Matt Kenseth led a race-high 78 laps and teammate Greg Biffle was strong all day, as Roush Fenway finished third and fifth in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Race at Talladega Superspeedway; the pair finished third and fifth on the day. With the finish, Roush Fenway leaves Talladega first and second in the Sprint Cup point standings, with Biffle holding a seven-point advantage over Kenseth.
Kenseth and Biffle restarted first and second on the races’final restart on a green-white-checkered finish. The duo got out to a big lead,but Biffle was unable to stay tucked up behind Kenseth as the field caught up. Still, the pair was able to hang up for the top-five finishes.
