(June 25, 2010) - Officials of Billy Ballew Motorsports (BBM) announced today that Steve Wallace will return behind the wheel of the team’s No. 15 Toyota of Des Moines Toyota Tundra for the July 11th Iowa 200 at Iowa Speedway.

Wallace, driver of the No. 66 5-Hour Energy Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, has driven in two prior NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) events, both for BBM. In his NCWTS debut, Wallace pedaled his way to a fourth-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, followed by a 12th-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway in April.

Wallace, the youngest son of Iowa Speedway’s chief designer and racing legend, Rusty Wallace, has enjoyed success at Iowa in the past. In his two prior appearances there, the younger Wallace won the inaugural ARCA Racing Series event in 2006 and ran among the top-five for the majority of last year’s Nationwide Series event, before being taken out of contention by late-race contact.

“I’m thrilled to go racing with Billy Ballew Motorsports again,” Wallace said. “The Truck Series is a lot of fun and I really enjoy working with the 15 team; we’ve done pretty well in the two races we’ve run together. I want to thank Toyota of Des Moines for coming on board our Tundra. They’re a good friend to motorsports and I appreciate their support. We’ll do our best to get them in victory lane.”

Toyota of Des Moines is no stranger to NASCAR racing. The dealership has sponsored several drivers and has been involved with different racing series. Toyota of Des Moines has previously partnered with Mike Skinner in the NCWTS, Kyle Busch in the NASCAR Camping World West Series and Corey LaJoie in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

About Toyota of Des Moines:

Toyota of Des Moines, in Des Moines, Iowa, is the No. 1 Toyota dealer in the State of Iowa. Many of their customers travel in from Omaha, Nebraska – Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas – Minneapolis, Minnesota – Chicago, Illinois and towns in Iowa like Cedar Rapids, Ames, Iowa City, Cedar Falls, Waterloo, Council Bluffs, Mason City, Ft. Dodge and Spirit Lake.

About Billy Ballew Motorsports:

BBM started competing full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2002 and has had a variety of well known NASCAR drivers over the years. The list includes Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Aric Almirola, Brian Ickler, John Andretti, Kenny Wallace, Paul Menard, Bill Lester, Geoffrey Bodine, Joe Ruttman and a host of others. It was Shane Hmiel who piloted the No. 15 for the 2004 season that brought Billy Ballew his first win at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the team’s 100th start in the NCWTS. Since then Billy Ballew Motorsports has taken 18 more trips to victory lane.

(Dec. 12, 2009) – More than 500 people enjoyed a day of holiday cheer at Infineon Raceway on Saturday at the 5th annual Race to the Holidays Christmas Party.

The raceway hosted 260 Sonoma Valley children and their families at the event, which featured caroling with the Sonoma Valley High School choir, refreshments, face painting, balloon animals and a visit from Santa Claus and two of his elves.

The event, which has attracted more than 1,100 children since its inception in 2005, culminated with Santa Claus presenting each child with a bag full of toys. Children ranged in age from newborns to 17-year-olds.

“It was awesome. When I saw the NASCAR stock car in front, I knew this was going to be fun,” said Ky Wagner, 9, from the Willmar Center for Bereaved Children in Sonoma. “This was my first time here and it was great.”

“It’s fun. It’s nice getting the presents and seeing Santa. It really makes it a special Christmas,” said Gloria Mora-Soto, 9, who has attended the party since its inception in 2005 and is from Friends in Sonoma Helping.

The festive event was held under rainy skies, but all of the children left the raceway with new toys and warm smiles. Following the present distribution, all were treated to a free lunch at the Infineon Raceway Café.

“The boys really enjoy this event in a way that they can’t even express,” said Travis Curtis, staff employee at the Hanna Boys Center. “This is a childhood experience they haven’t all had and it means a lot to them.”

All children who attended the party were pre-registered through eight Sonoma Valley youth groups, including: Hanna Boys Center; La Luz; Teen Parent Program; Valley of the Moon Boys and Girls Club; Valley of the Moon Teen Center; Stand By Me Mentoring; Valley of the Moon Teen Center; and Willmar Center for Bereaved Children.

The raceway received a generous outpouring of support from the community as nearly 700 toys were donated for the party. Some of the drop-off locations included: Sonoma Valley Index Tribune; Sonoma Valley Sun; Gundlach-Bundschu Winery; Schell-Vista Fire Department; Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce; Sonoma Valley Fire Department; AAA; Sorento Imports and The Swiss Hotel. Good Riddance Hauling also donated their time to pick up all donated toys.

(Nov. 23, 2009) – Infineon Raceway distributed more than 5,500 pounds of non-perishable food items to Friends in Sonoma Helping (FISH) and the Salvation Army Vallejo Food Pantry on Monday during the raceway’s 9th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

The amount marked the most Infineon Raceway has distributed in one year since the inception of the food drive in 2000. Infineon Raceway has distributed more than 17,500 pounds of non-perishable food items since 2000.

“I can’t thank Infineon Raceway and everyone else that participated in this food drive enough,” said Sherman Bielfelt, a volunteer for FISH. “This food is critical to the survival of many people, and I know they are very thankful.”

FISH has been serving needy Sonoma Valley residents since 1970, while the Vallejo Food Pantry will serve 100 of the neediest families with Thanksgiving food boxes and will put together another 300-400 boxes of food during the Christmas season.

“Food drives like this help to strengthen our ability to make an impact in the community,” said Capt. Fred Rasmussen, North Bay County coordinator for the Salvation Army. “I would guess this food will serve at least 250 people.”

Infineon Raceway was not alone in its efforts. It was joined in the food drive by four Northern California Mary’s Pizza Shack locations; the Vallejo Convention and Visitor’s Bureau; Sonoma Girl Scouts; Innerstave; Levy Restaurant; tenants of the Infineon Raceway Motor Sports Industrial Park; and Destination RKA and Santa Rosa BMW Triumph in Windsor. Sonoma Gourmet of Cotati also made a generous donation of six pallets of gourmet food items.

P.J. Pedroncelli, 19, who lives in Sonoma and drives in the NASCAR Camping World West Series, also participated in the food drive, representing Pedroncelli Motorsports.

For more information on FISH, please call (707) 996-0111. If you would like to contact the Salvation Army Vallejo Food Pantry directly, call (707) 643-8621.

The 105-inch wheelbase chassis will be approved for ARCA competition at all tracks except the restrictor plate venues of Daytona Int’l Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. The newly approved wheelbase chassis will see action on-track alongside the current 110-inch wheelbase cars at 19 of the series’ 21 races in 2010, with a rules package designed to create parity between the 105- and 110-inch cars. Outwardly, all cars will bear the same sheet metal configuration as the present lineup including Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Impala SS, Dodge Charger, Ford Fusion and Toyota Camry body styles. The ARCA base rules package of 3400 pound, steel-bodied stock cars with corresponding auto manufacturer engine and body configuration will remain in place.

The timing of the approval coincides with the gradual exit of the present-day 105-inch wheelbase chassis from the Nationwide Series. NASCAR has announced the introduction of the Car of Tomorrow (COT) into the Nationwide Series in 2010, beginning with the July race at Daytona Int’l Speedway. By the end of next season, the Nationwide Series is scheduled to have transitioned exclusively to use of the COT for 2011.

“Since the inception of our series in 1953, we’ve kept an open line of communication with NASCAR and others to monitor industry trends,” said ARCA President Ron Drager. “At the time of the evolution of the NASCAR Sprint Cup COT technology, ARCA team owners represented a market for NASCAR team owners to sell the racecars they were cycling out of inventory. We’re positioned to accommodate a similar situation with the NASCAR Nationwide team owners. We’ve invested a great deal of research and interaction into this move with several groups, in particular our ARCA team owners, and we feel this is the right step with the proper timing for everyone involved.”

Currently, the only chassis approved for use in ARCA is the 110-inch wheelbase car, which the series has campaigned exclusively since 1985. ARCA experienced an influx of racecars as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series transitioned to the COT technology in 2007.

The 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX kicks off at Daytona Int’l Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 6, with the 47th running of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200.

PREVIEW: JAMES BUESCHER (NO. 1 MICCOSUKEE RESORT & GAMING CHEVROLET)

VENUE: PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY (1-MILE TRI-OVAL)

CIRCUIT: NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES (RACE 34 OF 35)

DATE: NOVEMBER 14, 2009 (200 LAPS, 200 MILES)

BUESCHER AT PHOENIX: Prior to this weekend’s events, Buescher has made two career starts at Phoenix International Raceway. Last spring (2008), Buescher competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race for Braun Racing, where the 19-year-old started from the 17th position and finished in the 18th position, completing 201 of 202 laps (99.5%). In addition, Buescher has participated in a NASCAR Camping World West Series race during the 2008 season. The Texas native qualified in the 20th position, fought his way towards the front, and came home in sixth-place.

NATIONWIDE SERIES STATS: Through his short but impressive career, Buescher has made seven Nationwide Series starts, six of which came in 2008 for Braun Racing and one for Phoenix Racing last week at Texas Motor Speedway. In these starts, the rookie captured a career-best finish of seventh, in addition to claiming the pole position at Memphis Motorsports Park (October 2008).

DOUBLE DUTY: In addition to driving the No. 1 Miccosukee Resort & Gaming Chevrolet for Phoenix Racing on Saturday afternoon, Buescher will also compete at PIR in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday night. The Raybestos Rookie of the Year Candidate will return to his 2009 full-time effort, piloting the No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford F-150.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION: On Saturday, November 14th, prior to Nationwide Series qualifying, Buescher will join other NNS drivers for an autograph session from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. in Gatorade Victory Lane at PIR. To participate, fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a $5 donation, as all donations will be made to the West Davidson Food Pantry in Davidson, N.C.

DID YOU KNOW?: Buescher made his first career Nationwide Series start at Phoenix International Raceway last spring.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Last week, Buescher, a Texas native who grew up watching and competing at The Great American Speedway!, made his first NASCAR Nationwide Series start of 2009 at Texas Motor Speedway with Phoenix Racing, piloting the No. 1 Miccosukee Resort & Gaming Chevrolet. Although Buescher had an unsatisfactory qualifying lap and fell one lap down early in the race, the teenager and the James Finch-owned team fought back and crossed the finish line with an impressive 11th-place effort.

STAY UP TO SPEED: The Able Body Labor 200 from Phoenix International Raceway will take the green flag this Saturday, November 14th at 4:30 P.M. Eastern. Race coverage will be televised live on ESPN2, beginning at 4 P.M. Eastern, and heard live on select affiliates of PRN Radio and Sirius-XM NASCAR Radio Channel 128, beginning at 4 P.M. Eastern. In addition, SPEED Channel will carry television coverage of both NNS practice sessions, at 11:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Eastern respectively on Friday. Qualifying can also be seen live on SPEED at 12 Noon Eastern on Saturday.

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Phoenix International Raceway): “I’m looking forward to going back to Phoenix and racing in both the Truck Series and Nationwide Series this weekend. I competed in two different races there last year – one in the Camping World West Series and one in Nationwide and hopefully the seat time that I got in both of those races will help me out this time around. Phoenix is such a unique track that your car has to be set-up well to run up front and I’m confident that the guys on the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming Chevrolet team will give me another good piece.”

VENUE: PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY (1-MILE TRI-OVAL)

CIRCUIT: NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES (RACE 24 OF 25)

DATE: NOVEMBER 13, 2009 (150 LAPS, 150 MILES)

BUESCHER AT PHOENIX: Even though this will be his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway, Buescher has made two career starts at the Arizona track. Last spring (2008), Buescher competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event for Braun Racing, where the 19-year-old started from the 17th position and finished in the 18th position, completing 201 of 202 laps (99.5%). In addition, Buescher participated in a NASCAR Camping World West Series race during the 2008 season. The Texas native qualified in the 20th position, fought his way towards the front, and came home in sixth-place.

CHASSIS INFORMATION: This week, crew chief Jamie Jones and the No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford team will unload Circle Bar Racing chassis CB-24. This will be the eighth race for this particular Ford F-150, as Buescher drove it to an 11th-place finish in the spring race at Martinsville Speedway, a fifth-place finish at The Milwaukee Mile, a 20th-place finish at Memphis Motorsports Park, a sixth-place finish at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, a 23rd-place finish at Gateway International Raceway, and most recently a 11th-place finish in the fall race at Martinsville Speedway.

TWENTY-FIVE AND COUNTING: Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 will mark Buescher’s 25th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start. The Raybestos Rookie has competed in every NCWTS race dating back to the season-finale event in Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2008.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR UPDATE: As the NCWTS season has two races remaining, Buescher currently sits third in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year point standings. The youngster is only 14 points behind second-place Tayler Malsam, while first-place Johnny Sauter has pulled away with a 59-point lead.

FINAL COUNTDOWN: Through the first 23 races of the 2009 NCWTS season, Buescher and his No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford team have recorded one top-five finish and three top-10 finishes, along with 13 top-15 efforts. The Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate has completed 92.7% of all laps competed (3449 of 3722). Buescher currently sits in the 14th position in the NCWTS Championship point standings, 115 markers behind 13th-place Tayler Malsam.

DOUBLE DUTY: In addition to driving the No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford for Circle Bar Racing on Friday night, Buescher will also compete at PIR in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday afternoon. The rookie will pilot the No. 1 Miccosukee Resort & Gaming Chevrolet for Phoenix Racing in preparation for 2010’s full-time effort with the James Finch-owned team.

PREVIOUS RACE RECAP: Last week, Buescher returned to his home state of Texas to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ 23rd race of the 2009 season at Texas Motor Speedway, looking for a strong run in front of numerous family and friends. After two productive practice sessions, a top-10 qualifying effort, and a solid beginning of the WinStar World Casino 350, everything seemed to be going the youngster’s way. Unfortunately, Buescher lost the handling of his No. 10 MaxxForce International Ford during the 147-lap race, relegating the rookie to a 17th-place finish.

DID YOU KNOW?: Buescher has captured Raybestos Rookie of the Race Honors four times this season (Martinsville 1, Milwaukee, ORP, Martinsville 2), all of which came in chassis CB-24 – the same Ford F-150 that the Texas native will race this weekend at Phoenix.

STAY UP TO SPEED: The Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix International Raceway will take the green flag this Friday, November 13th at 8:00 P.M. Eastern. Race coverage will be televised live on SPEED, beginning at 7:30 P.M. Eastern, and heard live on select affiliates of MRN Radio and Sirius-XM NASCAR Radio Channel 128, beginning at 7:30 P.M. Eastern. In addition, NCWTS Qualifying can be seen on SPEED, Friday afternoon at 4:30 P.M. Eastern.

Friday is going to be my first race in a Truck there, but any track that we go to, the racing is always competitive and exciting for the fans. I’m sure it will be more of the same for everyone watching in the stands and at home.”

(November 5, 2009) – Kevin Conway and ExtenZe Racing announced today that they will attempt to run all three NASCAR national series races – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series (# 26 ExtenZe Chevrolet) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (# 71 ExtenZe Chevrolet) – at Phoenix International Raceway next weekend. The NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup cars will be available for photos on Saturday, November 7th at 7:45 a.m. CST on the frontstretch at Texas Motor Speedway.

Conway has never raced at Phoenix International Raceway, much less competed in NASCAR’s top three divisions in one weekend, but he is set to attempt to qualify for his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series debut at the one-mile oval. No driver in NASCAR history has ever attempted this feat.

“I’ve never been accused of doing things normally,” said Conway. “To make my Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series debut at a track that I have never even seen is pretty ambitious but I am excited to have this opportunity with ExtenZe. For ExtenZe Racing to pull this together in such a short amount of time is nothing short of a miracle. Everyone on this ExtenZe team is pumped to give it our best shot in Phoenix.”

ExtenZe will appear as Conway’s primary sponsor in all three races. Together they will attempt to compete in 850 miles of racing at Phoenix International Raceway.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 will be televised live on Friday, Nov. 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST on SPEED. The NASCAR Nationwide Series Able Body Labor 200 will follow on Saturday, Nov. 14 on ESPN2 at 4:00 EST with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rounding up the weekend with Sunday’s Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 presented by Pennzoil on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m. EST on ABC.

About Kevin Conway

Conway, a Lynchburg, Va. native, has steadily moved up within the ranks of motorsports from a diverse and successful racing background. He first competed in AMA Motocross at only six years old. His racing career continued on to WKA go-karts, INEX Legend Cars, Super Late Models, ASA, USAC Midgets and Silver Crown, ARCA RE/MAX Series, and the NASCAR Grand National (Camping World) West Series. Conway is currently a NASCAR Nationwide Series regular and, now, is set to make his Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup Series debut.

“We’re very pleased with the Harris Trucking / Cajun Industries Toyota Tundra. It was good. On the chassis dyno and the wind
tunnel, if they tell you anything, they tell you you’ve got a pretty truck. We spent a lot of time with this truck, rubbing on it and
made sure that it not only qualified good, but really, ultimately raced well. So far, the qualifying part is coming true and
hopefully it will race well tomorrow.”

What do you think of the rule changes announced for 2010?

“Thank you. That is it, thank you. It’s been a long time coming. The rule changes, I think NASCAR did a great job in making sure
the teams could feasibly get through the season so I applaud them for that. The pit stop rules that we had where you fuel one time
and then tires on the next, I think it just confused everybody, confused the drivers. I think we opened ourselves up to getting
somebody hurt, whether it be a track worker on the track or crew members on pit road. Going back to the format and now we have
figured out a way to where it’s going to be six people over the wall so that saves us the cost of one person, instead of the Cup or
Nationwide that have seven, so that’s going to help a bunch.

The new engine rule where we have to run a sealed motor every two races instead of every three is going to help a bunch. Really excited about the outlook of the Truck Series going forward and as you mentioned, having been here for as many starts as I’ve had, I’ve seen the Truck Series go through a lot of changes and I applaud NASCAR for making this change.

The double-file restarts, I first saw that in Phoenix in the Camping World West Series back in April and I thought it was just great side-by-side racing. I was excited when it got introduced into the Nationwide and Cup series, but was disappointed that they didn’t do it in the Truck Series around Indianapolis race weekend. Knowing that going forward we’re going to have double-file restarts, I’m excited about that as well. I applaud all their changes. Personally, I think it was a little overdue, I was looking for all these changes about mid-season this year, but glad to see they are taking the initiative to where we
will have them next year.”

MAX PAPIS, No. 13 GEICO Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Starting Position: 3rd

How much are you looking forward to tomorrow’s race with such a good qualifying run?

“The GEICO Toyota was just great — it drove by itself. We did a lot of work to make it a little faster and the guys in the shop,
they’re just amazing. It’s as much of a team effort as it can be. When you come to a place like this I think you need to maximize
the length of the bolt in the truck. I guess they did it all and it’s proven to work. It might have been facilitated a bit by starting in
the back, but you need to put up the number and we did it so we’re happy. This is a big thing for me, especially since it’s the second
time for me at Talladega. Just let me enjoy what it means to be in the top-five because it’s just huge. I know it’s only qualifying,
but I just like to enjoy every second of it.”

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 15 Graceway Pharmaceuticals/AKawareness.com Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Starting Position: 5th

Are you happy with your qualifying lap?

“I’m really pleased with that. We go to these restrictor plate races all the time and we watch the 30 (Todd Bodine), as far as
Toyotas go, outrun us. He’s won the last four of them. I think that’s pretty good for us, let alone just to be able to outrun him in
qualifying. Qualifying doesn’t mean a whole lot here. We practiced real well, we got a good race truck, so I’m excited for
tomorrow.”

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Starting Position: 6th

How was your qualifying effort?

“I got a lot of excuses. I had a headwind down the front straightaway, and a flock of geese flew in front of me in front of the back
and messed the air all up and slowed me way down. It’s Talladega. It doesn’t matter where you start. It’s how good your truck
drives, how good it drives in the draft. This truck has won the last four speedway races and it drives awesome. We actually even
made it a little better this morning with a couple things. I think the Copart Tundra is going to be just fine. It’s great to have the
pole, but that doesn’t get the big check and the big trophy.”

Does your starting position at Talladega affect your strategy?

“If you’re way back, yeah, you have to look at it a little differently. I don’t even know what I ran, but we’ll be close to 10th or
something and that’s close enough to the front. Just find a hole and just wait around for the end and see what you got. Make some
adjustments and go from there. I’ve started like 28th here before and 10 laps was leading. If you do the right things in the draft and
you make the right moves, it’s not a big deal. I’m not really worried about it.”

TAYLER MALSAM, No. 81 One Eighty Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Starting Position: 8th

How was your truck in practice?

“It was awesome. This Randy Moss team did an awesome job giving me a good truck. Same one as we brought to Daytona and
we had a lot of fun with it. It should be a good race. Drafting here is so much different than Daytona. It’s so much more smooth
and it’s a lot more fun, that’s for sure.”

How much fun is it to learn drafting techniques from the veterans?

“I like it a lot, especially following Mike (Skinner) or (Ron) Hornaday and those guys, because I can follow them up through the
track and see where their lines go and how they like to run. It’s a lot of fun and I’m very fortunate to have Mike (Skinner) as a
teammate, especially if we qualify near each other today.”

STACY COMPTON, No. 60 SafeAuto Insurance / Melling Engine Parts Toyota Tundra, Wyler Racing

Starting Position: 9th

KYLE BUSCH, No. 51 Miccosukee Resorts Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Starting Position: 10th

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 PC Miler Navigator Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Starting Position: 11th

How was your truck in qualifying?

“That’s the first qualifying run that we’ve done and our PC Miler Navigator Toyota Tundra is driving very, very good today. I think
it’ll race pretty good. I don’t think we’re the cream of the crop, by any means, but if we catch the right draft there towards the end, I think we can finish well.”

How sensitive are the trucks to who you’re drafting with?

“It’s not so much how sensitive the trucks are, it’s how you react to what the drivers are gonna do. We were talking about that
earlier. Over in the Cup (Series) side, you’re drafting with certain people and you say, ‘He’s gonna do one of three or four things.’
You can kind of narrow it down. There’s been a couple of them I was riding around out there with today, there might be 10
different things, or eight different things. I’m like, ‘Wow, why did he do that?’ It’s just the experience level with those guys over
there. They’re a little bit more seasoned as far as drafting goes. You gotta be a little bit aware. You can’t take it for granted, what
the guy in front of your or beside you is gonna do over here.”

DAVID STARR, No. 24 Zachry Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Starting Position: 14th

BRIAN SCOTT, No. 16 Albertsons Toyota Tundra, Xpress Motorsports

Starting Position: 18th

T.J. BELL, No. 11 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

Starting Position: 21st

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 1 Strutmasters.com Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

Starting Position: 23rd

For Win-Tron Racing, the task of working with a new driver is nothing new but the group led by Car Owner Kevin Cywinski and Crew Chief Mike Chaffee is hoping to bring Moffitt to ARCA stardom much like they’ve done with drivers James Buescher, Matt Merrell, Kelly Bires, Bradley Riethmeyer, Beau Slocumb and Justin Marks this year.

In his first full-season of NCWES competition, Moffitt shined. In 11 races, the Grimes, Iowa native boasted two wins, six top-fives and nine top-10 finishes. He also claimed one pole and finished third in the point standings driving a full season Andy Santerre Motorsports (ASM).

The former ASA Late Model Series driver now turns to the ARCA RE/MAX Series and is hoping for a similar one-race showing like he had in the NASCAR Camping World West Series (NCWWS) at Iowa Speedway where he wheeled the No. 4 Karl Chevrolet machine to a stout fourth place effort at his home track.

Rockingham Speedway can’t be compared to Iowa Speedway but many on the Win-Tron Racing team expect Moffitt to literally explode in his inaugural ARCA debut.

“This kid (Brett Moffitt) has a lot of talent,” said Win-Tron Racing Co-Owner and General Manager Nate Thiesse. “His resume in the NASCAR Camping World East Series this year has been absolutely impressive on a limited budget. We are just thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him this weekend at Rockingham.”

Moffitt expressed a similar feeling towards his ARCA debut in the season finale.

“This is a great opportunity for me,” said Moffitt. “Win-Tron Racing has a very respectable name in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and has some of the best equipment out there. I’m just thankful to have the opportunity to drive for them in probably one of the biggest races of the year.”

Thiesse explained what the team’s overall goals were for the weekend.

“We know Brett is capable of winning and while we strive to win on a weekly basis, if we can leave Rockingham with a good finish on the lead lap, then it’s been a good day. Brett doesn’t have any experience at Rockingham, so the odds are against him this weekend but I think with our success at the track in the past, we can erase that deficit.”

Indeed, Win-Tron Racing surged Matt Merrell to a then career-best third place finish at Rockingham Speedway in April securing the Portland, Texas native with his very first top-five run in ARCA. He went on to record back-to-back career best finishes of second at Berlin Raceway and Pocono Raceway respectively.

Entering Rockingham, Win-Tron Racing holds the fourth position in the ARCA RE/MAX Series owner’s standings after 20 races. Car owner Kevin Cywinski is 600 markers from moving back to the top spot held by fellow car owner Jessica Sharp (No. 6). 210 markers keep Cywinski from the third position controlled by car owner Frank Kimmel (No. 44). The team maintained their position after Beau Slocumb recorded his career best finish of fifth in the most recent ARS event at Kansas Speedway last week.

The ARCA RE/MAX American 200 (200 laps / 200 miles) is the 21st of 21 events on the 2009 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule. The fourth ARCA race held at Rockingham is a two-day show.

Hershel McGriff: At 81, the retired driver will attempt to qualify for a NASCAR Camping World West Series race today at Portland International Raceway. And if he does, he will become the oldest driver ever to compete in a national NASCAR series race.

McGriff knows PIR. The native of Bridal Veil, Ore., won on the road course in 1986 the last time the series — then known as Winston West — visited the track. He’s raced in 85 NASCAR Cup series events, winning four. But not many racers can say they’ve retired 48 years apart — in 1954 and again in 2002.

Lofton is slated to run NASCAR Nationwide Series races at Michigan, Lowe’s, Texas and Homestead.

A California native, Lofton got his start at age 11 racing downhill mountain bikes. His need for speed progressed over the years as he made his way to four-wheels in 2003. His young career has taken him to off-road desert racing, Late Models, the NASCAR Camping World West Series and most recently the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

For the past two seasons, Lofton has raced in the ARCA RE/MAX Series with Eddie Sharp Racing. In his debut season with the series, he garnered one win, three top-five and five top-10 finishes in 20 starts. This season the momentum has continued as this up-and-coming driver has already posted one win, seven top-five, seven top-10 finishes and five poles in just nine starts.

“Justin’s natural ability behind the wheel of a race car has been impressive and we’re looking forward to taking it to the next level with him,” stated CJM Racing co-owner, Tony Mullet. “We’re starting out with a smaller program with hopes of securing something long-term down the road. This is an exciting time for the CJM Racing organization.”

More details regarding sponsorship and specific details about the second team will be announced at a later time.

(June 3, 2009) – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Joey Logano will compete in the Bennett Lane Winery 200, presented by Supercuts, NASCAR Camping World West Series race at Infineon Raceway on Saturday, June 20

Logano joins road-race veteran Boris Said as the latest two entries for the Camping World West Series race, which is part of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend, June 19-21 (Father’s Day weekend).

Logano will pull double-duty for Joe Gibbs Racing, competing in both events. The Middleton, Conn., driver became the youngest winner in the West Series with a victory in his series debut in 2007 (16 years, 10 months). Logano competed in the West Series event at Infineon Raceway two years ago, but was sidelined by engine trouble.

Said will be driving a special silver-and-black DenBeste Motorsports entry honoring the career of Oakland Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler, who will serve as the Grand Marshal of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 weekend. Said placed third in his last West Series event in Sonoma in 2007. He has four top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Infineon Raceway.

Last year’s NASCAR Camping World Series West race at Sonoma, which attracted a record field of 41 cars, featured a thrilling three-way battle for the win in the closing laps. Jason Bowles held on for the win, with Eric Holmes and Fairfield’s Jim Inglebright close behind.
