News and Notes:
- The Lakeland, Florida native will be making his 31st NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, October 22nd.
- This will be Fontaine’s second NCWTS race at Talladega Superspeedway. In last year’s NCWTS race here he started 6th and finished 19th. He was leading the race before running out of gas on the restart after a long caution with three laps to go.
What he expects this year at Talladega Superspeedway:
“We got the truck back from it being wrecked at Daytona and got it back together. It is supposed to be as fast as it was. We have been really good at the Superspeedways, but we have run out of gas and the crashes, so we are just going to try to get a good finish.
I am looking forward to the whole weekend. Qualifying well, hopefully, trying to find a partner to draft with, and maybe get up there to the front and see if we can win.”
