CONCORD, N.C. (May 27, 2010) – If you’ve always liked the intense, heated excitement of short-track racing, you can now follow the USAR Pro Cup Series from anywhere in the world thanks to the USARacing Radio Network, which will broadcast each event live via the Internet.

Beginning with the May 29 Hampton Virginia 250 at Langley Speedway, veteran broadcaster Gene Crane will deliver the excitement of the series “Where Real Racing Lives” as the drivers rub sheet metal and battle fender-to-fender for the victory. The tight, tough 0.395-mile oval was the site of last year’s four abreast finish in which eventual series champion Clay Rogers emerged the victor.

To gain access to the Internet broadcast, go to www.usarprocup.com and click on the link under “next event.” That will take you to the USAR Pro Cup Series Internet radio broadcast. During the broadcast, fans may use the chat forum to discuss the race. Live updates may also be obtained on the USAR Pro Cup Website.

Heading into the season’s fifth race, three-time series champion Rogers, from Mooresville, N.C., possesses a 54-point advantage over Springfield, Mo., native John Gibson. Abingdon, Va., driver Caleb Holman, who has won half of the season’s first four races, trails Rogers by 60 points.

Saturday’s USAR Pro Cup Series action begins at noon with qualifying at 4:30 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to meet the drivers during an autograph session at 5:45 p.m. The May 29 race begins at 7 p.m.

The USARacing Pro Cup Series, formerly Hooters Pro Cup, is owned by Interstate Investment Group and is based in Concord, N.C. IIG is comprised of Jack McNelly, Gary Kale, Carl Hubbard, Chip Lofton and Larry Camp, who serves as the managing partner.
