The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series veteran, who had started every race in the series since 2004 was in danger of not racing Friday night at the Chicagoland Speedway after the team he was driving for this season suspended operations earlier in the week.
In less than forty-eight hours, SS Green Light Racing General Manager Bobby Dotter was able to put together a deal to have David drive the team’s ASI Limited No. 21 at Chicago and keep both his consecutive race streak alive and hold his position in the top ten in the 2010 point standings.
