2014 NSCS Pure Michigan 400 Starting Lineup

Tilton/Getty Images Friday evening at Michigan International Speedway, and for the second consecutive weekend, Jeff Gordon - with a new qualifying track record of 206.558mph - captured the pole for Sunday's Pure Michigan 400. Gordon, who broke Kevin Harvick's June MIS qualifying track record of 204.557mph, received his second series pole of the 2014 season, his seventy-sixth series career pole and his sixth series pole at Michigan International Speedway. Starting on the outside pole in second with a qualifying lap speed of 206.381mph, will be Joey Logano, and he will be followed by Carl Edwards (206.115mph) starting third, Brian Vickers (205.685) fourth and Brad Keselowski (205.644) starts fifth.
