ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (January 13, 2009) – 2008 was a great year for the Rockingham Speedway as race cars returned to the high-banked, one-mile oval for three major races during the season. Not only will there be at least three major races this season, the Carolina 200 will add another race during the weekend – the UARA-Stars Late Model Stock Car Series. The UARA-Stars will race on Saturday April 18th, 2009 – the same day as the ARCA RE/MAX Series will practice and qualify for the Carolina 200.
