Hess Racing Renews Sponsorship with USARacing Pro Cup Series

Concord, NC. (March 18, 2010) – USARacing officials announced today that Hess Racing, a long-time supporter of the Pro Cup Series, has renewed its contingency sponsorship role for the 2010 season.

“We are pleased to have Hess Racing back in 2010,” states Jimmy Wilson, Vice President and Series Director. “Hess has been with us for a long time and we appreciate the company’s devotion to the Pro Cup Series. They provide a top-of-the-line chassis to our teams. Hess Racing is a true asset to the Pro Cup Series and we look forward to continuing this long-standing relationship well into the future.”

Located in Mooresville, NC, Hess Racing Products is now in its 33rd year of operation and builds cars for eleven different series. Hess has partnered with USARacing Pro Cup Series championship drivers Bobby Gill, Clay Rogers, Jason Sarvis and Michael Rich and lay claim to having the best record in Pro Cup Series history earning over 70% of all top 10 finishes.

“The Pro Cup Series makes up over half of our business,” says Billy Hess, Owner/ President of Hess Racing. “Our cars have won over 275 races and eight championships in the Series. We have a long, rich, history with the Pro Cup Series and its competitors and we’re happy to be a part of its past, present, and future.”

Since forging a relationship with the Pro Cup Series in 1997, Hess Racing’s involvement and sponsorship has evolved through the years. Hess has built chassis for the Series’ competitors since the early days. In 2003 the company also began providing a parts truck at the track and was named one of the Official Parts Supplier to the Series. In 2010, these components are still in place. The only difference is that the parts truck has been replaced with a larger rig to maintain the demands of the teams at the track.
