Overcoming Engine Miss, Casey Wyatt Brings Home a Top 10 in his Season Opening Event

Newport News, VA- This past Saturday Casey Wyatt and his crew returned to Late Model Stock Car competition at Langley Speedway knowing that they had to find the “gremlin” living in the engine of their Chevy Monte Carlo’s powerhouse. Testing throughout the week had been frustrating as the team struggled to find the source of an engine miss that no one could figure out. Pre-race test sessions proved to be just as challenging when the miss persisted. Car owner Wayne Wyatt and crew worked effortlessly all day changing carburetors, ignition coils, and rechecking wiring before Casey made his qualifying effort.
