Winfield Motorsports To Run Toyota In 2012

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 17, 2011) – Winfield Motorsports announced today that they are switching manufacturers. The team, currently fielding Dodge entries will be fielding Toyota’s for their 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams.

“Our plans are to run full time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, with a partial NASCAR Sprint Cup Series effort next year” said CEO/principal partner Robert Winfield. “Winfield Motorsports looks forward to working with TRD/Toyota Motorsports who will be supplying technical and engineering support for our programs in an effort to compete at the highest level.”

Winfield Motorsports LLC was established in 2011 fielding the #27 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team will be announcing sponsorship and the driver lineup in the coming weeks.
