2011 NNS Royal Purple 300 Race Results

With momentum from last week's sweep at Bristol, and a tire gamble on pit road today, Kyle Busch captures the victory in the NNS Royal Purple 300 at Auto Club Speedway. This was Busch's 3rd series win of the 2011 season, his 46th series career win, his 91st NASCAR national series win, and his 5th series win at Auto Club Speedway. Pole sitter Carl Edwards (who was running down the leader but ran out of laps) finished 0.713 seconds behind Busch for second, and was followed by Kevin Harvick finishing third, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fourth and Elliott Sadler finishing in the fifth position.
