Interstate Batteries Logo Long-Term Deal Assures JGR Founding Sponsor Will Surpass 20 Seasons in NASCAR DALLAS (June 3, 2010) – Interstate Batteries announced today that it has reached an agreement on a long-term extension of its sponsorship package with Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), which paves the way for one of NASCAR’s longest-standing partnerships to surpass the 20-year milestone. Interstate Batteries first established its sponsorship of JGR prior to the 1992 season, enabling the start-up team to open up its doors for competition in time for that year’s season-opening Daytona 500.
