It was Jason Leffler, with a lap speed of 166.966 mph, showing the fastest way around Kansas Speedway during the final NNS Kansas Lottery 300 practice session.

Justin Allgaier was second fastest with a lap speed of 166.749 mph, and was followed by Steve Wallace (166.600) who was third fastest, Trevor Bayne (166.512) fourth fastest and Danica Patrick (166.236) was the fifth fastest.

Rounding out the top-ten fastest during “Happy Hour” were Aric Almirola (165.878) who was sixth fastest, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (165.421) seventh, Mike Bliss (165.411) eighth, Paul Menard (165.335) ninth and Brian Scott (165.224) posting the tenth fastest lap speed.

The teams will return to the track Saturday morning for their 10:05 AM (EDT) scheduled qualifying session, which will determine the starting lineup for that afternoon’s Kansas Lottery 300 (3:50 PM – EDT – approximate start). FULL STORY »
