Ron Hornaday Brings Home Top-10 in Kentucky

(June 27, 2014) - Coming into Kentucky on Thursday night, Ron Hornaday Jr. wanted to continue his hot start to the 2014 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season and come home with a top-10 finish. Hornaday and his Rheem Comfort Products team did just that, finishing eighth for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) at Kentucky Speedway. During the action-packed one-day show, the NCWTS had two practice sessions where Hornaday and his TSM team laid down the 14th- and 10th-fastest lap times, respectively. Hornaday then went out on Thursday afternoon and laid down a time of 31.006 sec., which was good enough for a top-10 starting position for the 150-lap shootout.
