Kyle Busch, with a lap speed of 172.419 mph, was the fastest during the first NNS Feed the Children 300 practice session at Kentucky Speedway.

Second fastest was Carl Edwards with a lap speed of 171.778 mph, followed by Brad Keselowski (171.619) who was third fastest, Elliott Sadler (171.494) fourth fastest and Joey Logano (171.429) was fifth fastest.

Rounding out the top-ten fastest in practice were Kevin Harvick (171.331) who was sixth fastest, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (171.043) seventh, Jason Leffler (170.460) eighth, Mark Martin (170.369) ninth and Brian Scott (170.111) was the tenth fastest.

The teams will return Friday morning for their 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (EDT) final practice session, before qualifying at 3:05 PM (EDT) to determine the starting lineup for that evening’s race (scheduled to get underway a little after 7:30 PM – EDT). FULL STORY »
