Mooresville, NC (March 4th, 2013) Gray Gaulding and the #02 Krispy Kreme TruMoo Milk Toyota Racing team finished 6th at Phoenix International Raceway in the Talking Stick Resort 60.
Gaulding had never raced on a track larger than 0.625 mile, but the one mile D-shaped Phoenix International Raceway didn’t trouble Gaulding, a Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. After 26 laps on the track Gaulding finished first practice 11th overall with a time of 28.16 at 127.8 mph. Veteran crew chiefs Doug George and Doug Howe took the feedback from Gaulding and they began to work on the Krispy Kreme Toyota Camry before final practice.
