CHARLOTTE, NC (AUGUST 22, 2011) – Max Gresham has his sights set on a NASCAR career, but the driver of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota also has plans beyond the racetrack.
To that end, the 18-year-old Griffin, GA native will begin classes this week at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC. According to Gresham, who currently leads the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East point standings on the strength of two wins and seven top-five finishes in nine races this season, the school has the right program for him.
