Team Hopes Bad Luck is Behind Them, Looking for Better Results
Spartanburg, S.C. (September 7, 2010) - This weekend, Phoenix Racing and the No. 09 Phoenix Construction Chevrolet team are excited to go back short track racing with Bobby Labonte at the 0.75-mile Richmond (Va.) International Raceway (RIR). The Air Guard 400 is the final race of the "regular season" and the field for the "Chase for The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship" will be determined after Saturday night's 400-lap event.
Labonte has 35 starts with an average start and finish of 18th at Richmond. He has also attained four top-five finishes and 10 top-10 finishes and has completed nearly 99% of all laps.
