LOUDON, N.H. (June 27, 2010) -- Furniture Row Racing driver Regan Smith battled adversity throughout Sunday's Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, finishing 33rd in the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.
Starting 18th, Smith encountered early trouble when his No. 78 Chevrolet suffered a broken right-front wheel following the first pit stop on Lap 40 of 301.
"We could barely keep up with speed and were never able to recover because of the broken right-front wheel," said Smith, who was driving with a custom-fitted splint for a fractured left wrist.
