busch for eighth and that seemed to be the lucky number for CJM Racing all weekend. The team collected their fourth straight top-10 finish with Bliss and helped move Bliss into fifth heading into the season-ending race Saturday at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“These guys give me great cars and it has been great racing for them,” said Bliss. “I can’t thank them enough for calling and have me get into this car. This team is really, really strong. Paul (crew chief Paul Wolfe) is a great leader and these guys are fun to be with. We had a good day for RIDEMAKERZ and I hope we made them proud again.”
