Brendan Gaughan Earns Seventh Top-10 Finish of Season at Phoenix International Raceway

No. 62 Charter Communications Chevrolet Camaro (Photo Credit: Matt Sullivan / Getty Images) Brendan Gaughan and the Charter Communications Chevrolet Camaro qualified eighth for the DAV 200 - Honoring American Veterans at Phoenix International Raceway. This was the seventh top-10 starting position of the season for the No. 62 Richard Childress Racing team. During the first caution on lap 38, Gaughan visited pit road for right-side Goodyear tires and Sunoco fuel. The Las Vegas-native was content with the handling of his Camaro throughout the 200-lap event. When the final caution fell on lap 199 forcing the race into a green-white-checkered overtime, Gaughan restarted ninth and drove to eighth when the checkered flag waved.
