"Injured rookie cleared to resume Nationwide Series competition"
Mooresville, NC (May 9, 2013) … KH Motorsports announced today that Dexter Stacey will drive the #92 Maddie’s Place Ford in the VFW Sport Clips Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway this weekend. Stacey, who suffered a mild concussion in an early-race accident at Richmond International Raceway on April 26th, did not drive at Talladega after consulting with Charlotte Neurosurgeon Dr. Jerry Petty, M.D. last week.
Stacey, the 20-year old NASCAR Nationwide Series rookie contender from Kahnawake, Quebec, was evaluated by Dr. Petty earlier this week and cleared to resume racing at Darlington.
