SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (Sept. 28 , 2010) – Comic Book Heroes, featured artist on ESPN’s coverage of the 2010 NNS Series and one of today’s “most promising young rock bands”, will perform in the DiscoverIE FanZone at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 9 beginning at 11:15 a.m.

CBH will release their newest EP ‘Drive On’ on Oct. 5, 2010 which features the single ‘Drive On’ as heard on ESPN’s coverage of NASCAR’s NNS season. CBH’s current EP ‘Take a Seat’ was self-released and includes their hit single ‘Catch Me if You Can’ and ‘Move Out of the Way’.

Recognized as one of the top three acts in the country in 2010 as an “Artist on the Verge’ by the industry tastemakers and the New Music Seminar, the four 18-year-olds from Pennsylvania will present their guitar driven, rock sound to thousands of fans on hand prior to the NASCAR NNS CampingWorld.com 300. The band was also named “Next Big Thing” artist in January 2009 by Radio Disney.

The band, composed of long-time friends, Steve Kowalski (bass, vocals), Ned Goldman (guitar, vocals), Steve Kosciusko (guitar, vocals) and Collin MacGregor (drums), came together when they were just 11 years old and have recently emerged as one of the most promising young rock bands, playing hundreds of shows for thousands of fans across the country.

Entertainment outlet Pop Culture Madness recently noted “If the Jonas Brothers are The Beatles, Comic Book Heroes are the Rolling Stones.” While iTunes says “The quartet from Reading, Penn., perfectly combines sassy vocals, strutting guitars and confident beats into a rumbling, grown-up rock-n-roll declaration.”
