(November 23, 2009) – The 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series
season has concluded and rookie Michael Annett has claimed tenth in points
in his first full season in the series. Annett clinched tenth in the point
race following the season finale Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“We couldn’t have achieved this top-10 goal without our sponsors. They
make it possible for us to come to the track and compete each week, and
the support of Pilot Travel Centers, HYPE Energy, Germain.com, Northland
Oil, Ventrilo, Lumber Liquidators, Oakley and Bell has been a big part in
making this No. 15 team as strong as it is,” said Annett, “I’m
extremely excited about our accomplishments this season, and look forward
to the 2010 season.”

Annett tallied four top-10, ten top-15 and 21 top-20 finishes this season
with his best finish being at Auto Club Speedway where he drove through
the checkered flag in sixth to earn awards for Raybestos Rookie of the
Race, Mobil 1 Performance Driver of the Race and Featherlite Most Improved
Driver.

As a Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate this season, Annett ended his
rookie Nationwide Series season third in Raybestos Rookie of the Year
contender standings, only 44 points behind the leader. He earned Raybestos
Rookie of the Race honors at five races this season including his seventh
place finish at Gateway International Raceway, eighth place finish at
Bristol Motor Speedway, 14th place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway, 13th
place finish at Dover International Speedway and sixth place finish at
Auto Club Speedway.

This season’s Raybestos Rookie class proved to be talented with three
rookies, including Annett, finishing in the top-10, an accomplishment
which hasn’t been done since 2005 when the trio of Carl Edwards, Denny
Hamlin and Reed Sorenson completed the task.

Michael Annett

“To be compared to such distinguished drivers as Carl Edwards, Denny
Hamlin and Reed Sorenson is an honor. They’ve come a long way since
their days as rookies in the Nationwide Series, and I hope that I can
follow along the same path as I progress through my racing career,” said
Annett.

“A lot goes into making a team work well together and I’ve been lucky
to have a dedicated, hard working group of guys behind me this season. I
can’t thank the Germain family, Mike Hillman Sr., my crew chief Ryan
Fugle and all my crew members enough. I’ve come full circle since my
first Nationwide Series start with the team last year at Homestead. I’m
very proud of our team and appreciate all their hard work”, said Annett.

The Copart Tundra chassis was loose and the changes he and the crew decided to make to correct it cost track position. Bodine fell as far back as 22nd in the running order before fighting back to finish fifth, earning his 11th top-five finish in the 25-race season.

“Tonight’s race really goes with the theme of Germain Racing. We never give up. We came in and adjusted the truck, which took some time. We fought back to regain the track position and put the Copart Tundra back in the top ten before the last caution,” said Bodine.

The Copart Tundra had been a little loose in practice but got worse when the green flag waved the 36-truck field into action on Friday night for the 25th and final race of the 2009 season.

“We were really loose – a lot of guys were loose tonight and the Copart Tundra was no exception. Mike Hillman Jr. (crew chief) and the Copart Tundra pit crew made some adjustments and some great pit stops. It was still too loose but I was able to drive it. I adjusted my line and found something. Before that last caution came out we were really fast,” explained Bodine.

Three short laps before the race was to have ended, a final caution brought many of the race leaders to pit road for fresh tires. The stage was set for a green-white-checkered shootout for the finish and Bodine used the opportunity to get another top-five finish for the Copart Tundra.

“We took two tires and pumped up the air pressure. We pumped up the right front just a little too much and made the truck push, but all in all it was a great race for this Copart Tundra team,” said Bodine.

Todd Bodine finished the 2009 racing season fourth in Truck Series championship standings. The result comes from a total team effort, that worked through a generous assortment of struggles to go along with the two wins and one pole award earned this year.

“The middle of this season was kind of rough on everyone, but this team stuck together and stuck it out. We started this season with a win in Daytona and no sponsor. Copart came on board, with Ventrilo and then Lumber Liquidators came back for a few races and we made it through. This is a resilient race team,” said Bodine.

Germain Racing first raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2004, running a partial-season schedule. The team has competed full-time since 2005, and has scored a top-five finish in the series championship each year, including one Truck Series title win.
Finishing Position: 4th

Are you happy with the way you ended your 2009 season tonight?

“What a way to end a year with this Strutmasters.com Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra. It’s just awesome to end a year on this note right here. We looked to stay out and we didn’t have anything to lose. We were gambling to see if we could get us another victory but I tried to get the tires as clean as I could and I spun them a little bit. A rookie mistake on my part. I’ve got to thank Chad Kendrick (crew chief) and everybody on this team. They do a great job. From where we started at Daytona not knowing if we could make it past Martinsville. Tom DeLoach (Red Horse Racing, team owner) gave me an awesome opportunity to be here. Strustmasters.com, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota — I can’t thank those guys enough. I’m
looking forward to next season.”

How did your truck handle during the race?

“It was good for us. Our Strutmasters.com Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra was good right off the lift gate. We made a gamble there at the end to stay out thinking some people would stay out with us but everybody came in. Chad Kendrick (crew chief) did a great job. The whole team — considering where we started at in Daytona not knowing that I could make it past Martinsville. I don’t know where we ended up in points but we had a good finish and got us a win this year.”

Timothy Peters (Photo Credit: John Harrelson/Getty Images for NASCAR)

Why did those trucks beat you on that final restart?

“They had fresh tires. Everybody came down pit road and we were just the lonely sole out there. But all in all it was a
good day. I’m just ecstatic. When we joined Red Horse Racing we were 19th in drivers points and I think we ended up
around seventh. It’s been an awesome year and I’m ready to go to Daytona.”

What happened on the final restart?

“When you race with these guys you learn a lot and (Kevin) Harvick is the best of the best. I cleaned my tires off but
evidentially it wasn’t enough. I made a rookie mistake and spun them too much, but he had new tires and was going to go
by us in turn one anyway.”

Todd Bodine

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 5th

What happened from your viewpoint on the ‘green-white-checkered’ finish?

“The truck series usually is pretty crazy with the green-white-checkered. Before the caution came out we had the fastest
truck on the track. We were just so far back, we were running seventh, so we decided to come in, put two tires on and gain
a little track position. We pumped the right front tire up a little too high and it pushed too much in the last two laps. We
still gained two spots. Copart and everybody, I really appreciate what they’ve done for us this year in getting us through the
year with their sponsorship. It’s typical Germain Racing — we just never give up. We started the season with a win at
Daytona with no sponsor on the truck and we made it through the season with the help of Copart, Ventrillo and Lumber
Liquidators. It was a tough year, but we got through.”

What were you adjusting in your truck when you lifted the hood halfway through the race?

“The first set of tires, we corded the inside pretty bad. I think it was really the right call to come in and adjust it so we
didn’t blow it out. We didn’t need to finish in the back – we needed to keep the points up to finish fourth in points. It really
didn’t help it drive any better, but it definitely saved the tire and kept us in front of Johnny (Sauter) for fourth in points.”

What happened from your viewpoint on the ‘green-white-checkered’ finish?

“That was crazy and that cost us a spot right there. I didn’t know if I was supposed to come on pit road or not. Just had a
lot of confusion going on with the radio right there. We had about a fourth or fifth-place truck and we lost a couple spots
right there at the end. We’ve got a good race team and we’ve got a lot to build on. I’m proud to be driving a Toyota Tundra
and I can’t wait till Daytona.”

Mike Skinner

How was your season overall?

“It was a great season and I really felt like I would have liked to have finished a little better last night. I thought that we
might have had a little better truck. Eric (Phillips, crew chief) did a good job, the pit crew did a fantastic job – I don’t think
the driver did that good of a job tonight. I kept overdriving the corners and trying to get grip that just wasn’t there. Tim
Fedewa did a great job spotting, he kept trying to get me to slow down in the corner. When I would slow down getting in
the corner, I would run really good laps and we had a really good truck. Got to work on the driver a little bit with these tires
that are like this. Goodyear does a great job and I know they’ll get us better stuff next year.”

Todd Bodine, a native of Chemung, NY, attended nearby Franklin High School and calls Martinsville Speedway his ‘other’ home track. The runner-up finish was a great result for Bodine and the Germain Racing crew.

“The Lumber Liquidators Tundra was really good. We struggled a little in first practice which was short from the rain. We came back for second practice and Mike Hillman Jr. and Tom Ackerman made some great changes. They got the Lumber Liquidators Tundra to turn in the middle and that’s what you want at Martinsville. It was a great day for the team with great pit stops,” said Bodine, who also noted that the pink helmet he wore during the 200-lap race will be back in action at Talladega to continue promote awareness of breast cancer during October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Bodine, who qualified eighth for the Kroger 200, tried to catch race winner and fellow Tundra driver Timothy Peters in the closing laps, but could not. Still, he’s very proud of the team’s second-place effort as well as proud of Peters for getting the win.

“We had a good day in the Lumber Liquidators Tundra. After we stopped for tires and I had to come back through to the front, I was doing pretty good taking my time. Then, Ron Hornaday Jr., Colin Braun and Mike Skinner got up behind me and I had to go. I had to use up the right front a little more than I wanted to. Still it was a great race for the Lumber Liquidators Tundra and I’m very happy for Timothy Peters and his owner Tom DeLoach for their win for Toyota today,” said Bodine.

Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. is pleased with the result, though he’ll have to wait until next season to challenge again for a short-track victory for Germain Racing.

“Everyone worked very hard for this race today. The result was a very competitive Lumber Liquidators Tundra with a strong second-place finish. I’m proud of everyone on this team. This finish isn’t a win, but it reflects a job very well done here at Martinsville,” said Hillman Jr.

Next Saturday, the No. 30 Tundra races at Talladega Superspeedway. Todd Bodine, who has moved up to fourth place in the Truck Series driver’s standings, will race for three wins in a row at Talladega. A win in Talladega would mean that the No. 30 team has collected five straight wins between Talladega and sister track Daytona International Speedway. Don’t miss a lap of the Talladega excitement – tune in to SPEED.

Germain Racing’s No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra has wins at the biggest track, the intermediate tracks and a win at a one-mile that drives like a short track, but so far no short-track victory. Todd Bodine, driver of the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra has led laps in each of NASCAR’s top three divisions at Martinsville and has a best Truck Series career finish of second (2007).

“At Martinsville, you’ve got to have everything to win. You’ve got to have horsepower to get down the straight-aways, you’ve got to stop well getting into the corners and turn through the middle of the corners and have good forward bite. And, you’ve got to have great pit stops. We’ve been close at Martinsville. We’ve probably had the best truck there and we hope we can capitalize on what we’ve learned when we race the Lumber Liquidators Tundra in Lumber Liquidators’ home state of Virginia this weekend,” said Bodine.

A win for Bodine, the youngest of three NASCAR racing brothers from Chemung, NY, would be a huge victory for him and for the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra team.

“I’ve been going to Martinsville since I was about eight years old. I’ve been there as a fan in the stands, as a crew member in the pits, to change tires…Martinsville is the closest thing I have here that is a home track. I grew up there. Knowing the history the track has and the history it has with my family would make winning there very special,” said Bodine.

Crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. says the emotion wouldn’t stop at just the driver.

“As a team we look forward to running the speedways but we work twice as hard on our short track program. We run well, we just need things to fall into place to get the finish we deserve,” said Hillman.

Bodine races the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra Saturday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway. Qualifying is Friday at 4:40 PM Eastern. Racing (200 laps/105.2 miles) begins Saturday at 1:00 PM. (October 13, 2009) – Michael Annett and the No. 15 Germain
Racing team are looking forward to a full week at home in North Carolina
as the Nationwide Series competes at Lowe’s Motor Speedway this week for
the Dollar General 300, where they will be sponsored by Lumber
Liquidators.

As a longtime partner with Germain Racing, Lumber Liquidators has jumped
on board with the team and Annett for the Nationwide Series Dollar General
300. Previously sponsoring Annett’s teammate Todd Bodine in the Truck
Series from 2006 until 2008, Lumber Liquidators will sponsor the No. 15
Lumber Liquidators Toyota Camry at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in addition to
four races for Bodine in the No. 30 in the Truck Series. Team sponsor
Pilot Travel Centers will sport their logo as an associate sponsor on the
rear quarter panels of the No. 15.

“I’m excited have a new sponsor on the No. 15 Toyota Camry for the
Charlotte race,” said Annett, “Lumber Liquidators has been a
continuous supporter of Germain Racing’s truck program, so it’s
exciting to represent them in their first venture into the Nationwide
Series. I’m looking forward to getting a good finish here at home in
North Carolina for both the team and Lumber Liquidators.”

“The Nationwide Series is a natural extension for Lumber Liquidators to
leverage considering our partnership with Todd Bodine and Germain
Racing,” said Tom Sullivan, Lumber Liquidators Chairman and Founder.
“We Look forward to associating ourselves with Michael Annett, a
talented young driver with a bright future in NASCAR.”

Annett currently sits 11th in the Nationwide Series point race with only
37 points separating him from the top-10, and he hopes to improve his
ranking with a good run at Lowe’s. Historically the rookie driver and
his Germain Racing team have proved to be successful at intermediate
tracks, so they’re optimistic for competing on another mile and a half
track for the Dollar General 300.

“Mile and a half tracks are really our specialty,” noted Crew Chief
Ryan Fugle, “Having Lumber Liquidators on the car will make the race at
Charlotte’s mile and a half track even more exciting because together
Germain Racing and Lumber Liquidators have more wins in the truck series
on mile and a half tracks than anyone else. We’re hoping to transfer
that success to the No. 15 Nationwide Series team this weekend. We’ve
had some of our strongest runs at intermediate tracks this season, so
we’ve got confidence for a good finish heading into this week’s
race.”

Trackside events for the Nationwide Series at Lowe’s Motor Speedway
kick-off with practice sessions on Thursday, October 15 from 1:15 p.m.
until 2:50 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Dollar General 300 qualifying
starts at 3:05 p.m. on Friday with the race following at 8 p.m. The Dollar
General 300 can be seen live on ESPN2 starting at 7:30 p.m., and a live
broadcast of qualifying will air on ESPN2 at 3 p.m.

Driver Todd Bodine wheeled the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra around the 1.5-mile circuit at an average speed of 173.371 MPH, earning his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series pole and his second NASCAR pole award at Las Vegas – his first came in the Sprint Cup Series in 2002. Saturday night’s 146-laps of racing at Las Vegas were marked by several wild moments that almost saw the Lumber Liquidators Tundra spin in front of the 35-truck field. The ‘almosts’ were thwarted by Bodine making some nice saves. He finished fourth which made the Lumber Liquidators Tundra the highest finishing Toyota.

“It feels fantastic to get a top-five finish in the Lumber Liquidators Tundra. There were a couple spins tonight that probably should have happened but we were able to save the truck. Nothing fell off the truck, we didn’t get a flat tire or anything like that – and our pit crew had another awesome night on pit road. This has been probably the toughest year of my career. Our performance hasn’t been bad, we’ve just had bad luck and it’s been a hard last few weeks for our team. After what we’ve been through, we’re pretty happy the Lumber Liquidators Tundra has come out of here in fourth,” said Bodine.

Las Vegas marked the third of four races that Bodine and the No. 30 Tundra are sporting the familiar colors and logos of Lumber Liquidators. To mark their return to the Truck Series, Lumber Liquidators ran a special promotion for race fans that began last weekend with the Truck Series race in Loudon and concludes this weekend.

“It’s been great to have Lumber Liquidators back with us for a few races this season. They ran a great promotion for race fans that ends this weekend. Even if they missed the promotion, fans should check out the savings and selection at LLFLOORS.com,” said Bodine.

The Las Vegas 350 was won by Johnny Sauter. Bodine’s fourth-place finish at Las Vegas is his seventh top-five finish of the season. The next race on the schedule is Saturday, October 24th at Martinsville Speedway in the home state of Lumber Liquidators. Martinsville is the last of the four Lumber Liquidators Tundra races for 2009, with Copart returning to the No. 30 Tundra hood for racing action at Talladega Superspeedway.

Germain Racing first competed late in the 2004 season. The Mooresville, N.C.-based team has earned two or more wins in each of its five Truck Series seasons and has earned a Truck Series championship title. The team, formed in 2004, has earned 18 wins– eleven of those have come on tracks specifically 1.5 miles in length. Todd Bodine will steer the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra onto Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a 1.5-mile oval track with 20-degrees of banking in the corners, for Saturday’s Las Vegas 350. Bodine and the No. 30 team will work to maintain their reputation of running at the front of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series field at Las Vegas.

“Las Vegas is a mile and a half, D-shaped oval. Germain Racing runs well on this type of race track. The track surface at Las Vegas is starting to get some age and get worn out a little bit and get some bumps. I’m sure the outside groove will be even better this year than it’s been in the past. I’m looking forward to getting the Lumber Liquidators Tundra on the track this Saturday,” said Bodine.

Germain Racing has earned poles and wins with both truck teams on the mile and a half circuits. No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. explains.

“I don’t know why it is, but our equipment just seems to shine at the mile and a half race tracks. For the No. 30 team, between Todd’s driving style and our setups, it just all seems to work out. One of our most dominating wins was at Las Vegas in 2005. It would be great if we could have that kind of night with the Lumber Liquidators Tundra on Saturday,” said Hillman.

There is a certain energy at the race shop as the team prepares Chassis TRD-124 for racing at Las Vegas—energy that will become confidence at the track.

“When taking a known, winning chassis to the race track, you are confident is in some of the changes you will make at the race track to make the Lumber Liquidators Tundra tighter or looser because you know how the truck will react. This truck has had four great races this year and one was a win. We have an understanding of how this chassis will react,” explained Hillman, who has put this chassis to the test at Dover, Texas, Kentucky and Chicagoland.

Bodine races the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra Saturday evening at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Qualifying is at 6:30 PM Eastern on Saturday, followed by the green flag for 146 laps of racing (219 miles/350K) at 9:30 PM Eastern. Log on to www.LLFLOORS.com and shop Hardwoord Floors For Less with Lumber Liquidators. Tune in Saturday to SPEED and cheer for Bodine in the Lumber Liquidators Tundra!

Sponsor Lumber Liquidators also calls New England home as the company opened its first store in Boston and company chairman Tom Sullivan hails from the region. The No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra has an average running position of 5.5 according to NASCAR’s Loop Data Statistics so the familiar “bumble bee” colored race truck should be easily found at the front of the field in Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in Loudon, N.H.

“We always seem to have a pretty decent setup for the Lumber Liquidators Tundra when we get to New Hampshire. I’ve always run well at the track and I love New England. Racing at Loudon is like going home—I get to see all my friends racing in the Modified’s. Tom Sullivan is from New England, too. It’s a great trip and I hope we can make it special for Lumber Liquidators. I know they have something pretty special planned for the race fans that log on to www.LLFLOORS.com,” said Bodine.

Germain Racing has been competitive at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The team has two top-five finishes in five races there.

“New Hampshire is good track for our race team, but our finishes don’t show the performance level of our team. We’re heading to New Hampshire looking to put the Lumber Liquidators Tundra in contention for the win or a solid finish that reflects our team performance,” said Mike Hillman Jr., crew chief for the Lumber Liquidators Tundra and Bodine.

Race fans at New Hampshire will hear a call to action from Todd Bodine and the No. 30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra crew. The team is looking to generate web activity at a special Lumber Liquidators website, www.LLFLOORS.com

“Lumber Liquidators makes it fun for the fans with different promotions and contests from race to race. When the fans support our sponsors and become loyal customers, it makes them feel like part of the team— it’s a winning situation for everybody involved and we can’t wait to get Lumber Liquidators back to victory lane,” said Bodine. “Lumber Liquidators has a special promotion for race fans that starts on race day at New Hampshire.
