• Brian Ickler (fourth), Johnny Benson (fifth), Aric Almirola (seventh), Mike Skinner (eighth) and David Starr (10th) also earned top-10 finishes for Toyota at the 1.5-mile race track.
• Tundra drivers Justin Lofton (13th), Tayler Malsam (22nd), Timothy Peters (23rd) and Jesse Smith (29th) were also in the field.
• Peters continues to lead the unofficial NCWTS point standings, 22 points ahead of Bodine. Almirola (third) and Skinner (10th) are also in the top-10 in points after five of 25 races.

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Germain.com Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing
Finishing Position: 3rd

Was your final pit stop the key to your third-place finish? “That’s one thing, all the Germain guys are strong in the pits. Every week they beat guys out and that’s what keeps us up front. We were free all day and right there at the end we got a little tight off. I couldn’t quite run with Ron (Hornaday Jr.) and Johnny (Sauter), they were a little fast with a little too much horsepower, but this Toyota was awesome. To overcome what we did today with getting a speeding penalty and then a flat tire under green putting us a lap down and to come back and finish third, that’s what this team is all about. We just never give up.”

Did you think you had a shot at the win when Ron Hornaday Jr. and Johnny Sauter made contact in the closing laps? “I actually couldn’t see it. (Mike Hillman) Junior told me that them clowns were up there racing each other hard so keep digging. That’s what we do. Unfortunately for us they straightened it out and kept going.”

BRIAN ICKLER, No. 18 Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports
Finishing Position: 4th

Was your truck being loose the key to your finish today at Kansas? “We were a little free. I’m real proud of the guys. They did a great job all day on pit road. I had a good run today for KBM (Kyle Busch Motorsports) and hopefully we can keep — just happy we can keep the 18 up there in points.”

JOHNNY BENSON, No. 15 Red Top Collector Car Auction Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports Finishing Position: 5th

How was your race? “We kind of stayed off pit road with old tires thinking that we’d get a caution at the end and have tires on everybody, but it went green so I really have to thank Cowboy (Kevin Starland, crew chief) and everybody at Billy Ballew Motorsports. It was a great car and have to thank Red Top Auto Auctions and their May 22 and 23 big auction there in Georgia.”

Are you happy with your finish? “Yeah, for what we had and from where we started off. We seemed to struggle. For some reason our Tundra wasn’t drafting as good as it needed to be. I was stalling out, I’m not sure why that was doing that. That made it tough, but those guys made a great call staying out on tires. That wasn’t our plan, but after I saw no one else was coming, we decided to finish it off. I was starting to get slow there at the end but I’m sure that everyone else was, too.”

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 51 Graceway Pharmaceuticals/AKAwareness.com Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports Finishing
Position: 7th

What was your truck like after the rain delay? “I guess it would have kept raining now. We thought we were going to make some adjustments there on that pit stop and help us and we didn’t help us at all. It really hurt our truck. I don’t know, we made the wrong adjustment.”

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 International Trucks/Monaco RV Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports Finishing Position: 8th

How was your truck after the rain delay? “We really struggled all day. Our truck was just horribly loose and bouncing all over the place. We really struggled and when it rained, Gene (Nead, crew chief) and the guys, they got their heads together. According to him, he didn’t do that much but all of a sudden they fixed our truck and I think it was more with air pressure than anything else. Then the truck was too tight, which was okay, I could have raced like that. If we could have started the day like that, and been tunable, we could have definitely been a threat for the top-three.”

DAVID STARR, No. 81 PC Miler Navigator Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports
Finishing Position: 10th

How was your race? “It wasn’t bad. Our PC Miler Navigator Zachry Toyota Tundra was okay. At times we were better. We struggled pretty much all day long. We were decent at times and struggled other times, all in all it was just an okay race. To come back and finish in the top-10 with how practice was, I’d say it was almost like a win for us because we were pretty bad in practice. It’s frustrating for me and (Doug) Wilcott (crew chief) and all the guys on the team trying to get this thing handled a little bit better. To come back from as bad as we were, not a bad finish — we messed up right there at the end. Once the track got back on the race track they had pit road back open and all my guys went down there ready for a pit stop and we went from eighth to 16th, I think that hurt us a lot. All in all, everybody did a good job and when you start complaining about top-10s, that’s sad so I’m not going to complain. It’s just not what we were looking for, we were looking for a lot better. Not bad, good day for everybody.”

JUSTIN LOFTON, No. 7 VisitPit.com Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing
Finishing Position: 13th

How was your race? “Our race was good. At first we were hoping for day light or sunlight and then we got the sun to come out and now we were kind of wishing it hadn’t rained. When the sun came out, we made a couple of adjustments to try to get some speed out of the truck, which we’ve been looking for all weekend and then we went backwards. We made it looser — it just went backwards. It is what it is — worse racing term there is. I’m proud of the guys on the No. 7 Toyota Tundra, they did a great job all weekend. We had three solid stops, we have a truck that’s in one piece. We might have finished one lap down, but the leader was right in front of me. It’s a big improvement for us in our season, getting some momentum going. We’ll go on to Dover and we’ll let ‘er rip.”

TAYLER MALSAM, No. 56 One Eighty Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports
Finishing Position: 22nd

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 17 Strutmasters.com Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing
Finishing Position: 23rd

JESSE SMITH, No. 90 Great Wolfe Lodge/Great Clips Toyota Tundra, Stringer Motorsports
Finishing Position: 29th

(March 27)- Timothy Peters’ favorite track on the Camping World Truck Series schedule sits just 20 miles from his home in Danville, VA. Cutting his teeth behind the wheel at Martinsville Speedway made Peters one of the few drivers in the field on Saturday with thousands of laps already under his belt on the paperclip-shaped short track. The pressure and the stakes were high for the hometown driver and his #17 Red Horse Racing team after winning there last fall.

Starting from the fifth spot, Peters was charging to the front but trouble on the first pit stop marred him back in the field. Clawing his way to the front, Peters exercised patiently aggressive driving to eventually take the lead. Unable to hold off hard charging competitors, Peters battled hard to put himself in the fourth position when the checkered flag fell. He earned his third top-10 and second top-five finish of the season. Peters also reclaimed the lead in the series driver point standings by a margin of 59 points.

The #17 Red Horse Racing team unloaded the same truck Peters drove to Victory Lane at Martinsville Speedway last fall. Fast right from the first laps during practice, Peters was very happy with the way his Toyota Tundra was driving. Final practice was cut short by rain showers but the #17 Strutmasters.com Tundra was third quick overall. The rain persisted all afternoon and rained out qualifying. The trucks were lined up by 2009 owner’s points putting Peters in the fifth spot for the start of the Kroger 250.

The green flag dropped just after 2:00pm on Saturday afternoon under sunny skies. Peters started fifth but in just one lap had moved his way to the third position. The caution came out on lap 26 and Peters told his crew his Strutmasters.com machine was tight in the center of the turns but was rolling through the corners very well. Opting to stay out, Peters restarted third on lap 32.

Getting a great restart, Peters was able to sneak by the second place truck and claim the position on lap 32. 15 laps later the condition of the #17 seemed to change drastically. Where it was once tight, Peters was reporting that it was very loose. He slipped back to the fourth spot and told the team he might have a tire going down on lap 57. With all the tires still up, Peters just held on and waited for the first pit stop.

That chance came on lap 73 when the caution came out again. Reporting a very loose truck, Peters brought his Tundra to pit road for work on lap 75. Taking four fresh tires and fuel, he also picked up air pressure and track bar adjustments. Trouble with the jack on the right side delayed the pit stop and cost Peters several positions. He lined up 16th for the restart on lap 80.

By lap 82, Peters had worked his way to the 14th spot. Another caution came out on lap 84 and he reported the truck was a little snug. Restarting 14th, he moved into the 13th spot before another quick caution on lap 91. Still saying the truck was too tight; crew chief Jeff Hensley told his driver it might be the result of a tight set of tires. Unable to make much progress under green, Peters was relieved to see another caution on lap 112.

Hensley called his driver to pit road on lap 114 for four fresh tires, fuel and another round of adjustments. Making additional track bar and air pressure adjustments, Hensley was sure the truck would be better under the next green flag run. Off pit sequence with most of the other trucks, Peters restarted 17th.

The #17 quickly regained the 14th spot and continued his forward march to the 11th position by lap 126. A caution on lap 133 brought most of the trucks to pit road and Peters stayed out. He gained plenty of track position and restarted from the second spot on lap 139.

Peters ran second and was studying the leader to find his weak spot. After another caution on lap 144, the field restarted on lap 150 and Peters got just the opportunity he was looking for. He was able to get by the leader and take the lead for himself on lap 150. Leading the way for 28 laps, Peters was disappointed to see another yellow flag on lap 178. Kevin Harvick would line up beside him with fresher tires and a very strong truck. Peters was able to hold Harvick off on the restart and continued to lead the way until Harvick squeezed by him on lap 190.

Settling into the second spot, Peters was saving his truck so he would have something left in the closing laps of the race. Another caution came out on lap 198. Peters stayed out and restarted from the second spot but got pinched up top on the restart and the third and fourth place trucks were able to get by him before he could drop to the inside line. Running fifth, two trucks right in front of Peters wrecked and the #17 narrowly got by without any damage. The wounded trucks hit pit road and Peters took the third spot for the restart on lap 231.

With less than 20 laps remaining, patience was running thin and tempers were flaring up. During the restart the fourth place truck pushed Peters up the race track and almost spun him out. The Strutmasters.com Tundra held steady but slipped back one spot. While Peters was gathering back his momentum, the fifth place truck tried the same move but Peters wasn’t giving in. For two laps the two trucks raced door to door until Peters was able to clear him and resume the fourth spot. He was able to hold onto the position for the final 15 laps and claim a fourth place finish at his home track. The #17 team earned its third consecutive top-10 finish and took back the point lead in the series driver point standings.

Martinsville Speedway

Kroger 250

March 27, 2010

Peters’ Returns to His Home Track… Timothy Peters will be able to sleep in his own bed during this race weekend. The Danville, VA resident lives just 20 miles from the famed Martinsville Speedway. In part because of its close proximity, and in part because of his success on the paperclip shaped short track over the years, Martinsville is Peters’ favorite race track. Last fall Peters made some personal history by earning his first NASCAR win in front of the hometown crowd. He returns this weekend with the hope of back to back celebrations in Victory Lane.

Peters at Martinsville…There is no other track on the Camping World Truck Series schedule where Timothy Peters has more experience than Martinsville Speedway. The Kroger 250 will mark Peters’ ninth start on the .526-mile oval. In eight previous events, he started inside the top-10 five times and earned four top-10 finishes, including his win in October 2009. Peters knows how to lead the way at Martinsville; in two of those races, he led 130 laps combined.

Hensley Right At Home In Martinsville…Crew chief, Jeff Hensley calls Martinsville, Virginia his home town as well. Living in a town just five miles from the track, Hensley commutes to the Red Horse Racing shop in Mooresville, NC on week days. The commute will be shorter this week with the series racing just minutes from home. Hensley has seen his own share of success at Martinsville Speedway over the years. He has two Truck Series wins and two Nationwide Series wins already under his belt but admits it never hurts to have one more.

Tight Points Battle Early In The Season…. Heading into Martinsville, Peters sits second in the Camping World Truck Series point standings. Leading the points after Daytona, Peters dropped just one spot to second after Atlanta. He now sits just four points behind the leader and has a margin of 41 points between himself and the third place driver.

Strutmasters Back For Martinsville… Strutmasters.com adorned the hood last fall when Peters took the #17 to Victory Lane at Martinsville Speedway and they are back on board for the Kroger 250 this weekend. Strutmasters was born in owner Chip Lofton’s converted dairy barn in 1999. It provides consumers an affordable alternative to expensive and problematic air ride suspension systems found on luxury vehicles. The company ships suspension conversion kits to thousands of auto repair shops, parts stores and dealers across North America. Retail customers can order by visiting the Strutmasters.com website.

Crescent Tools On Board… The Crescent Tools logo will adorn the #17 Toyota Tundra as an associate sponsor for the entire 2010 season. The Crescent brand product line now consists not only of adjustable wrenches, but also a wide selection of other tools. These include, several styles of pliers, ratcheting wrenches, screwdrivers, and tool sets. One of the most recent examples of Crescent innovation is the new RapidSlide™ adjustable wrench.

Timothy Peters on racing at Martinsville Speedway “I love racing at Martinsville. Coming off a win there in the fall, we are excited to get back and see if we can repeat. We tested at the Motor Mile and feel really good about what we learned there. I will be piloting the same truck I had here in the fall and feel good about our chances this weekend.”

Crew Chief Jeff Hensley on Martinsville Speedway “The race at your home track is always one you want to win. Timothy is really good here and after testing this truck a couple times, I’m confident we will have a strong truck for the race. I’ve had wins at Martinsville before but I would love to get our #17 Tundra back in Victory Lane and keep the momentum we started at the first race rolling throughout the season.”

Equipment Information Timothy Peters will compete with chassis #137 in the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway. This is the same chassis Peters was driving when he earned his first career win at Martinsville last fall.

(November 20) – Timothy Peters and the No. 17 Strutmasters.com team knew they had only one race left to get their Toyota Tundra back to Victory Lane and they were more determined than ever to make it happen. Peters worked his way to the lead and looked to have a good shot at bringing home the win. A late caution set up a green, white, checkered finish. Peters restarted from the lead with another competitor on fresh tires at his bumper. Peters was unable to hold onto the lead on the older tires but was able to secure the fourth spot in a wild finish at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The finish was Peters’ fifth top-five of the season and helped him claim the eighth spot in the Camping World Series driver point standings for the season.

The No. 17 Strutmasters.com team used two practice sessions on Thursday evening to make sure their truck was the one to beat on Friday night. Peters was fastest in first practice and backed up those same speeds in the final practice session. Peters put his No. 17 Tundra in the sixth starting spot for the Ford 200, the final race of the 2009 season.

With only one opportunity left to earn another trip to Victory Lane, Peters was on a mission when the green flag dropped under the lights at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

After running just five laps, Peters reported that his Tundra was a little too free all the way through the corner and that he was unable to run the bottom groove of the race track. Peters grabbed the fifth spot on lap 30 and then the first caution of the night came out on lap 32. Peters told his crew chief Chad Kendrick that the truck had not gotten any better. He headed for pit road on lap 33 for four fresh tires and an air pressure adjustment. He returned the following lap for fuel and a track bar adjustment to tighten up the truck.

Timothy Peters

Peters restarted seventh.

The No. 17 Strutmasters.com Tundra lost one position after the restart and Peters fell to the eighth spot. Another caution came out on lap 37 but Kendrick told him to stay out. Peters reported that his truck really wasn’t much better after the adjustments. After the restart, Peters was able to get by the sixth and fifth place trucks to claim the spots for himself. Another caution came out on lap 58 and Peters told Kendrick his truck was still pretty loose. The No. 17 headed for pit road once again on lap 59 for two right side tires only. Peters returned the following lap for fuel, track bar, and wedge adjustments. He restarted seventh.

The gamble with two tires paid off and Peters was on the move. He passed three trucks in one lap to take over the fourth spot on lap 66. Just three laps later, he moved up to third. Peters followed the second place truck for several laps to see where his weaknesses were. Peters stalked him until he could compete the pass and took over the second spot on lap 82. Nearing the fuel window, other trucks began making their green flag pit stops on lap 113, including the leader. When he hit pit road, Peters assumed the lead. The No. 17 led for four laps and then headed to pit road for a splash of gas. Peters merged back on the track in the seventh spot but quickly regained the second position on lap 124.

Peters continued to run faster lap times than the leader, inching his way closer with each lap. With five laps to go, Peters was still second but closer than ever to reaching the leader. The caution flag flew on lap 127 setting the field up for a green, white, checkered finish. The leader hit pit road under the caution but Peters opted to stay out. That gave him the lead for the restart but he knew it would be tough to hold off trucks with fresh tires. Geared up for a wild finish, Peters took the green flag and tried to keep everyone else in his mirror. The trucks on newer tires were able to get by him but not without a fight. Peters held on for two laps to bring home a fourth place finish for the No. 17 Strutmasters.com team. Proud of their accomplishments this season, it was a perfect end to such a successful year.

Finishing Position: 4th

Are you happy with the way you ended your 2009 season tonight?

“What a way to end a year with this Strutmasters.com Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra. It’s just awesome to end a year on this note right here. We looked to stay out and we didn’t have anything to lose. We were gambling to see if we could get us another victory but I tried to get the tires as clean as I could and I spun them a little bit. A rookie mistake on my part. I’ve got to thank Chad Kendrick (crew chief) and everybody on this team. They do a great job. From where we started at Daytona not knowing if we could make it past Martinsville. Tom DeLoach (Red Horse Racing, team owner) gave me an awesome opportunity to be here. Strustmasters.com, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota — I can’t thank those guys enough. I’m
looking forward to next season.”

How did your truck handle during the race?

“It was good for us. Our Strutmasters.com Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra was good right off the lift gate. We made a gamble there at the end to stay out thinking some people would stay out with us but everybody came in. Chad Kendrick (crew chief) did a great job. The whole team — considering where we started at in Daytona not knowing that I could make it past Martinsville. I don’t know where we ended up in points but we had a good finish and got us a win this year.”

Timothy Peters (Photo Credit: John Harrelson/Getty Images for NASCAR)

Why did those trucks beat you on that final restart?

“They had fresh tires. Everybody came down pit road and we were just the lonely sole out there. But all in all it was a
good day. I’m just ecstatic. When we joined Red Horse Racing we were 19th in drivers points and I think we ended up
around seventh. It’s been an awesome year and I’m ready to go to Daytona.”

What happened on the final restart?

“When you race with these guys you learn a lot and (Kevin) Harvick is the best of the best. I cleaned my tires off but
evidentially it wasn’t enough. I made a rookie mistake and spun them too much, but he had new tires and was going to go
by us in turn one anyway.”

Todd Bodine

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 5th

What happened from your viewpoint on the ‘green-white-checkered’ finish?

“The truck series usually is pretty crazy with the green-white-checkered. Before the caution came out we had the fastest
truck on the track. We were just so far back, we were running seventh, so we decided to come in, put two tires on and gain
a little track position. We pumped the right front tire up a little too high and it pushed too much in the last two laps. We
still gained two spots. Copart and everybody, I really appreciate what they’ve done for us this year in getting us through the
year with their sponsorship. It’s typical Germain Racing — we just never give up. We started the season with a win at
Daytona with no sponsor on the truck and we made it through the season with the help of Copart, Ventrillo and Lumber
Liquidators. It was a tough year, but we got through.”

What were you adjusting in your truck when you lifted the hood halfway through the race?

“The first set of tires, we corded the inside pretty bad. I think it was really the right call to come in and adjust it so we
didn’t blow it out. We didn’t need to finish in the back – we needed to keep the points up to finish fourth in points. It really
didn’t help it drive any better, but it definitely saved the tire and kept us in front of Johnny (Sauter) for fourth in points.”

No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 6th

What happened from your viewpoint on the ‘green-white-checkered’ finish?

“That was crazy and that cost us a spot right there. I didn’t know if I was supposed to come on pit road or not. Just had a
lot of confusion going on with the radio right there. We had about a fourth or fifth-place truck and we lost a couple spots
right there at the end. We’ve got a good race team and we’ve got a lot to build on. I’m proud to be driving a Toyota Tundra
and I can’t wait till Daytona.”

Mike Skinner

How was your season overall?

“It was a great season and I really felt like I would have liked to have finished a little better last night. I thought that we
might have had a little better truck. Eric (Phillips, crew chief) did a good job, the pit crew did a fantastic job – I don’t think
the driver did that good of a job tonight. I kept overdriving the corners and trying to get grip that just wasn’t there. Tim
Fedewa did a great job spotting, he kept trying to get me to slow down in the corner. When I would slow down getting in
the corner, I would run really good laps and we had a really good truck. Got to work on the driver a little bit with these tires
that are like this. Goodyear does a great job and I know they’ll get us better stuff next year.”

(November 13)- Timothy Peters and the #17 Strutmasters.com team knew this race at Phoenix International Raceway would be a challenge. It marked Peter’s first Camping World Truck Series start at the track but the team had reason to be confident. It was the final short track race of the season and a chance for the team to use what they learned at Martinsville one month ago when Peters earned his first career victory. Two practice sessions on Thursday helped the #17 team get their Toyota Tundra ready for the Friday night race. Peters qualified 16th and felt like he had a good shot at earning another win for his Red Horse Racing team. When the green flag dropped, Peters could tell it was going to be a long night. Handling issues plagued the team and the #17 eventually lost a lap. Peters spent most of the race fighting for his lap back. Despite fighting the handling of his Tundra, Peters received his lap back and brought home a 16th place finish in the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway.

The #17 Strutmasters.com team worked diligently during two practice sessions on Thursday to get their Tundra handling the way Peters needed it to. He qualified 16th and felt like the truck would be good for the 150-lap race under the lights in Phoenix. Most comfortable on a short track, Peters was anxious to get the Lucas Oil 150 started.

When the green flag dropped, Peters went to work on the competition. He picked up the 14th spot on lap two. An early caution came out on lap seven and Peters radioed the crew that his Tundra was way too loose getting into turn one but was good in turns three and four. Crew chief Chad Kendrick called Peters to pit road on lap nine for fuel and shock and track bar adjustments. Peters restarted 30th.

The #17 Strutmasters.com Tundra wasted no time moving back through the field. Peters claimed the 19th spot on lap 20. Another caution came out on lap 34 and Peters told the team the front end of the truck was pushing badly. He told Kendrick he needed the nose of the truck back down on the race track because the track’s surface felt so greasy. Peters hit pit road on lap 35 for four fresh tires. He returned the following lap for fuel and another shock adjustment. He restarted 14th.

Despite picking up spots on pit road, Peters could not hold onto them on the track. He was struggling so badly with the truck’s condition that he slipped back to the 20th spot and lost a lap to the leaders. A caution came out on lap 90 and Peters headed back to pit road for more help. He took four fresh tires and returned the next lap for fuel and a shock adjustment. He restarted 18th.

Peters had to restart inside the leaders to race for his lap back. Unable to pass the leader, he was still in a good position, being the first truck one lap down. The #17 Strutmasters.com Tundra was handling a little better as Peters ran his fastest lap of the race on lap 98. A caution came out on lap 121 and Peters was awarded the “lucky dog,” putting him back on the lead lap. He hit pit road one final time on lap 122 for fuel and additional adjustments. He returned the following laps for four tires and restarted from the 17th spot.

With just 24 laps to go, Peters had his work cut out for him. Each driver was fighting every lap for every inch of race track. Peters was able to work his way to the 16th spot but slipped back to 17th just before the caution came out on lap 145 setting the field up for a green/white/checkered finish. With one final shot at it, Peters was determined to get all he could get. He grabbed the 16th spot before another caution came out, ending the race. Peters brought home a 16th place finish in the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Miami, Florida this weekend. The Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway is scheduled for Friday, November 20th. It will be televised on SPEED Channel at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Phoenix International Raceway – November 13, 2009

- Kyle Busch (second) was the top finishing Toyota driver in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
(NCWTS) race at Phoenix International Raceway.

- Aric Almirola (third) also finished in the top-five at Phoenix, his seventh top-five result in 15 starts this season.
Mike Skinner (sixth), Mike Bliss (seventh), David Starr (ninth) and Stacy Compton (10th) also had top-10 finishes
for Toyota at the one-mile race track.

- Tundra drivers Brian Scott (11th), Todd Bodine (12th), T.J. Bell (13th), Timothy Peters (16th), Tayler Malsam
(17th) and Brad Sweet (22nd) were also in the field.

- Five Tundra drivers are among the top-10 in the unofficial NCWTS point standings — Skinner (third), Bodine
(fourth), Scott (sixth), Starr (eighth) and Peters (ninth) – with one race remaining in the 2009 season.

Finishing Position: 2nd

How was your race tonight?

“We weren’t as good as the 4 (Kevin Harvick). We did the best that we can and that’s all that we could come home with.
He (Kevin Harvick) kicked our butt pretty bad last year and we got a gain on it this year and that gain right there, we need
another one and we’ll be able to keep up with them or try to at least beat him. We kept up with him tonight but needed a
little more.”

Did you feel that you had a race-winning truck tonight?

“We didn’t have enough for the (Kevin) Harvick trucks tonight. (Ron) Hornaday kind of battled for a championship, played
it smart and (Kevin) Harvick was really fast like I said before. We came home second. It was a good day for the
Miccosukee Toyota Tundra. We gained from last year. (Kevin) Harvick whooped our butt pretty bad last year but we
gained on it a little bit. If we had another gain like that we probably would be able to keep up with him or win.”

Did you feel like Kevin Harvick had a big advantage over you?

“It wasn’t bad, it was about what I expected. I expected the 4 (Kevin Harvick) truck to be really, really good in which he
was. I guess he wasn’t driving in the beginning of the race. He was just holding back seeing what everybody had. Our
truck was good. We made a gain on it from last year to this year distancewise from (Kevin) Harvick. Harvick was just
stupid fast last year. This year I felt like we made a gain. If we can make another one of those gains next year then we’ll be
right on him. Overall, the Miccosukee Tundra was good. We led some laps and tried to go for the win but just didn’t quite
have enough on those restarts there.”

Do you think the 51 truck has a chance at winning the owner’s championship next weekend?

“I can’t close the gap, I’ve got to take that gap. They’re going to race next week hard as ever. They’re going to go and try
to win the race. That’s going to be the plan. They’ve got the driver’s championship locked up so if they go out there and
try to win the race and are successful at that then we can’t catch them. But if they go out there and try to win the race and
have problems by having issues whether it’s a wreck or engine or a tire – it could be anything. That’s why we race races.
Hopefully we can battle it out and have a good, strong run and see if we can’t beat them. Sixty points, I don’t know how
many spots that is but I take it that it’s probably 17 or so. So it’s going to be hard to do.”

Aric Almirola

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 15 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Finishing Position: 3rd

How did your truck handle during the race?

“We had a good truck. Doug George (crew chief) and everybody on this AK Awareness.com Tundra did a really good job.
I don’t know what it’s going to take to get one of these ones. It’s not for a lack of effort. I can promise you that.
Everybody is racing their hearts out. Our truck just wasn’t very good on short runs and for whatever reason that last set of
tires didn’t take off very good for us. It was really tight – that last set of tires. We chattered the right front for quite a while
and just couldn’t ever take off.”

How was your race tonight?

“It was a fun race tonight. The race track widened out. You could run two-wide pretty good. The bottom lane was
definitely preferred but you could move around. It was a good race. I’m just still disappointed, man, I want to get one of
these wins some kind of bad. We tried, we raced our butts off and we came home third. That was what we had tonight.”

Was your truck better on the short or long runs tonight?

“It wasn’t very good on short runs. We struggled yesterday on short runs, too, in practice and for whatever reason it just
wouldn’t take off. We chattered the right front, chattered the right front and finally it would come in and take off and it
would go pretty good. I’m really proud of everybody at Billy Ballew Motorsports. Doug George (crew chief) and all of the
guys on this AK Awareness Tundra have been doing a great job. We just came up short. I’m going to win one of these
races one of these days. We just keep coming up short but it’s not for lack of effort.”

How has your team progressed over the season?

“Our team has really stepped their game up. We bring trucks to the race track every single weekend and they’re capable of
winning and I think we’ve proved that. Talladega we ran one-two and unfortunately I was second. Texas we had a top-
five, top-three truck and I lost power steering about lap 35 and then here again we had another good truck and led laps and
ran upfront but just couldn’t seem to seal the deal. I’m very proud of everything that everybody’s got going on at Billy
Ballew Motorsports.

I’m very happy that Graceway Pharmaceuticals have come onboard and helped us get through the end
of the year, but the Gods honest truth about next year, I have no clue. Last year, two years ago, I probably would’ve felt
like a little bit of an outcast and felt like the minority going to Homestead next week and not having any idea what I’m
doing next year but for whatever the case may be whether it’s the economy, whether it’s just people not sure of what’s
going on, I really feel like the majority. It seems like half of the garage in all three series are really unsure on their 2010
plans. There’s a lot of uncertainty going into next year and I just seem to be a part of that.”

Mike Skinner

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 6th

Were you not feeling well during tonight’s race at Phoenix?

“I got the creeping crud. It started a couple of days ago and my doctor has got me on all kinds of antibiotics and Prednisone
and everything else to try to keep me alive so I could run this race. Our Exide Tundra was awfully, awfully loose. I don’t
know what happened to the truck I had yesterday. After the race, Eric (Phillips, crew chief) told me he freed it up this
morning and didn’t tell me about it. We need to communicate a little better on stuff like that. Once he got it tightened back
up, I wish I could have started the race like I ended the race because I think we probably could have gotten a few more
spots.”

Did being sick tonight make this a difficult race?

“Yeah, any time you’re sick, your focus is off and your reactions are off. I was burning up hot one second and freezing cold
the next. My nose is running all down my mouth – it’s just not pretty when you’re sick. That’s why drivers make more
than mechanics because we have to be able to do that and we have to play hurt sometimes.”

MIKE BLISS, No. 25 Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Finishing Position: 7th

How was your race?

“It was alright, it was kind of uneventful. We took four (tires) at first and then we took two at the end. We were kind of
just sliding around at the end, but this place is always like that the last 50 laps. It never goes that long. We kind of counted
on that. It was a good run. I’m really happy I got to run this Toyota Tundra and it was a good solid run for us.”

David Starr

DAVID STARR, No. 24 Zachry Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Finishing Position: 9th

Are you disappointed with your finish tonight?

“I am. We keep working hard. We didn’t have the best truck tonight. Our Zachry Toyota Tundra was just okay. We got it
better towards that second practice yesterday. Jason Miller, our crew chief, found something. It just wasn’t where it needed
to be. We had some great pit stop strategy and with a lot of heart and hard work, we never gave up. We came out with a
decent finish. Top-10s is a good thing, but we shoot for a lot better than that.”

What do you think about both HT Motorsports Tundras being in the top 10?

“That’s a good thing. That’s what we shoot for, we want both trucks in the top five and top 10. It was good to see us both
right there close to each other. We just needed to be a little bit further up the pecking charts. Not bad for a seventh and
ninth but we’re definitely working harder to get closer to that number one spot. With the way our truck was handling and
everything we had to fight against, it was almost like a win for us. You never get enough until you win these races, so we’ll
just keep striving and working hard to do that and that’s what we’re going to keep doing.”

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Texas Motor Speedway – November 6, 2009

- Kyle Busch won Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Busch led 54 of 147 laps at the one-and-a-half-mile oval en route to victory lane.

- This win was Busch’s fifth consecutive win in as many starts behind the wheel of the Billy Ballew Motorsports No.
51 Miccosukee Resort Tundra, and his 10th triumph in a Tundra over the past two seasons.

- It was the 14th win for a Tundra driver this year — the most NCWTS wins for Toyota in the series in a single season.
Todd Bodine (fourth), Brian Scott (seventh), Mike Skinner (eighth) and Texas-native David Starr (ninth) also had
top-10 finishes for Toyota.

- Tundra drivers Aric Almirola (14th), Tayler Malsam (18th), Timothy Peters (19th), Stacy Compton (22nd), T.J. Bell
(23rd) and Terry Cook (24th) were also in the field.

- Five Tundra drivers are among the top-10 in the unofficial NCWTS point standings — Skinner (third), Bodine
(fourth), Scott (sixth), Peters (eighth) and Starr (ninth) – with two races remaining in the 2009 season.

Finishing Position: 1st

How do you feel about how tonight’s race worked out?

“That’s cool man. What a Tundra tonight, man. This Miccosukee / Graceway Pharmaceuticals Tundra was awesome and
Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and these guys have really done their homework lately. It’s an accomplishment to beat the 33
(Ron Hornaday, Jr.) bunch here, that’s for sure. We got it done today. You know, it was a lot of fun. The 88 (Matt
Crafton) — man, I hate seeing the 88 finish second. I really wish he could get a win. I thank the fans for coming out
tonight. It was a great race. Thank NOS Energy Drink and all these guys on this pit crew — Billy Ballew Motorsports. I’m
pretty proud accomplishment to be here — five in a row. That’s pretty sweet. Undefeated back with Richie (Wauters, crew
chief) — that’s what’s even more fun.”

What are your chances of winning all three races this weekend?

“I hope I didn’t screw it up for tomorrow. I’ve never won here in a truck, but I won the Nationwide races here in the past
three times. So, looking to try to get the Nationwide win tomorrow. Dave (Rogers, crew chief) and all the guys on the
M&M’s Camry will be working hard tomorrow during ‘Happy Hour.’ Try to get us something capable enough of running
up front on Sunday. We’ll see what we can get. It would be pretty awesome to get them all three done here at Texas. I
wanted to win a truck race here for a long time — so this is pretty cool. As soon as I get a Cup win — another one we can
notch off the list.”

Did you have it when you needed it at the end?

“Yeah, we did. We made some good changes on this Miccousukee Tundra today and really brought the thing to life. I’m
really proud of Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and all these guys. This is an awesome race truck. This is the same one
(truck) we won with at Chicago. We’ve got a match to number 11 (chassis). This is (number) 32 here, 11 was always our
chassis that kicked butt, so now we found another one. All these guys, they do a great job.”

Are your trucks good every time you come to the track?

“For sure. You know, I really look forward to working with these guys and Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and everybody
that works so hard on this truck. We’ve got a lot of guys that probably don’t make a whole lot of money, but they dig in
real deep and they don’t quit. They don’t go home at five – they stay late. That’s what it takes in this sport. The dedication
and the people to make it happen. These guys here, they’ve been dedicated. They really work their butts off — it’s starting
to prevail for them. We’ve got five in a row now with myself and it’s a total of seven wins for Billy (Ballew, team owner).”

Did you run the truck pretty hard at the end and wear down the right front tire?

“Yeah, I did. I was trying to stay away from the 88 (Matt Crafton) catching me — I was trying to stay away from him. He
was running me down. He had a great truck. I hat seeing Matt (Crafton) finish second. He needs a win in this deal and
especially to me. We’re pretty good friends. I wish I could pull over and give it to him, but that wouldn’t be racing. Again,
I had to run hard and I ended up pushing the right front tire off for a little bit too much, probably. It lasted just enough,
man. Those lapped trucks that I had to get by in the last 10, 12, 15 laps, whatever it was – really hurt our performance of
the truck and so we were fairly able to hold off the 88 (Matt Crafton) – which is cool.”

Are the Toyotas getting better gas mileage than the other trucks?

“Chevrolet and Ford lobbied for Toyota to get a smaller plate and it helped our fuel mileage. So, thanks guys. That’s all
the difference right there. Those guys have a bigger spacer-plate, we have tapered spacers and they have a bigger one so it
allows more air to pass through. When you allow more air to pass through, it takes more fuel to keep the engine running
right. Those guys have worse fuel mileage than we do. The Toyota Tundras though, the guys in the engine shop at Triad,
they’ve been working real hard to get us more horsepower and at the same time use less fuel to get better fuel mileage.
Every engine builder does that, but our guys have made some gains this year in that area. All you can do is get it from the
crew chief. If you’re short, you may have to conserve, but if you’re good to go, then you just go. The Toyotas seem to get
about — in a full fuel run — we seem to get three to five laps more than those guys. It’s not significant, but it’s enough
where sometimes it can make the difference.”

RICHIE WAUTERS, crew chief, No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

What was your role in tonight’s win?

“When we started out tonight, we weren’t the best truck out there. We had problems, we were a little bit tight and a little bit
free at the same time. We made a few adjustments and it helped it. The last stop we made another adjustment and it was
the best the truck was all night. Of course, with Kyle (Busch) driving, he’s worth something there, too. We’ve been
working hard and the Toyota Tundra was the best it was all night long at the end.”

Todd Bodine, No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Copart / PurpleHeartCars.org Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 4th

How was your race tonight?

“It was a good run. We were free in practice and we thought we had adjusted it and got it better. It was just too free all
through the race. We kept adjusting it until it was as good as it was going to get. Our Copart Tundra was just too free. I got
behind Ron (Hornaday, Jr) and started racing him and got aero-tight and chassis-loose and it was a handful to hang onto. To
come home fourth, it’s not a win. It’s not a third or second, it’s a little disappointing.”

Are you disappointed with this finish?

“We were just too free. The way the rules package is, these Tundras they keep them from running with the other guys so we
have to trim them out and really be free. We stepped over the edge and had it too free. Kyle (Busch) again hit it right on the
money to get it right on without it being loose. It was still a good run. The Copart Tundra was fast. I’m disappointed, we
wanted to get another win at Texas, but fourth is good. The way the middle part of the season was going, I think it we had
five or six top-10s in a row, so I think we’re back in form. We’re doing things right. It’s about all you can do.”

Brian Scott

BRIAN SCOTT, No. 16 Albertsons Toyota Tundra, Xpress Motorsports

Finishing Position: 7th

How was your truck tonight?

“We had a really good Albertsons Toyota Tundra all night. I had to fight track position at the drop of the green — didn’t
have a perfect truck. Jeff Hensley (crew chief) and everybody on the Xpress crew, they made the right adjustments and in
the second run, man we were hauling. We were fast. I think, actually it wasn’t the second run because the first pit stop we
took gas only. After we got tires the next caution after that, we were flying. I think we were fast as any truck out there. We
drove out to fourth. We had a great four tire pit stop. Came back in and pulled out of the gas and a lapped down truck
pinned us in the pits and we gave away all the track position.”

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 Exide Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 8th

David Starr

DAVID STARR, No. 24 Zachry Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Finishing Position: 9th

Are you happy with another top 10 finish?

“It was another top-10. Our Zachry Toyota Tundra was pretty awesome tonight. The team did a great job because our truck
wasn’t very good at the start of the race. We fought a lot of issues until about three-quarters of the way through the race.
Jason Miller, the crew chief, and all the guys on our Zachry team did an excellent job. They finally got it fixed and we
came alive right there at the end. It was a little too late, but we were battling trying to catch up.

We needed another caution to put us in the show. From what we started with to how it ended up, we’re pretty proud and that says a lot about this racing team. It takes the force that we never give up and when our back is up against the wall, we just keep digging. It was pretty good. Not what we wanted, but a top -10 finish and we’ll hold up our head high and leave knowing we gave it everything we got. We just got beat by better trucks tonight and we’ll go win at Phoenix next week.”

(September 26, 2009)- Timothy Peters and the #17 Red Horse Racing team were excited to get back to a mile and a half race track. Armed with Peters’ favorite chassis, the team was optimistic they would be able to battle for the win in Las Vegas. The #17 team spent two practice sessions Saturday morning working hard to get their Toyota Tundra handling better over the bumps in turns one and two. Peters qualified 24th and knew he would have his work cut out for him in the race. When the green flag dropped, Peters knew he would need track position before he could flex his muscle. Crew chief Chad Kendrick gambled with pit strategy to get his driver up front and Peters took care of the rest. The duo brought home a fifth place finish, marking their third top-five finish of the season.

The #17 crew spent much of two practice sessions trying to get their Toyota Tundra handling better on the bumpy surface of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Peters qualified 24th but knew the truck was better than it showed in qualifying.

When the Las Vegas 350 took the green flag, Peters was on a mission to get to the front. An early caution came out on lap three and crew chief Chad Kendrick knew he would have to get his driver off sequence with everyone else to get him to the front. He made the gamble and called Peters to pit road on lap five for fuel and a track bar adjustment.

Peters restarted 24th but was moving up in a hurry. By lap 16, he was running in the 17th position. Another caution flag flew on lap 21 and Peters hit pit road again on lap 23. He picked up fuel, wedge, and track bar adjustments all in one trip down pit road. Most competitors made two trips down pit road so Peters picked up plenty of track position. He restarted from the fifth spot.

Peters radioed the crew his Tundra was just a little free getting into turn three but that he could manage it. Another caution came out on lap 49 and Peters hit pit road on lap 51. He picked up four fresh tires and returned the following lap for fuel and a shock adjustment. He restarted 19th but was headed to the front in a hurry. Peters reached the 10th spot in 30 laps. Still reporting the truck was loose in the center of turns three and four, Peters marched on.

Nearing his fuel window by lap 100, Peters watched as other competitors peeled off and hit pit road under green flag conditions. As the leaders pitted, Peters moved up in the field, eventually taking the lead on lap 116. Needing to fuel up himself, Peters headed for pit road on lap 118. Just after the #17 merged back on the track, the caution came out. Peters was running in the seventh position. The team made the choice to stay out for the final 22 laps of the race.

When green flag racing resumed, Peters restarted from the third spot. He battled each and every lap to hold his position but by the time the checkered flag flew, he was running in the fifth spot. The #17 team was thrilled that pit strategy had paid off and they were able to earn another top-five finish.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will enjoy three weekends off before heading to Martinsville, Virginia. The Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway is scheduled for Saturday, October 24th. It will be televised on SPEED Channel at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

Las Vegas 350

September 26, 2009

· Peters at Vegas… The Las Vegas 350 will mark Timothy Peters’ second start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In only one previous start in 2005, Peters started 27th and finished 26th. Although he has not raced on the new speedway configuration, he logged laps on the redesigned 1.5-mile track during a NASCAR Nationwide Series test in 2007.

· Riding The Momentum… Peters and his #17 Strutmasters.com team suffered a minor set-back last weekend in New Hampshire when the team’s streak of five top-10’s in a row came to an end with a 19th place finish. Peters and the team are not giving up. They plan to start the streak over in Las Vegas and finish out the year in the top-10 each week. The #17 team is also committed to getting Peters inside the top-10 in driver point standings before the end of the season. Peters came into the New Hampshire weekend eighth in the point standings but fell to 11th after the race was over. He and the team are focused on earning as many points as they can each week to secure his spot in the top-10 at the end of the year.

· Peters to Tour Nellis Air Force Base… Peters has the unique opportunity this week to tour a United States Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. Located just a short distance from the race track, Nellis Air Force Base had opened its doors to Timothy Peters and the Red Horse Racing team. Peters will tour different areas of the base and then close with an autograph session at the Air Force Thunderbirds Hanger. Peters will be keeping busy in Las Vegas before he ever arrives at the track. Thursday night he will be participating in a charity bowling tournament at the South Point Casino to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. Friday evening he will be signing autographs at the Stratosphere Casino from 7-8pm.

· Strutmasters.com On Board… Strutmasters was born in owner Chip Lofton’s converted dairy barn in 1999. I haven’t raced on the new configuration but I think my Nationwide Series test in 2007 helped me prepare. We are taking my favorite truck this weekend. Every time we run this chassis we seem to run really well. Hopefully we can get another great finish this weekend and keep the momentum going. We need to get everything we can each week as the season winds down.”

Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on Las Vegas Motor Speedway: “I’m ready to get back to a mile and a half track. This chassis we are taking is Timothy’s favorite. We’ve had a lot of success this year on the mile and a half tracks since joining Red Horse Racing so hopefully this will be another good one for us.”

(September 19, 2009)- Timothy Peters and the #17 Red Horse Racing team were looking forward to hitting the track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After two practice sessions on Friday, the team knew they had an up hill battle with the handling of their Toyota Tundra. Making several changes before qualifying, Peters was optimistic about the race.

He put the #17 in the 19th starting spot and told the crew it would be great for the race. Unfortunately when the race started, Peters had his hands full with an ill handling truck. The crew made several big adjustments throughout the race but couldn’t seem to get the Strutmasters.com Tundra to respond favorably. Peters and the team didn’t give up; they continued to work on it until the final laps. Peters fought hard to bring home a 19th place finish in the Heluva Good 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The #17 Strutmasters.com team worked hard during two practice sessions on Friday afternoon to get their Tundra handling good for the race. Peters put the #17 in the 19th starting spot and told the crew that his Toyota machine would be good for the race.

When the green flag dropped, Peters could tell almost immediately that the handling issues were still there. He picked up a few spots in first laps of the race. By lap five he was running in the 17th position. Peters radioed the crew that his truck needed to be a little freer in the center of turns three and four, but it felt perfect in turns one and two. Just a few laps later he reported that the front tires seemed to be bouncing on the track getting into turn one.

The first caution flag flew on lap 37 and Peters headed to pit road for help with his Toyota Tundra. He asked the team for a big adjustment on the stop. Hitting pit road on lap 39, Peters picked up four fresh tires and came back in the following lap for fuel, a track bar adjustment and shock adjustments on both front ends of the truck. Despite all the time consuming changes, Peters picked up one spot on pit road and restarted 16th.

Timothy Peters

During the next green flag run, Peters could tell that his truck wasn’t any better. He began slipping back and found himself in the 21st spot on lap 49. He told the team that the front end of the truck felt like a dump truck, coming up off the ground and then slamming hard back down on the track. Struggling with his #17 Toyota Tundra, Peters went a lap down to the leader on lap 67.

Another caution flag flew on lap 91 and gave Peters another chance to hit pit road for adjustments. He pulled into his box on lap 93 for four fresh tires. He returned the following lap for another shock adjustment and another track bar adjustment. He restarted 20th.

Knowing that he was the second truck one lap down, Peters was working hard to put himself in position to be the first truck a lap down and earn the “lucky dog” award on the next caution. On lap 99, he reached that spot and waited for a caution but the race went green for the next 90 laps. Running out of fuel, the other competitors had to hit pit road under the green flag. Peters made his green flag pit stop on lap 185. Taking only a splash of gas, he merged back on the track in the 20th spot. Peters got shuffled up on the green flag stop and was no longer in the “lucky dog” position. A caution flew on lap 189 and set the field up for a mad dash to the finish. With just seven laps to go when the field went green for the final time, Peters refused to give up. He picked up another position in the final laps and crossed the start finish line in the 19th spot.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend. The Las Vegas 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th. It will be televised on SPEED Channel at 9:30 p.m. EDT.

Iowa Speedway

Lucas Oil 200

September 5, 2009

· Peters Making First Trip To Iowa… The Lucas Oil 200 will mark the first race at Iowa Speedway for both the Camping World Truck Series and Timothy Peters. Peters has never even been to the state but is looking forward to the new experience. He has been strong on the short tracks this season so the 7/8 mile Newton, Iowa track should come naturally to him. In the four races on tracks smaller than one mile this season, Peters has earned two top-10 finishes at Memphis Motorsports Park and Bristol Motor Speedway.

· Four In A Row… Peters and his #17 Strutmasters.com team have been turning heads since joining Red Horse Racing. In just eight races, they have earned six top-10 finishes, including three top-10 finishes in a row. Last weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, Peters battled a loose handling race truck but was able to bring home a ninth place finish and keep the top-10 streak alive. The team is still chasing that first trip to Victory Lane but feel confident it’s not too far away.

· Fresh Face Adds Youth To the #17 Team… Matt Holzbaur made the move to NASCAR only a year and a half ago but has already developed a passion for the sport. Working as a Manager of a tire and service center in his home town of New Egypt, New Jersey, Holzbaur was looking for a change. He picked up and moved to NC seeking employment in NASCAR. Holzbaur found a job at PIT maintaining the pit school cars and when there was an opening at Red Horse Racing, he quickly filled it. Having pitted ARCA RE/MAX cars in the past, Holzbaur filled the vacant tire carrier position and learned his way around the shop. In the past few months he has developed into an important member of the #17 team, serving as a mechanic on the road crew and turning out fast pit stops each and every week.

Strutmasters.com On Board… Strutmasters was born in owner Chip Lofton’s converted dairy barn in 1999. It provides consumers an affordable alternative to expensive and problematic air ride suspension systems found on luxury vehicles. The company ships suspension conversion kits to thousands of auto repair shops, parts stores and dealers across North America. Retail customers can order by visiting the Strutmasters.com website.

I have never even been to Iowa let alone the race track but I am really looking forward to it. This is another short track and I really love short track racing. I watched the Nationwide race a few months ago so I would have a feel for the track and how it drives. I’m glad we are getting so much practice time. By the end of that we should have it figured out and have a truck that will bring home another top-10 finish.”

Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on Iowa Speedway: “I was at the first race ever at Iowa Speedway a few years ago. I was serving as the Jackman for an ARCA/REMAX team. I heard the track is a lot rougher than it was back then. I have looked over the notes that Toyota gave us from the Nationwide race so I have a good feel for what we are going to need. I’m looking forward to the extra practice time so we can really get our truck driving well before the race.”

Equipment Information: Timothy Peters will compete with chassis # 103 in the Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway. This is the same chassis Johnny Benson raced at Dover International Speedway where he started seventh and finished 20th.

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Chicagoland Speedway — August 28, 2009

- Tundra driver Kyle Busch captured the checkered flag in tonight’s inaugural NCWTS race at Chicagoland Speedway.
It was the fourth NCWTS win of the season for Busch. Earlier this year he picked up NCWTS wins at California, Atlanta
and Bristol.

- It was the eighth NCWTS win of the 2009 season for Toyota and the 59th win for Toyota since the beginning of the 2004
NCWTS season.

- Tundra driver Todd Bodine finished second — his seventh top-10 finish of the 2009 season.

- Busch (79 laps) and Bodine (39 laps) combined to lead 118 of the 150 laps in tonight’s race.

- Busch has now won Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series races at Chicagoland.

- Tundra drivers Aric Almirola (eighth) Timothy Peters (ninth), Terry Cook (10th), Stacy Compton (12th), Mike Skinner
(13th) and TJ Bell (15th) also recorded top-15 finishes tonight.

No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra

KYLE BUSCH, No. 51 Miccosukee Resort & Casino Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Finishing Position: 1st

How special is this win tonight?

“It’s pretty cool, man. This is awesome to come out here with a brand new piece. Thank all these guys from Billy Ballew
Motorsports — the pit crew did a good job tonight. I really want to thank the fans, Miccosukee, Tundra, Toyota — all those
guys that do such an awesome job for us — Gillette, Marquis Jets. Richie (Wauters, crew chief) made a good pit call there
in the beginning of the race to take tires when we did. Luckily, they had that long green flag run. We made it look like we
knew what we were doing and that long run just hurt everybody else — got them behind (Ron) Hornaday, Jr., — he was a
good truck tonight. The 88 (Matt Crafton) was a good truck tonight, too. The right pit strategy kept us up front there. We
had a little trouble coming through traffic sometimes, but once you get up front in clean air — the thing just takes off.”

How did you make the pass on the late restart?

“The pass on the restart I just had to make sure that I got a good restart when I got a good run on him (Todd Bodine) down
on the bottom-side — I just had to stay there. I just had to keep going. Even if he pinched me into turn three, I was going to
have to keep my nose in there because that was the only position I had on him — I had to keep my position. He raced me
great. (Todd) Bodine did a great job — helped Toyota get a win here. He was a fast truck, too — but we kept them Fords
back there. Hopefully, we can do it again.”

Kyle Busch wins the EnjoyIllinois.com 225

How was your truck throughout the race?

“It was a really good night for us. The Miccosukee Tundra was pretty good. We were real proud of the way that we
brought a brand new truck here out of the box. We were dragging in practice a little bit. We had to work through a few
things to get the truck off the race track. It still was hitting during the race — just brushing the race track a little bit. We’re
going to take it home, work on it a little bit, polish it up and get it ready for the next one. Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and
Billy (Ballew, team owner) and all these guys work so hard — they do a great job with not a lot. Real proud of the effort we
had here — a fun night, overall.

The pit strategy worked to our advantage — I think with 20 laps into the race, or something
like that — I thought it was early to get tires, but we decided to get them. Then we went a long run there. I think we went
80 laps or something green and it really paid to our side — I didn’t think it would, but it did. We had a strong truck. We just
had to make sure we kept the right tires on it and kept the right adjustments in it and got the thing up towards the front there.
So, real proud of the way the thing drove out front. It was a little loose in traffic, but fortunately we were able to make it
through the traffic okay.”

What allowed you to make the pass on the late restart?

“I knew I needed a long run. If I could have had a long run, I felt like I could get by him. If I could have got it done in the
first couple laps of a restart, then I knew it would be easier. I just figured that if I could get a good restart — which I really
didn’t get that great of a restart — I got through turns one and two really good, you could hold it wide open for the first few
laps after a restart.

I got a good run through (turns) one and two — sort of drafted up off him a little bit, pulled low down the
back straightaway and got just enough alongside of him that it broke his momentum a little bit and I was able to get him to
give me room getting into turn three. If he (Todd Bodine) didn’t give me room it might have gotten a little ugly, but we made
it work. So, Todd (Bodine) was very gracious and a great racer there — and spared the day for Toyota to finish one-two.”

How does it feel to have won in all three NASCAR series at Chicagoland?

“It’s definitely an accomplishment. I love being able to win races in anything, anywhere — and I don’t know if this is my
fifth venue, or what that I’ve done it at. I’ve got Phoenix done. I’ve got California done. There are five — I can’t name
them all. But, I’m trying for more. So, hopefully we can get some more in there. I’d love to be able to get a sweep at every
place that I’ve been to — time will tell that — hopefully down the road. It’s cool to win here in Chicago. My parents are
from just outside (Chicago) in the suburbs. They grew up around this area. My girlfriend is from around here — just across
the border in Indiana. So, it’s really cool to sort of come to this second home in the Midwest and win in front of all the
family and friends here.”

Todd Bodine, No. 30 Ventrilo Toyota Tundra

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Ventrilo Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

What happened on the late race restart and the pass for the lead?

“When Kyle (Busch) got by me I got too good a restart. Got some space in between us and it’s a lot like Daytona racing
and he got a draft on me and drafted past me. I should have thought of that. It’s my own fault. We had a better truck than
he (Kyle Busch) had — that’s the way it goes. This Ventrilo Tundra was still really good. It wasn’t that good to start. We
made some great adjustments and got it handling real good. I could run wide-open when I was by myself. That’s how you
go fast around here. Unfortunately, Kyle (Busch) got in front of me.”

Enjoy Illinois.com 225

August 28, 2009

· Peters New To Chicagoland… The EnjoyIllinois 225 will mark the first race at Chicagoland Speedway for both the Camping World Truck Series and Timothy Peters. Peters has tested at the Illinois 1.5-mile several times, turning hundreds of laps on the truck in recent years. Although a short track racer at heart, Peters is strong on the intermediate tracks as well. He has earned six top-15 finishes, including four top-10’s in only nine intermediate track races this season.

· Keeping the Momentum Going… Peters and his #17 Strutmasters.com team have been turning heads since joining Red Horse Racing. In just seven races, they have earned five top-10 finishes, including back to back top-10 finishes in the past two events. Last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, Peters overcame a flat tire and subsequent unscheduled pit stop late in the race to come back and finish 10th. The race before that, he tied his career best finish of fourth at Nashville Superspeedway and earned his first career pole. Peters is still chasing that first trip to Victory Lane but feels confident it’s not too far away.

· Birthday Boy… Timothy Peters will celebrate his 29th birthday on August 29th, just one day after the Chicagoland Race. He would love to kick-off the Birthday weekend with a trip to Victory Lane. RHR teammate TJ Bell also celebrates his birthday this week. Bell turns 29 just four days before Peters.

· Mechanic Adds Color to the #17 Team… Mark Schmuck serves as mechanic and comic relief for the #17 Strutmasters.com team. Always full of energy and a witty comment to keep everyone laughing, Schmuck has made NASCAR his home for the past decade. Taking a risk and moving to Mooresville, NC from Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1999, Schmuck was hired by driver Mike McLaughlin to work on his Nationwide Series car.

The team was Innovative Motorsports and Schmuck worked side by side with Rick Gay, who is now the #11 crew chief at RHR. In his NASCAR career, Schmuck has worked in all three top NASCAR series including teams such as Atkins Motorsports and DEI. He joined RHR in 2009 as a Jackman but also serves as a mechanic on the road and a fabricator at the shop. Schmuck is looking forward to the trip to Chicago for one special reason—Chicago Style Pizza.

“I’m really looking forward to Chicagoland. I have tested there several times in the past and really like the race track. It’s so much like Kansas and that’s a track I really like. We are taking my favorite truck to Chicago and I’m really excited about that. This is our truck from Michigan, Kentucky and Nashville and we finished in the top-10 all three times with it. I’m looking forward to another good race and being there at the end racing for a win.”

Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on Chicagoland Speedway

“Timothy has been really good on the mile and a half tracks this year. We tested Chicago together last year and ran more than 100 laps so I know he feels comfortable on the track. That will really go along way on Friday towards getting us where we need to be. We have so much momentum right now and we need to get another top-10, hopefully a top-five finish, and keep that going.”

Equipment Information: Timothy Peters will compete with chassis # 138 in the EnjoyIllinois 225 at Chicagoland Speedway. This is the same chassis he raced at Michigan, Kentucky, and Nashville where he finished eighth, fourth and fourth respectively.

(August 19, 2009)- The high banking, concrete surface and the double-wide, high-tempered racing makes Bristol Motor Speedway one of Timothy Peters favorite tracks to race on. Wednesday night, Peters and his #17 Red Horse Racing team showed they knew how to tame the Tennessee short track. The Strutmasters.com Toyota Tundra started from the eighth spot and ran inside the top-10 for much for the 200-lap event.

Hard racing and older tires made for a bad combination on lap 172 when the right front tire of the #17 machine went flat. Fortunately a caution came out and Peters was able to change tires and stay on the lead lap. He rallied back and fought his way through the field from the 14th position to the 10th spot when the checkered flag fell. Peters earned his second top-10 finish in a row and his seventh top-10 of the season.

The #17 Strutmasters.com team had a busy day on Wednesday. Two practice sessions, qualifying and the O’Reilly 200 were all packed into one day. The team worked diligently during practice to get their Toyota Tundra running perfectly for the race. By the end of final practice, Peters was third quick and feeling confident in his race truck.

He put the #17 Red Horse Racing machine in the eighth starting spot but had his sights set on the front. When the green flag dropped, Peters was on the move and determined to find the lead. Running consistent lap times, he had already picked up one position by lap six but needed some adjustments before he could go any further. The first caution came out on lap 35 and Peters told his crew that he needed to be tightened up a little bit. Crew chief Chad Kendrick called his driver to pit road on lap 37 for a track bar adjustment and fuel only. Peters restarted fifth.

Timothy Peters

The adjustment made the #17 Strutmasters.com Tundra come alive and Peters made the pass for the fourth and third positions on lap 45. Another caution came out on lap 50 but Peters stayed out on the race track. He restarted third but claimed the second spot just one lap later. He followed the leader, watching his every move and formulated a plan to get by him but another caution on lap 65 kept him from making the pass. When the field restarted once again, Peters got bottled up behind lap trucks, got passed and slipped back to the third spot. Kendrick came on the radio and told his driver to save his equipment since there were another 100 laps remaining in the race.

Peters became the victim of some hard racing with lap down trucks once again. When a truck that was a lap down wasn’t letting the #17 machine go by, the two got together and the right front fender and nose of the #17 sustained damage. It hurt the aerodynamics of the truck enough that Peters slipped back to the fifth and then sixth positions before another caution came out on lap 149 for debris. Peters told the crew his truck was too loose on the bottom of the race track but a little too snug in the top groove of the track. Some competitors opted to hit pit road but Kendrick chose a different strategy and told his driver to stay out. Peters agreed that was the right decision and reassured the team they would get a good finish. The #17 Strutmasters.com Tundra restarted fifth.

The right front fender damage he sustained much earlier wreaked havoc on the #17 machine. Peters radioed the crew on lap 172 that his right front tire had gone flat. He tried to get to the bottom of the race track and hit pit road but got pinned up top by the train of trucks still coming. The caution came out on lap 173 and gave Peters a chance to hit pit road and get four fresh tires without losing a lap. The #17 lost track position and had to restart 14th for the final 25 laps of the race. Fueled by frustration, Peters went to work on his competitors and was able to work his way to the 11th spot in less than 10 laps. Peters was determined to get back inside the top-10. In the closing laps of hard racing, Peters was able to reach the 10th position and earn another top-10 finish for his Red Horse Racing team.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will head to Joliet, Illinois next weekend. The Enjoy Illinois 225 at Chicagoland Speedway is scheduled for Friday evening, August 28th. It will be televised on SPEED Channel at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
