Racing in Music City: Going for the Gibson Guitar

- Eric McClure will be competing in his 145th NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend and his 11th at Nashville Superspeedway.

- In 10 Nationwide Series starts, the 32-year-old driver has completed 87.9% of the laps and has an average finish of 29.8

- The driver recorded his best finish (22nd) at the speedway in 2009 and has been running at the end of eight of the 10 races.

- The team will utilize a new chassis this weekend.š It was previously a Red Bull chassis in the Sprint Cup Series.

Eric McClure’s Pre-Race quotes:

“After our last two finishes, we’ve fallen a bit in owners points and lost our cushion. We need some good luck this weekend and a good run. Nashville is a great facility and I hope the fans come out and support the Nationwide Series on Saturday.”
