- The New England 200 will mark McClure’s 156th- career Nationwide Series start and his fifth at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
- Historically, the one-mile facility hasn’t been good to the 32-year-old driver as he has suffered two DNFs in four starts.
- The Virginia driver has completed 80.9% of the total laps and has a best finish of 27th (2008).
- The team has chosen to utilize chassis No. 9 this weekend. It has previously been run twice in 2011 (Nashville and Charlotte) and has a best finish of 28th.

- Crashes are one thing drivers don’t like to be remembered for, and that’s no different for McClure. In 2007, McClure was involved in an accident at NHMS that was replayed for days on most national sports broadcasts and news stations, and appeared in numerous print publications.š The incident saw the Hefty® branded car riding the wall backwards, and on two wheels, on the wall in turns three and four.
Eric McClure quotes:
“I am ready to get back to NHMS this weekend. Although this track hasn’t been good to me in the past, I always look forward to racing at the track and we are due for a good finish there. The guys have been very busy at the shop, and hopefully our finish will attest to their hard work.”
