“Donny is a proven two-time Champion in the NASCAR Whelen Series and working together with another proven Champion Crew Chief Trip Bruce and all the guys on our #90 Team should prove to be an exciting time this weekend”. Says Doug Stringer. “Donny is a great addition to our Stringer Motorsports team along with our other driver Brad Sweet who will soon be featured once again in the #90 Great Clips Racing Truck”.

“I am really looking forward to this opportunity to work with Crew Chief Trip Bruce and the guys at Stringer Motorsports.” says Lia. “ I am thankful for the opportunity that Doug Stringer is giving me to drive his #90 truck, and I couldn’t imagine being able to work with a better group of guys as I try to reach my personal goal of being successful in this series with solid finishes and hopefully some more wins in this truck series. I have been plagued with some bad luck in the trucks this year, and hopefully we can turn that around and bring home some solid finishes in the #90 truck.

I am looking forward to soaking up the knowledge from Trip, since he is a proven winner, and hopefully I can begin to experience the same success in the truck series as I have in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series over the past couple of years. I only have one previous start at Kentucky Speedway and although I find the track itself is a rough track, I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out the best way to maneuver my way around it”. Said Lia.

“Our team is real excited to work with Donny this weekend. We have a great group of guys that dedicate themselves to this team and my car chief Donnie Tarantino comes from a Modified background like Donny Lia does, so this should be fun working with him”. “The last time I was at Kentucky in the truck series, we won in 2008 with Johnny Benson, so a repeat of that would be awesome. Donny Lia is a great driver and this Stringer Motorsports Team is looking forward to him driving our truck”. Says Crew Chief Trip Bruce.

The green flag for the Built Ford Tough 225 presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers is scheduled to drop at 8:00 pm EST. Racing coverage will air live on SPEED and MRN. SPEED will begin their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Set Up show at 7:30pm and MRN coverage will begin at 7:45pm EST.

Sweet himself has been extremely busy since his NCWTS career best 8th place finish at ORP, with back to back race weeks with his Kasey Kahne Racing team racing in the Belleville Nationals as well as the Knoxville Nationals. Although plagued with some bad luck in Knoxville, His overall weekend at Belleville was outstanding after a sweeping victory night one of the Belleville Nationals and finishing 2nd on the final night!

After the race in Bristol, Brad Sweet will taking off for North Dakota where he will be racing his #49 Kasey Kahne Racing World of Outlaws car this weekend.

Doug Stringer, team owner of the #90 Great Clips Racing Team is looking forward to Sweet having an opportunity to run at Bristol. “Brad has been coming off a lot of time running short tracks the past couple of weeks so this should prove to be an exciting event for the #90 Great Clips Team.”

Sweet on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway- ” I am really excited to finally race at Bristol. I can remember the first time that I ever watched a race here and how unbelievable it was. I am excited to race our #90 Great Clips racing truck with the crew that we have and hope to bring home another solid Top-10 finish.”

Veteran Trip Bruce on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway– “I am anticipating that Brad will do well at Bristol. The same intensity that it takes for him to race his World of Outlaws will be required here at Bristol. Brad is a great competitor driven to win, and as he is getting more familiar with these trucks I believe that you will see that evident in his on track performances”.

Equipment Info- Sweet and his #90 Great Clips Racing Team will be taking Chassis #97. The last time this chassis was raced was earlier this year at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Team Fast Facts- Bristol Motor Speedway

Stringer Motorsports mechanic and fabricator Shannon Bryant was also a competitor at one time at Bristol Motor Speedway with his own Top-5 finish under his belt. Shannon competed in the 1999 Goody’s Dash Series qualifying 6th and finished the race in 5th place.

Crew Chief Trip Bruce also has some impressive stats at Bristol Motor Speedway: In 2006 he received the Wypall Crew Chief of the Race Award with Kasey Kahne piloting the car in the Nationwide Series. Bruce also won the first 2008 NCWTS race with Johnny Benson behind the wheel with the new track configuration.

International Speedway last month.

A blown motor by the No. 88 of Matt Crafton would jumble up the field closing in on the finish of the ninth race of the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season. On the restart, a spin by former Formula One driver Nelson Piquet would again bunch up the field for what would turn out to be the final restart of the day.

<img src="http://www.catchfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/2010-Michigan-June-NCWTS-Almirola-Wins-VFW-200-280x191.jpg" alt="Aric Almirola celebrates his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win Saturday in Michigan International Speedway's Victory Lane in Brooklyn, Mich. (Photo Credit: Rusty Jarrett/Getty Images for NASCAR)

On the restart, Busch battled leader Todd Bodine on the restart before Aric Almirola in the No. 51 Zyclara / Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra snickered into the mix and found himself in the middle of a three-wide battle with Busch and Bodine for several laps before finally clearing the former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion with seven laps remaining which ultimately allowed Almirola to capture the checkered flag for the second time in a month. Bodine had to settle for second, a truck best at the two-mile speed plant.

“We struggled at the beginning of the race just being really tight. Dirty air was so bad today. Clean air was so important and we got to the front and we got in clean air and it just was a different truck. It drove great. It was a little bit free where I had fought tight all day, but Richie Wauters (crew chief) and all the guys at Billy Ballew Motorsports – they work their tails off all week long and it shows man,” sounded Almirola

He went on to say, “we had an awesome truck. I want to thank Graceway Pharmaceuticals. They stuck behind us and they’ve been a great supporter of ours. I want to thank the fans – what a crowd today. I was doing my burnout there and I seen them all cheering and waving and stuff so that’s cool. That makes you feel good when you come and see a packed house like that.”

Kyle Busch in his No. 18 unsponsored Toyota Tundra finished third. A frustrated Busch said “the driver didn’t get it done” as to why he did not take his Kyle Busch Motorsports team to victory lane for the second time this season.

Ron Hornaday Jr., in his final race with Longhorn Moist Snuff as the primary sponsor of his Kevin Harvick Inc. owned No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado before new rules enforced by the Food and Drug Administration will prevent cigarette and smokeless tobacco sponsorships in sporting events as of June 22 finished fourth after starting on the outside pole.

Pole-sitter Austin Dillon was able to recover from a piece of speedy dry in his eye (which was attended to during the red flag for rain in the infield care center) and a late-race penalty to net his second consecutive top-five finish after notching his second straight NCWTS pole.

Red Horse Racing’s Timothy Peters took sixth. Jason White in a Ford F-150 for the second time this year recovered from a poor qualifying run to finish seventh in his No. 23 GunBroker.com machine. Randy Moss Motorsports’ David Starr recovered from being a beneficiary of the Aaron’s lucky dog to finish eighth. He was followed in toe by Elliott Sadler who recovered from a flat tire and two-lap deficit to steal ninth with Almirola’s teammate Nelson Piquet also making a nice comeback from the final yellow flag of the second of three races of the weekend at MIS to close out the top-10.

After starting ninth, Stacy Compton finished 11th. Donny Lia in the No. 07 Outdoor Channel Outfitters notched a solid top-15 finish by placing 13th for SS Green Light Racing while Ricky Carmichael in the No. 4 Monster Energy Drink Chevrolet Silverado edged out fellow Turner Motorsports teammate James Buescher for 15th and 16th respectively.

Florida native Chris Fontaine in the No. 84 Gleden Enterprises Chevrolet Silverado bounced back from the first caution flag of the day to post a top-20 finish with Justin Lofton, the 2009 ARCA Racing Series champion maintaining his starting position to claim 18th.

Brad Sweet in his Michigan debut for Stringer Motorsports steered his No. 90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra to 19th while the other Sadler, Hermie comprised the remainder of the top-20 drivers.

Birthday girl Jennifer Jo Cobb muscled another solid effort by posting a 21st place run while former ARCA Racing Series standout Mario Gosselin wheeled his No. 12 TireMonkey.com Chevrolet to 23rd.

Brett Butler, the son of Aaron’s President Ken Butler was the highest running driver from the Rick Ware Racing clan as he claimed 24th with teammate Donnie Neuenberger right behind to round out the top-25.

Michael Guerity, making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in front of his hometown crowd at MIS soldiered on from his 35th place starting position in the No. 01 Koma Unwind Chevrolet Silverado to place 26th in the Daisy Ramirez Motorsports entry.

Brent Raymer in the Ford Drive one Ford F-150 exited the field early on lap 30 with a vibration while several start and park vehicles brought up the rear of the field that included Chad McCumbee (30th), Mike Garvey (31st), Chris Jones (33rd), Mike Harmon (34th) and J.C. Stout (36th). Chase Austin, making a return to the series for the first time since early 2009 fell out of competition 10 laps into the contest when the motor in his No. 46 Walgreens / Team Gill Racing Dodge Ram expired.

Bodine, who led the most laps at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday with 33 maintains first in the championship chase with a 55-point edge over race winner Almirola. The Germain Racing driver is the only driver to record eight top-five finishes in nine of the races run this season, compared to Almirola’s three top-fives and seven top-10’s.

Crafton was the biggest loser of the weekend slipping three spots in the standings to 10th following his disappointing 27th place run. Jason White was the first of the drivers inside the top-10 to swap a spot as he jumped from eighth to seventh following his third top-10 run of 2010. There were no drastic changes in the truck owner standings.

Before exiting the Media Center during post-race interviews, Bodine left the media with a statement that virtually brought the room to a complete standstill. “A lot of guys in this sport have lost site of that fact of why we’re here and why we do this. It’s a damn shame that some people can’t go back out there and enjoy it,” he said. “I just want you to all know that the Truck Series is a lot of fun and this is what we do every week. A lot of you guys don’t see us every week, but this is what we do and we have fun doing it and it’s a crying shame that the rest of these guys can’t.”

Saturday’s race was halted for nearly 40 minutes after a light shower dampened the two-mile oval nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan just 13 laps from halfway.

Round 10 for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series takes the series out west to Newton, Iowa for the running of the Lucas Oil 200 set for Sunday, July 11 live on SPEED, MRN and Sirius Satellite Radio NASCAR channel 128 beginning at 2:00 p.m. local.

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Michigan International Speedway – June 12, 2010

- Aric Almirola earned his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) win on Saturday at
Michigan International Speedway.

- Almirola led only the final seven laps of the 100-lap race, which included a series track record of 20 lead changes
among 10 drivers.

- The victory was the 71st for Toyota since entering the NCWTS in 2004 and third at the two-mile track, which was also
the site of the first Toyota win in NASCAR (2004).

- Tundra drivers Todd Bodine (second), Kyle Busch (third), Timothy Peters (sixth), David Starr (eighth) and Nelson
Piquet Jr. (10th) also earned top-10 finishes.

- Toyota drivers Mike Skinner (12th), Justin Lofton (18th) and Brad Sweet (19th) were also in the field.

- Bodine continues to lead in the unofficial NCWTS point standings, now 55 points ahead of second-place Almirola.
Peters (third), Skinner (sixth) and Starr (eighth) are also in the top-10 in points after nine of 25 races.

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 51 Zyclara / Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports
Finishing Position: 1st

How was your race today?

“We struggled at the beginning of the race just being really tight. Dirty air was so bad today. Clean air was so important and we got to the front and we got in clean air and it just was a different truck. It drove great. It was a little bit free where I had fought tight all day, but Richie Wauters (crew chief) and all the guys at Billy Ballew Motorsports – they work their tails off all week long and it shows man. We had an awesome truck.

What adjustments did your team make during the race to give you a winning truck?

“We struggled just being really tight. We worked on it and worked on it and tried to get it freed up but dirty air was so bad. On those last couple restarts I knew if I could just get to the front we’ll have a different truck and sure enough we got to the front and as soon as we got to the front it was a totally different truck. It drove great. I don’t think I lifted those last 10 laps. My hats off to Billy Ballew (team owner), Richie Wauters (crew chief) and everybody at Billy Ballew Motorsports. Our Graceway Pharmaceuticals Tundra was awesome today.”

What happened on the final 10 laps?

“This place you can draft so well, but at the same time I knew if I kept Todd’s (Bodine) nose in dirty air that I could upset his truck. And that’s what I tried to do. I tried to break the draft down the straightaways as much as possible and in the corners I tried to take his lane away so he could get tight. Fortunate enough for us today, that was the key.”

How did you feel when you were racing three-wide to take the lead?

“I didn’t think it was the greatest place to be. I knew we were going to run wide open through the corner and we were either going to crash or we were going to make it out the other side because I knew how important clean air was. I knew that was my only shot to get out in the lead and if I didn’t get out in the lead then there was no chance of us winning the race. I went down in turn one and I knew that I was going to run a shorter distance than Todd (Bodine) do I just tried to hold tight on Kyle’s (Busch) door to get him loose, which I did and by the time I got off turn two, I was almost clear Todd. Then when we went through (turns) three and four, I cleared him. I think that was the move of the race as far as I’m concerned for winning the race. Our truck, in dirty air, just wasn’t as good as it needed to be. That was key.”

RICHIE WAUTERS, crew chief, No. 51 Zyclara / Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports
What adjustments were you able to make on the truck today?

“Early in the race, he (Aric Almirola) was a little tight on exit. The first adjustments we made, we took some wedge out and made a track bar adjustment. It seemed to make a little bit of difference, but it still wasn’t enough. In the Truck Series, when you only get to stop twice, you have to make sure you get it the next time. We made a pretty big air adjustment on it and it was still a little bit tight, but once he got out in the clean air, it was good.”

BILLY BALLEW, team owner, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Are you surprised by the early success of Aric Almirola this year?

“First and foremost, I am so proud of what we have been able to achieve and with the success with a very limited budget in the 15 truck when Aric (Almirola) drove it last year and I think he finished second five or six times. Then he drove the 51 in a couple races and we were running for the owner’s championship and there was no doubt what was possible. There was never a question or debate. When Kyle (Busch) was going his direction, we were fortunate enough to have Graceway Pharmaceuticals come on as a sponsor and Toyota and TRD (Toyota Racing Development) and all that they do for us. There was never anything to discuss, it was a given.”

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Germain.com Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

How do you feel about finishing second in today’s race?

“You never like to lose, that’s for sure. We had a great Tundra – Germain crew did a great job. Aric (Almirola) was just
good at the end when he needed it. Richie Wauters (Almirola crew chief) has proved over and over – he put Kyle (Busch) in victory lane and he’s going to put Aric in there also. We had a great race truck. That’s Camping World Truck Series racing at its finest. That’s what its about and that’s why people love to watch our races and come to the races. It’s hard-nosed, go get ‘em every lap racing and it’s a lot of fun.”

How instrumental was your crew in your finish?

“I said it all along and I say it every week, I have the best crew on pit road. They do one hell of a job and they got us off pit road first. On the second run, our truck was too tight in the middle and the last run, it was too tight on exit. That’s why I just couldn’t roll up outside of Aric (Almirola), I got too tight outside on exit. The crew, they build great Tundras, put them on the race track every week and knock on wood, we’ll keep doing it and keep plugging away and keep these top-fives – when we can win, we win.”

How do you feel about your team at this point in the season?

“We’re back in our form. At the beginning of the year we were struggling pretty hard. (Mike Hillman) Jr. (crew chief) got it
figured out and now the trucks are driving incredibly well. It’s fast, it’s doing what we need it to do and we just have to
continue doing what we’re doing. We didn’t come here to finish second, but we finished second and you have to look at it as a points day. Aric (Almirola) gained five or three points on us because he won. We stayed right with him that was good. We look forward to every race. This one’s over and where are we going next? Iowa. It was a good day. Nobody likes to lose. Unlike a lot of people, I’m not a sore loser. I’m happy for Aric and Billy (Ballew, team owner) and Richie Wauters (crew chief) and the whole bunch. They worked hard. They’ve proved that they can put any driver in there and win now. That means a lot to a race team and a group of guys that work their guts out every week to put these things on the race track. I’m proud of them to go out there and be able to do that. At the same time, I have to say that I’m proud of Austin (Dillon) for what he’s doing. He’s doing a hell of a job – a rookie and never been at these places. Doing awesome.”

Were you surprised when Aric Almirola took the lead from you?

“I won’t say that I was surprised, maybe it caught me a little off guard. On that restart, I told (Mike Hillman) Jr., ‘Man, this is tough, who do you want behind you?’ Be on the outside or be on the inside and take the chance of having him drive around you. So I chose Kyle (Busch) and the outside. Aric’s (Almirola) is a hell of a racer and they had a good truck when it counted. That just proves you can never count them out. They are always going to be there. On a short run like that, especially as many laps as we rode around under caution with the tires cooling down, everybody’s handling pretty good for three or four or five laps. I really believe if the race was 10 laps longer that I probably would have beat him. He was starting to get really tight down there blocking me and I was still rolling good. I wasn’t getting any tighter, I was still rolling good and the longer the run went, the faster our truck was. Like racing with Kyle, I could really beat him off the corner and that’s what was going to happen with Aric if it was another 10 laps, but it wasn’t another 10 laps. It just proves again how good this series really is and how good the competition is and why our fan base and TV audience is growing. The Camping World Truck Series is proving every week that we deserve to be here racing and putting on great shows for our fans.”

What was it like racing three-wide at the end of the race?

“For me it was easy, I was on the outside. I think Aric (Almirola) was in the middle so it was a little harder for him because I am taking some of his air. I made sure I gave him plenty of room. I won’t name names, but there’s a lot of drivers that pinch you right down and suck the air off of you and spin you out. I wasn’t going to do that. It was too good of a race and that’s what racing is all about. Then Kyle (Busch) was on the inside and he had it the toughest. It looked spectacular and it really is when you’re inside there. There’s a couple times when my spotter called, ‘Four-wide.’ I was like, you have to be kidding me. It was fun and that was great racing. I finished second and second sucks, but I had a lot of fun.”

How much did you enjoy today’s race?

“This is why I started racing. A lot of guys in this sport have lost site of that fact of why we’re here and why we do this. It’s a damn shame that some people can’t go back out there and enjoy it. I just want you to all know that the Truck Series is a lot of fun and this is what we do every week. A lot of you guys don’t see us every week, but this is what we do and we have fun doing it and it’s a crying shame that the rest of these guys can’t.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports

Finishing Position: 3rd

Did you have anything at the end of today’s race?

“Just didn’t have enough unfortunately. Can’t thank Toyota enough, M&M’s and all the guys on this team. They gave me a good truck and the driver didn’t get it done.”

What happened on the restart with Todd Bodine?

“Just typical NASCAR restart. He (Todd Bodine) slowed down, didn’t go by the first one, he went by the second one, it was fine and it was legal. Then he didn’t go. He held his truck part throttle to where I had to slow down so I didn’t beat him to the start-finish line. He just suckered me and then (Ron) Hornaday got me three-wide going down into turn one. The race for the wreck was on.”

What were the challenges you faced with your truck today?

“My truck was all over the place so I could run the top in (turns) one and two and the bottom in three and four. When you can only run a specific line and you can’t move around the race track anywhere else, then you’re stuck. Especially here, you can’t pass a guy down on the bottom of one and two because you’re loose down there and you can’t go up high in one and two and get on their outside because then you’re going to be loose in three and four. Just frustrating the way we didn’t have it right.”

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

Finishing Position: 6th

DAVID STARR, No. 81 Zachry Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 8th

How was your truck in today’s race?

“Our Zachry Toyota Tundra was a handful today. It was tough. It was so wicked loose that we went a lap down. I just
couldn’t drive it and it was unbearable. The first couple pit stops, we dropped the track bar. (Turns) three and four were
awesome, but I couldn’t turn the wheel left in one and two – you have to be able to turn to go through the corners when you’re racing. It was ugly. The team made some changes and they were some good adjustments that made the truck come alive. Then we got lucky and the caution came out and we got the lucky dog and we were able to battle back to a top-10 finish. It was just a team effort and we never gave up.”

NELSON PIQUET JR., No. 15 Qualcomm / ArcSight Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Finishing Position: 10th

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 International Trucks / Monaco RV Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 12th

JUSTIN LOFTON, No. 7 VisitPit.com Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

Finishing Position: 18th

BUESCHER AT KANSAS… Buescher has made one previous start at Kansas Speedway, as he competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event last season (2009). The 20-year-old earned his career best Truck Series qualifying position, to roll off the starting grid from eighth-place. After severe thunderstorms and tornadoes moved through the area, Buescher and the rest of the field resumed racing on Monday, where the youngster finished in the 12th position, completing 100% of the laps competed (132 of 132).

TWO RACES, TWO STATES, THREE DAYS… This weekend, Buescher will pull double duty – but not the double duty that most drivers will be doing. After the completion of the Nationwide Series race at Richmond, Buescher will fly to Kansas City, Kansas to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway. Practice and qualifying are scheduled for Saturday, with the race taking place on Sunday. For the first time this season, Buescher will pilot the No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Chevrolet for Turner Motorsports.

SECOND START OF 2010… Kansas will mark Buescher’s second start in the 2010 Truck Series season. Earlier this month, Buescher competed at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway in the No. 90 Great Clips Toyota for Stringer Motorsports. After qualifying for the race in the 20th position, Buescher put forth a solid effort as he crossed the finish line in 13th-place.

REARVIEW MIRROR… Buescher has competed in 27 Truck Series races in his short career. After making his first series start for Billy Ballew Motorsports at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2008, Buescher moved to Circle Bar Racing to compete full-time in 2009. In April, Buescher recorded his first start of 2010 for Stringer Motorsports and now moves to his part-time effort with Turner Motorsports. In those previous career starts, Buescher has scored one top-five, three top-10, and 14 top-15 finishes.

DID YOU KNOW?… This weekend’s event will be the first time Turner Motorsports has fielded two entries in NASCAR competition. Buescher and his teammate Ricky Carmichael, who competes on a full-time basis in the No. 4 Monster Energy Chevrolet, will carry the flag for the first-year team.

DYNAMIC DUO… Buescher started his racing career on two-wheels, as he raced motocross growing up as a kid. But by the age of 12, his parents decided to help him switch to stock cars, as they wanted to lower the risk of getting hurt. Even before the Texas native started his stock car career, Buescher watched Carmichael compete and win races and championships in the legends’ stout two-wheel career. Now, Buescher is teammates with the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) at Turner Motorsports.

CALLING THE SHOTS… Kansas also marks another first for crew chief Michael Shelton. Shelton will call his first race on top of the pit box this weekend. Before joining Turner Motorsports in October 2009, Shelton worked at Joe Gibbs Racing for three years, serving as the car chief on the No. 18 Nationwide Series entry for two years before moving to the front suspension and brake specialist on the No. 20 Chevrolet in the Sprint Cup Series. Buescher and Shelton have a past working relationship, as Shelton worked on the young gun’s ASA Late Model in 2006, en route to the Championship and Rookie of the Year Award.

CHASSIS INFORMATION… Crew chief Michael Shelton has chosen Turner Motorsport chassis No. 11 for Buescher to run at Kansas this weekend. Chassis No. 11 is brand new, as Kevin Harvick Inc. put the body on the Leavitt chassis. This Chevrolet will see the track for this first time during the practice session on Saturday.

TWEET, TWEET… To stay up to date during the 2010 season, follow driver James Buescher (@JamesBuescher) and team Turner Motorsports (@TurnerMotorspts) on Twitter. Also, please visit www.teamturnermotorsports.com for additional updates.

STAY UP TO SPEED… The O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 from Kansas Speedway will take the green flag this Sunday, May 2nd at 1 PM Eastern. Race coverage will be televised live on SPEED, beginning at 12:30 PM Eastern. In addition, Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio (Channel 128) will have the live radio broadcast, beginning at 1 PM Eastern.

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Kansas Speedway for Turner Motorsports): “I’m excited to finally get behind the wheel of the No. 31 Wolfpack Rental Chevrolet. The team has proved already this season that they put together fast trucks and can run up front each week, which makes me ready to go racing and work with these guys. They have worked hard the past few weeks to get trucks put together and I’m optimistic about our chances to compete with the veterans. Hopefully, Ricky and I can go out there and bring home two solid finishes for the Turner Motorsports team.”

BUESCHER (On being teammates with Ricky Carmichael): “I started racing motocross as a kid. I raced locally but never really got anywhere. When I was 12, my parents decided they didn’t want to worry about me getting hurt so they got me a race car. Now, I’m on the same Truck team as Ricky (Carmichael), who was winning races when I was a kid. Before I even started racing, we’d watch him and Jeremy McGrath – he’s definitely one of the best.”

VENUE: NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY (1.333-MILE D-SHAPED OVAL)

CIRCUIT: NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES (RACE 5 OF 35)

DATE: APRIL 3, 2010 (225 LAPS, 300 MILES)

BUESCHER AT NASHVILLE… Buescher has made two career starts at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway – his first in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards in 2008, followed by his second last season (2009) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Two seasons ago in the ARCA Racing Series event, Buescher started from the third position and finished in 17th-place after a late race accident forced the driver to the rear of the field. Last year, the Texas native started the Truck Series race from the 16th position, but faced an ill-handling truck, relegating the driver to a 17th-place effort.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY… Last Thursday as the NASCAR Nationwide Series enjoyed a weekend away from the track, Buescher celebrated his 20th birthday at his Texas home with family and friends.

DOUBLE DUTY… This weekend at Nashville, Buescher will pull double duty, as he competes in both the Truck Series and Nationwide Series events on Friday and Saturday respectively. Buescher will pilot the No. 90 Great Clips entry for Stringer Motorsports in his 2010 NCWTS debut on Friday, in addition to his full-time effort in the No. 1 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet on Saturday.

POINTS CHECK… After the completion of four races, Buescher currently sits in the 16th position in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship driver point standings. The 20-year-old is 55 points behind 10th-place Brian Vickers and only four points behind 15th-place Michael Annett. In addition, Buescher remains the leader of the Raybestos Rookie of the Year point standings, holding a three point lead over second-place Brian Scott.

LOOKING BACK… Two weeks ago at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, Buescher rolled off the starting grid from the 12th position. In his first Nationwide Series start at “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile” Buescher quickly moved into the top-10 by the completion of lap one. Six laps later, Buescher and another competitor made contact, which resulted in front and rear damage. The No. 1 Chevrolet came to pit road under green twice for fresh right-side tires and fender repairs, losing a total of 12 laps to the leaders. On lap 124, Buescher and a fellow competitor made contact, resulting in major damage to the Chevrolet. After assessing the damage behind the wall, Buescher and his Phoenix Racing crew’s day was ended short, as they left Thunder Valley with a 36th-place finish.

DID YOU KNOW?… Buescher has already won a coveted guitar trophy in Nashville. In 2005 at the Music City Motorplex, located at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville, the youngster drove a Legends car to Victory Lane, claiming the one-of-a-kind trophy.

TWEET OF THE WEEK… To celebrate his 20th birthday, Buescher tweeted on March 26th a picture of Memphis’ famous Rendezvous ribs with the message “Tonight’s dinner! These are the best!” The young gun orders the ribs to his house to cook occasionally, as Rendezvous was a must-stop restaurant on his schedule when racing in Memphis, Tenn. To stay up-to-date with the Texas native, follow driver Buescher (@JamesBuescher) on Twitter.

STAY UP TO SPEED… The Nashville 300 from Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway will take the green flag this Saturday, April 3rd at 4 P.M. Eastern. Race coverage will be televised live on ESPN, beginning at 3:30 PM Eastern. In addition, Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio (Channel 128) will have the live radio broadcast, beginning at 3:30 PM Eastern.

James Buescher - Photo Credit: Sam Greenwood/Getty Images for NASCAR

QUOTES FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL:

BUESCHER (On racing at Nashville Superspeedway): “Pulling double-duty at Nashville is going to be a lot of fun. Running in the Nationwide car for Phoenix Racing is my primary focus for the year but I definitely enjoy going back and racing in the Truck Series. Making my first Truck start of this season for Stringer Motorsports is exciting and I want to thank them for the opportunity. Both series have a decent amount of solid competition and hopefully we will be able to capture one if not two Gibson guitars. The guitar trophy is one that everyone sets their eyes on and I would love to have another one. I won one in my Legends car days and it is definitely one of the cooler trophies that I have in my collection.”

(March 30, 2010) – Stringer Motorsports is pleased to announce that Plano, Texas-native, James Buescher, will pilot the No. 90 Toyota Tundra in the April 2nd NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Nashville Superspeedway. Buescher is running a limited schedule in the series for Turner Motorsports in addition to competing for the Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) for Phoenix Racing.

Buescher quickly became noticed as a future racing talent after his 2007 debut in the ARCA Racing Series (ARS). In first career ARCA race, which occurred at Lakeland Speedway, he started from the outside pole and led for 34 laps before claiming the win in dominating fashion. In 19 ARCA starts over four seasons, Buescher captured an impressive three wins, two poles, eight top-five and 12 top-10 finishes.

The 20-year-old made his debut in the NCWTS in 2008, making his one and only start of the year at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he started 10th and finished 19th. That same season, Buescher took another major step in his career by making his debut in the NNS at Phoenix International Raceway in Braun Racing’s No. 32 entry.

In 2009, Buescher returned to the NCWTS to run his first full season of competition in addition to select races in the NNS and ARS. His was the first face to see victory lane during the 2009 Speedweeks, scoring the biggest win of his career in the ARCA Lucas Oil 250 at the famed Daytona International Speedway.

Buescher, who hasn’t competed in the NCWTS since the 2009 season-finale, is excited to get back behind the wheel on Friday night.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to drive for Stringer Motorsports and looking forward to the chance to work with Trip Bruce and his guys. I would love to get another Nashville Guitar in my collection! I have one from a Legends Car National Championship several years ago. It has been a while since I have been in a truck, I can’t wait to get back in one!”

Champion crew chief, Trip Bruce, looks forward to working with Buescher.

“I’m looking forward to running James at Nashville. He is a great wheel man and I am excited to have the opportunity to work together. In 2008, I made the trip to Nashville Superspeedway’s victory lane with Johnny Benson and I hope to make a return trip this weekend with James and my Stringer Motorsports crew. I appreciate all the hard work my guys are putting in for this team and I am looking forward to the program Doug Stringer is trying to build this year with this No. 90 team.”

Mooresville, NC (December 1, 2009) – Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) driver Brad Sweet completed his 2009 season with a sixth-place finish in the 69th annual Lucas Oil “Turkey Night Grand Prix” at Southern California’s Irwindale Speedway on Thanksgiving Night to finish second overall in the final USAC Mopar® National Midget standings, just eight points shy of champion Brad Kuhn.

“I knew that if Brad Kuhn finished 16th or worse, I had to finish in the top three to win the championship,” Sweet said about Turkey Night. “I drove as hard as I could, but I just couldn’t get up into the top three.”

Sweet, an Alpine, Calif. native, posted three wins on the USAC Mopar National Midget circuit in 2009 in his Ollie’s Bargain Outlet No. 49 ASE / CURB Records / Mopar midget car, capturing victories at Manzanita (Phoenix, Ariz.), Salem (Ind.) and Eldora (Rossburg, Ohio) speedways.

“At the midway point of the year, we knew we had a chance to go for the title.” Sweet added. “It was a hard-fought team effort with great support from Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, ASE and Curb Records.”

Sweet entered the Turkey Night Grand Prix 40 points outside of first place, but he gained ground when Kuhn got involved in an incident on lap 12, allowing Sweet to make up significant points, but not enough to overcome the spread to win the season title.

“The whole Kasey Kahne Racing team is very proud of Brad for a great 2009 season,” said team owner Kasey Kahne, the 2000 USAC National Midget champion. “He nearly pulled off the championship, which would have been our first title for Brad and the KKR team.”

For 2010, Sweet will run a mixed schedule of USAC and World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series races for Kasey Kahne Racing to complement a stock car racing schedule that has him piloting the No. 90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra in at least eight races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for Stringer Motorsports.

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Phoenix International Raceway – November 13, 2009

- Kyle Busch (second) was the top finishing Toyota driver in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
(NCWTS) race at Phoenix International Raceway.

- Aric Almirola (third) also finished in the top-five at Phoenix, his seventh top-five result in 15 starts this season.
Mike Skinner (sixth), Mike Bliss (seventh), David Starr (ninth) and Stacy Compton (10th) also had top-10 finishes
for Toyota at the one-mile race track.

- Tundra drivers Brian Scott (11th), Todd Bodine (12th), T.J. Bell (13th), Timothy Peters (16th), Tayler Malsam
(17th) and Brad Sweet (22nd) were also in the field.

- Five Tundra drivers are among the top-10 in the unofficial NCWTS point standings — Skinner (third), Bodine
(fourth), Scott (sixth), Starr (eighth) and Peters (ninth) – with one race remaining in the 2009 season.

Finishing Position: 2nd

How was your race tonight?

“We weren’t as good as the 4 (Kevin Harvick). We did the best that we can and that’s all that we could come home with.
He (Kevin Harvick) kicked our butt pretty bad last year and we got a gain on it this year and that gain right there, we need
another one and we’ll be able to keep up with them or try to at least beat him. We kept up with him tonight but needed a
little more.”

Did you feel that you had a race-winning truck tonight?

“We didn’t have enough for the (Kevin) Harvick trucks tonight. (Ron) Hornaday kind of battled for a championship, played
it smart and (Kevin) Harvick was really fast like I said before. We came home second. It was a good day for the
Miccosukee Toyota Tundra. We gained from last year. (Kevin) Harvick whooped our butt pretty bad last year but we
gained on it a little bit. If we had another gain like that we probably would be able to keep up with him or win.”

Did you feel like Kevin Harvick had a big advantage over you?

“It wasn’t bad, it was about what I expected. I expected the 4 (Kevin Harvick) truck to be really, really good in which he
was. I guess he wasn’t driving in the beginning of the race. He was just holding back seeing what everybody had. Our
truck was good. We made a gain on it from last year to this year distancewise from (Kevin) Harvick. Harvick was just
stupid fast last year. This year I felt like we made a gain. If we can make another one of those gains next year then we’ll be
right on him. Overall, the Miccosukee Tundra was good. We led some laps and tried to go for the win but just didn’t quite
have enough on those restarts there.”

Do you think the 51 truck has a chance at winning the owner’s championship next weekend?

“I can’t close the gap, I’ve got to take that gap. They’re going to race next week hard as ever. They’re going to go and try
to win the race. That’s going to be the plan. They’ve got the driver’s championship locked up so if they go out there and
try to win the race and are successful at that then we can’t catch them. But if they go out there and try to win the race and
have problems by having issues whether it’s a wreck or engine or a tire – it could be anything. That’s why we race races.
Hopefully we can battle it out and have a good, strong run and see if we can’t beat them. Sixty points, I don’t know how
many spots that is but I take it that it’s probably 17 or so. So it’s going to be hard to do.”

Aric Almirola

ARIC ALMIROLA, No. 15 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Finishing Position: 3rd

How did your truck handle during the race?

“We had a good truck. Doug George (crew chief) and everybody on this AK Awareness.com Tundra did a really good job.
I don’t know what it’s going to take to get one of these ones. It’s not for a lack of effort. I can promise you that.
Everybody is racing their hearts out. Our truck just wasn’t very good on short runs and for whatever reason that last set of
tires didn’t take off very good for us. It was really tight – that last set of tires. We chattered the right front for quite a while
and just couldn’t ever take off.”

How was your race tonight?

“It was a fun race tonight. The race track widened out. You could run two-wide pretty good. The bottom lane was
definitely preferred but you could move around. It was a good race. I’m just still disappointed, man, I want to get one of
these wins some kind of bad. We tried, we raced our butts off and we came home third. That was what we had tonight.”

Was your truck better on the short or long runs tonight?

“It wasn’t very good on short runs. We struggled yesterday on short runs, too, in practice and for whatever reason it just
wouldn’t take off. We chattered the right front, chattered the right front and finally it would come in and take off and it
would go pretty good. I’m really proud of everybody at Billy Ballew Motorsports. Doug George (crew chief) and all of the
guys on this AK Awareness Tundra have been doing a great job. We just came up short. I’m going to win one of these
races one of these days. We just keep coming up short but it’s not for lack of effort.”

How has your team progressed over the season?

“Our team has really stepped their game up. We bring trucks to the race track every single weekend and they’re capable of
winning and I think we’ve proved that. Talladega we ran one-two and unfortunately I was second. Texas we had a top-
five, top-three truck and I lost power steering about lap 35 and then here again we had another good truck and led laps and
ran upfront but just couldn’t seem to seal the deal. I’m very proud of everything that everybody’s got going on at Billy
Ballew Motorsports.

I’m very happy that Graceway Pharmaceuticals have come onboard and helped us get through the end
of the year, but the Gods honest truth about next year, I have no clue. Last year, two years ago, I probably would’ve felt
like a little bit of an outcast and felt like the minority going to Homestead next week and not having any idea what I’m
doing next year but for whatever the case may be whether it’s the economy, whether it’s just people not sure of what’s
going on, I really feel like the majority. It seems like half of the garage in all three series are really unsure on their 2010
plans. There’s a lot of uncertainty going into next year and I just seem to be a part of that.”

Mike Skinner

MIKE SKINNER, No. 5 Exide Batteries Toyota Tundra, Randy Moss Motorsports

Finishing Position: 6th

Were you not feeling well during tonight’s race at Phoenix?

“I got the creeping crud. It started a couple of days ago and my doctor has got me on all kinds of antibiotics and Prednisone
and everything else to try to keep me alive so I could run this race. Our Exide Tundra was awfully, awfully loose. I don’t
know what happened to the truck I had yesterday. After the race, Eric (Phillips, crew chief) told me he freed it up this
morning and didn’t tell me about it. We need to communicate a little better on stuff like that. Once he got it tightened back
up, I wish I could have started the race like I ended the race because I think we probably could have gotten a few more
spots.”

Did being sick tonight make this a difficult race?

“Yeah, any time you’re sick, your focus is off and your reactions are off. I was burning up hot one second and freezing cold
the next. My nose is running all down my mouth – it’s just not pretty when you’re sick. That’s why drivers make more
than mechanics because we have to be able to do that and we have to play hurt sometimes.”

MIKE BLISS, No. 25 Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Finishing Position: 7th

How was your race?

“It was alright, it was kind of uneventful. We took four (tires) at first and then we took two at the end. We were kind of
just sliding around at the end, but this place is always like that the last 50 laps. It never goes that long. We kind of counted
on that. It was a good run. I’m really happy I got to run this Toyota Tundra and it was a good solid run for us.”

David Starr

DAVID STARR, No. 24 Zachry Toyota Tundra, HT Motorsports

Finishing Position: 9th

Are you disappointed with your finish tonight?

“I am. We keep working hard. We didn’t have the best truck tonight. Our Zachry Toyota Tundra was just okay. We got it
better towards that second practice yesterday. Jason Miller, our crew chief, found something. It just wasn’t where it needed
to be. We had some great pit stop strategy and with a lot of heart and hard work, we never gave up. We came out with a
decent finish. Top-10s is a good thing, but we shoot for a lot better than that.”

What do you think about both HT Motorsports Tundras being in the top 10?

“That’s a good thing. That’s what we shoot for, we want both trucks in the top five and top 10. It was good to see us both
right there close to each other. We just needed to be a little bit further up the pecking charts. Not bad for a seventh and
ninth but we’re definitely working harder to get closer to that number one spot. With the way our truck was handling and
everything we had to fight against, it was almost like a win for us. You never get enough until you win these races, so we’ll
just keep striving and working hard to do that and that’s what we’re going to keep doing.”

MOORESVILLE, NC (November 12, 2009) – Stringer Motorsports is pleased to announce that USAC open-wheel sensation, Brad Sweet, will pilot the No. 90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra in a select number of races during the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck (NCWTS) season. This weekend at Phoenix International Raceway, the 23-year-old will get a jump start on his new endeavor with Stringer Motorsports by making his series debut behind the wheel of the Great Clips-sponsored truck in Friday evening’s Lucas Oil 150. The Grass Valley, Calif.-native, made his stock car debut in July, racing in the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Kentucky Speedway for Stringer Motorsports.

Tentative plans call for Sweet to compete in the following NCWTS races in 2010. He will continue to run in the World of Outlaws series next season in events that do not conflict with his NCWTS events for Stringer Motorsports.

Dover International Speedway (May 14)

Lowe’s Motor Speedway (May 21)

The Milwaukee Mile (June 18)

Gateway International Raceway (July 16)

O’Reilly Raceway Park (July 23)

Bristol Motor Speedway (August 18)

Phoenix International Raceway (November 12)

Homestead-Miami Speedway (November 19)

Sweet has made a name for himself driving USAC Midgets and Sprint cars for Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) over the last couple of years. He is currently battling for the 2009 USAC National Midget title and has also run USAC and World of Outlaws sprint cars for KKR this season. His most prestigious USAC career victories include the Belleville Midget Nationals, the Knoxville Midget Nationals, and both the Sprint Car and Midget “Four Crown Nationals” at Eldora Speedway.

Sweet is following the same road as his mentor, Kasey Kahne. Kahne also drove for Stringer Motorsports in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) from 2003-2005, with Great Clips as his sponsor. Kahne will continue to be a mentor to the young driver as he makes the transition from open wheel to stock cars, just as he did seven years ago.

Sweet is thrilled to have the opportunity to make the move to the NCWTS, especially with the same organization that helped propel Kahne into NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stardom. .

“I’d like to thank both Doug Stringer and Kasey Kahne for the opportunity and Great Clips for supporting us,” said Sweet. “I’m look forward to taking my career to the next level. I expect to learn a lot from the other Truck drivers and gain their respect at the same time. To be able to draw from Kasey and Doug’s experience will hopefully make the transition much smoother.”

Stringer Motorsports owner, Doug Stringer, is happy to give up-and-coming drivers a shot at progressing their careers, especially one that came as highly recommended as Sweet. .

“Kasey (Kahne) has been telling me about an up-and-coming, young talent named Brad Sweet for the last year or two. When the opportunity arose to put Brad in the No. 90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra I jumped at it. It’s an interesting parallel to be working with one of Kasey’s protégés, five years after Kasey drove for me. It’s going to be a lot of fun to now to work with Brad and to mentor him as he starts out on this new career path.”

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Chicagoland Speedway — August 28, 2009

- Tundra driver Kyle Busch captured the checkered flag in tonight’s inaugural NCWTS race at Chicagoland Speedway.
It was the fourth NCWTS win of the season for Busch. Earlier this year he picked up NCWTS wins at California, Atlanta
and Bristol.

- It was the eighth NCWTS win of the 2009 season for Toyota and the 59th win for Toyota since the beginning of the 2004
NCWTS season.

- Tundra driver Todd Bodine finished second — his seventh top-10 finish of the 2009 season.

- Busch (79 laps) and Bodine (39 laps) combined to lead 118 of the 150 laps in tonight’s race.

- Busch has now won Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series races at Chicagoland.

- Tundra drivers Aric Almirola (eighth) Timothy Peters (ninth), Terry Cook (10th), Stacy Compton (12th), Mike Skinner
(13th) and TJ Bell (15th) also recorded top-15 finishes tonight.

No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra

KYLE BUSCH, No. 51 Miccosukee Resort & Casino Toyota Tundra, Billy Ballew Motorsports

Finishing Position: 1st

How special is this win tonight?

“It’s pretty cool, man. This is awesome to come out here with a brand new piece. Thank all these guys from Billy Ballew
Motorsports — the pit crew did a good job tonight. I really want to thank the fans, Miccosukee, Tundra, Toyota — all those
guys that do such an awesome job for us — Gillette, Marquis Jets. Richie (Wauters, crew chief) made a good pit call there
in the beginning of the race to take tires when we did. Luckily, they had that long green flag run. We made it look like we
knew what we were doing and that long run just hurt everybody else — got them behind (Ron) Hornaday, Jr., — he was a
good truck tonight. The 88 (Matt Crafton) was a good truck tonight, too. The right pit strategy kept us up front there. We
had a little trouble coming through traffic sometimes, but once you get up front in clean air — the thing just takes off.”

How did you make the pass on the late restart?

“The pass on the restart I just had to make sure that I got a good restart when I got a good run on him (Todd Bodine) down
on the bottom-side — I just had to stay there. I just had to keep going. Even if he pinched me into turn three, I was going to
have to keep my nose in there because that was the only position I had on him — I had to keep my position. He raced me
great. (Todd) Bodine did a great job — helped Toyota get a win here. He was a fast truck, too — but we kept them Fords
back there. Hopefully, we can do it again.”

Kyle Busch wins the EnjoyIllinois.com 225

How was your truck throughout the race?

“It was a really good night for us. The Miccosukee Tundra was pretty good. We were real proud of the way that we
brought a brand new truck here out of the box. We were dragging in practice a little bit. We had to work through a few
things to get the truck off the race track. It still was hitting during the race — just brushing the race track a little bit. We’re
going to take it home, work on it a little bit, polish it up and get it ready for the next one. Richie (Wauters, crew chief) and
Billy (Ballew, team owner) and all these guys work so hard — they do a great job with not a lot. Real proud of the effort we
had here — a fun night, overall.

The pit strategy worked to our advantage — I think with 20 laps into the race, or something
like that — I thought it was early to get tires, but we decided to get them. Then we went a long run there. I think we went
80 laps or something green and it really paid to our side — I didn’t think it would, but it did. We had a strong truck. We just
had to make sure we kept the right tires on it and kept the right adjustments in it and got the thing up towards the front there.
So, real proud of the way the thing drove out front. It was a little loose in traffic, but fortunately we were able to make it
through the traffic okay.”

What allowed you to make the pass on the late restart?

“I knew I needed a long run. If I could have had a long run, I felt like I could get by him. If I could have got it done in the
first couple laps of a restart, then I knew it would be easier. I just figured that if I could get a good restart — which I really
didn’t get that great of a restart — I got through turns one and two really good, you could hold it wide open for the first few
laps after a restart.

I got a good run through (turns) one and two — sort of drafted up off him a little bit, pulled low down the
back straightaway and got just enough alongside of him that it broke his momentum a little bit and I was able to get him to
give me room getting into turn three. If he (Todd Bodine) didn’t give me room it might have gotten a little ugly, but we made
it work. So, Todd (Bodine) was very gracious and a great racer there — and spared the day for Toyota to finish one-two.”

How does it feel to have won in all three NASCAR series at Chicagoland?

“It’s definitely an accomplishment. I love being able to win races in anything, anywhere — and I don’t know if this is my
fifth venue, or what that I’ve done it at. I’ve got Phoenix done. I’ve got California done. There are five — I can’t name
them all. But, I’m trying for more. So, hopefully we can get some more in there. I’d love to be able to get a sweep at every
place that I’ve been to — time will tell that — hopefully down the road. It’s cool to win here in Chicago. My parents are
from just outside (Chicago) in the suburbs. They grew up around this area. My girlfriend is from around here — just across
the border in Indiana. So, it’s really cool to sort of come to this second home in the Midwest and win in front of all the
family and friends here.”

Todd Bodine, No. 30 Ventrilo Toyota Tundra

TODD BODINE, No. 30 Ventrilo Toyota Tundra, Germain Racing

Finishing Position: 2nd

What happened on the late race restart and the pass for the lead?

“When Kyle (Busch) got by me I got too good a restart. Got some space in between us and it’s a lot like Daytona racing
and he got a draft on me and drafted past me. I should have thought of that. It’s my own fault. We had a better truck than
he (Kyle Busch) had — that’s the way it goes. This Ventrilo Tundra was still really good. It wasn’t that good to start. We
made some great adjustments and got it handling real good. I could run wide-open when I was by myself. That’s how you
go fast around here. Unfortunately, Kyle (Busch) got in front of me.”

Post-Race Notes & Quotes

Memphis Motorsports Park – June 20, 2009

- Brian Scott (second) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
(NCWTS) at Memphis Motorsports Park. It is his second straight top-three finish — third at Milwaukee (June 20) — after
suffering a broken right wrist at Michigan (June 13).

- Scott led 20 laps in the No. 16 Albertsons Tundra for Xpress Motorsports.

- Tundra drivers David Starr (third), Aric Almirola (fourth), Mike Skinner (sixth), Timothy Peters (seventh) and Todd
Bodine (10th) also posted top-10 finishes on Saturday.

- Toyota drivers Brian Ickler (12th), Terry Cook (13th), Tayler Malsam (16th), Stacy Compton (17th), T.J. Bell (18th) and
Brent Sherman (22nd) were also in the field.

No. 16 Albertson's TOYOTA Tundra

BRIAN SCOTT, No. 16 Albertsons Toyota Tundra, Xpress Motorsports

Finishing Position: 2nd

What does this run show about your team?

“I think we showed that if we don’t have bad luck or get caught up in an accident, we’re a top-five truck week in, week out.
My hat’s off to our guys. Everybody on our Xpress Motorsports Albertson’s Toyota Tundra — they put in really hard work
and a good effort in the shop. That ultimately translates to how we showed up at a race. We unload well and we run well.
That’ just their preparation… All the guys, they just work tirelessly.

Jeff Hensley is the best crew chief when you get to a
race track. He calls a great race and he can see it through to the end. He knows our fuel mileage. He knows our pit
strategy. He has it figured out. I’m just lucky enough to go out there and drive. If I don’t screw up and we don’t have any
bad luck, we can contend for a win every week and definitely a top-five.”

Brian Scott

Do you think the lapped trucks allowed Ron Hornaday to catch and pass you?

“The lapped down trucks plagued us the whole last part of the race. When we had the lead, I had no idea where they were
going when I got to them. The lack of thinking ahead on that part. We got messed up on the 90 (Brent Sherman). I might
have been able to stay in front of (Ron) Hornaday a little bit longer. I don’t know if we could’ve beat him. He was awfully
good. I can’t adjust the brake adjuster in our trucks with my broken wrist.

It just started getting tight. We were low on fuel
so our nose-weight percentage kept picking up. I just needed to keep dialing rear brake as the run went on and wasn’t able
to do it. Ultimately, we just overused our front tires. We were sliding in the center of the corner and loose off because I
was trying to make time back up and stay in front of David (Starr). It’s unfortunate, but you can never be upset with
second.”

Was your broken wrist an issue on the final restart?

“I got a good jump on the restart and got to his (Ron Hornaday) bumper and drove in the corner right there with him.
Unfortunately, I drove in a little harder and it wouldn’t stick quite as well as his because I slid my front. Once I lost the
bottom, I was like, ‘Maybe I can get to the gas and get to his outside quarter-panel here and make a shot at him.’ He got off
the corner really well and there was nothing I could do.

I was just lucky to settle back in second and not lose second to
David (Starr). That was all I was thinking about. I knew he could at times run faster than me and at times I could run faster
than him. I was just hoping to run faster than him that last little bit. I think somebody got side-by-side with him, and that
helped me out. I was just able to hold on for second.”

Were you distracted by the heat?

“You definitely know it’s hot the whole time out there. You’re sweating, you’re doing everything you can, drinking water.
It’s not just hot for drivers. The pit crews, they’re in full uniform. The Sunoco guys, the track help, the cleanup guys, the
fans. I can’t believe all the fans that endured the heat to watch us race.

That was really cool to see. At times you look up
under caution and just before the race started and you’re like, ‘Wow, there’s a lot of people sitting in the 110-degree heat on
steel bleachers or aluminum bleachers.’ They’re hot too. It was hot for everybody, not just us. I think everybody did an
awesome job just staying hydrated and dealing with it. You try to block it out, but there’s only so much you can do.”

Finishing Position: 3rd

How encouraging is this finish for your team?

“Our Toyota Tundra, all the people at TRD (Toyota Racing Development), they’re engineering staff and being able to use
their pull-down machines and engineering stuff they give us — it’s incredible. It’s just a testament to Toyota. I have to say,
Jim Harris and this HT Motorsports team, week in and week out we have a fast Toyota Tundra. This seems like we can’t
catch a break. Last week we had a bad break at Milwaukee. We had a great truck. The weeks before then, they just didn’t
fall our way. We had a great truck. We had to pull a spring rubber out of the left rear because our truck wouldn’t rotate that
good. It was a little tight in the center. That took a little bit of time — we lost about 12 spots on pit road. We got back on
the race track and passed six or seven people. The (engine) temperature was 260 degrees… The caution came back out and
we had to come back in and take tape off it.

We had to go back to the back again. We got back on the race track and didn’t
pass them as fast as the next time. The caution came back out and my crew chief said we had to pit for fuel. I said, ‘Are
you sure?’ I was tired of going to the back. We came in. I kind of questioned my crew chief there and I apologized to him
right before we pitted. I was just frustrated because we had to keep going to the back. It ended up being a really great call
because we had a great truck. It was fun racing with Brian (Scott). I think we were both trying to save some fuel. I would
get close to him and try to get a little bit more and I’d end up messing up.

It was a great race. We had a good race going on
when I could get to him. (Ron) Hornaday was just the class of the field. Congratulations to him. It was a great day for
everybody. You can’t thank the fans enough. I looked up in the stands and saw how many people were here and I was
really proud to be part of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series because it was pretty hot today. We did our job, we
worked hard, but I think they’re the ones that need to get all the credit because they did a great job and we appreciate their
support.”

David Starr

Did you think you had a shot at the win on the final restart?

“I tried to get a good restart. I didn’t have enough of my front end underneath Brian (Scott). It’s tough trucks, tough
drivers and a tough series. It’s tough on the race driver racing side-by-side, beating and banging, trading a little paint.
When you go in there and blatantly knock you out of the way, they’ll definitely pay you back down the road. When you do
something like that, you might take yourself out too. We race hard, that’s what this series is about, but when you blatantly
take someone out, I don’t think that’s what this series is about.

I just didn’t have enough to get my nose up in there. I
could’ve stayed in there and taken him out, but what’s the point? We’re good friends and we drive for the same
manufacturer and I might’ve taken myself out. That ain’t racing. If I couldn’t pass him hard or clean, I wasn’t going to get
the pass done. He was a little bit better than me anyways. Like (Brian Scott) said, I got in there a little hot. You try to get a
little extra, and when you do that, you put yourself in a spot to lose a spot. Just trying to drive as hard as I could and get all
I could without taking somebody out. It was a hard-fought race, but a clean race.”

Have you ever raced in such hot conditions?

“Yes. The first time I ever came here to Memphis, it was just as hot. At least it was under the lights, but it was just as hot.
It makes a lot better when you have a really good truck to drive. I thank Billy Ballew (team owner) for the opportunity. It
has been a lot of fun to race this truck here with these truck guys. They race hard every lap. It’s been a lot of fun and I
can’t wait to do some more.”

Do you think you had something for the leaders at the end?

“We did the set of tires before that, but for whatever reason — I don’t know why — but this last set of tires was really up on
top of the racetrack and I had no grip at all. We missed our final adjustment there a little bit, but all in all, it was a great run.
I’m really proud of the guys. We got snookered a little bit on strategy. I didn’t realize we didn’t have to come back for gas.
To come home fourth, though, was pretty good.”

Finishing Position: 6th

Do you think you had a race-winning truck tonight?
“We had a top-four, top-five Exide Batteries Toyota, but we were just racing there at the end and lost some ground. It’s
frustrating when we are on a different field to the rest of those guys that run up front every week. But overall our day wasn’t
bad. We were able to bring home a sixth-place finish and Eric (Phillips, crew chief) and all my guys on this Randy Moss
Motorsports team did a great job all day. We will take this and head to the next one in Kentucky.”

TIMOTHY PETERS, No. 17 Strutmasters Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing

Can you talk about your race tonight?

“The pit stops were just incredible tonight. The Copart Tundra crew picked up spots, even after I got held up by slower trucks
coming down pit road to get into the pits. They really did a great job keeping the Copart Tundra in a good position tonight.
Our truck was definitely better at the end. Our first adjustments we made, we definitely went the wrong way. We changed it
back and went the other way and it was better. Brakes were an issue the whole race – between vibrating and having too much
rear brake. I couldn’t put more front brake bias into the truck because it made the vibration worse – it was kind of a ‘catch 22′
setup. We missed the setup a little but it was better than we’ve been here so we can’t complain.”

Can you talk about your race tonight?

“Our One Eighty Toyota Tundra was good for most of the day. We had brake problems during qualifying which put us to the
back for the start of the race. Doug (Wolcott, crew chief) and all of these guys worked really hard this weekend and it sucks
when you have something go wrong there in the final 10 laps of the race. But we will put this one behind us and move
forward.”
