AAA/Penske Truck Rental Team News and Notes of Interest Sam Hornish Jr., driver of the Penske Racing No. 77 AAA/Penske Truck Rental Dodge Charger, was on course for a strong showing in just his third NASCAR Cup Series road course race last Sunday before an accident relegated the No. 77 team to a 38th-place finish at Infineon Raceway. Hornish now sits 26th in the 2009 driver point standings, 144 points outside of 20th place. Hornish has just two starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Last September, Hornish started from the 36th spot and was running just outside of the top-20 when the engine on No. 77 lost a cylinder. Hornish remained on track and finished the race in 30th place.
