Jeff Gordon finished out the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season with winning the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, as Brad Keselowski claims the series championship with his 15th-place finish.
This was Gordon's 2nd series victory of the 2012 season, his 87th series career victory and his 1st series victory at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Following Gordon by 1.028 seconds to the drop of the checkered flag was Clint Bowyer finishing second, and they were followed by Ryan Newman who finished third, Kyle Busch fourth and Greg Biffle finished in third.
Rounding out the top-ten finishing positions were Martin Truex, Jr., bringing home a sixth-place finish, Aric Almirola seventh, Kevin Harvick eighth, Kurt Busch ninth and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., finishing in the tenth position.
