NEWS AND NOTES FROM THE RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE CONTENDERS

– NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES

- Austin Dillon was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the November 12 Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix (Avondale, Ariz.) International Raceway. Dillon claimed a seventh-place finish, his 16th top-10 in 24 starts this season. He grabbed top rookie honors for the 16th time this season.

- Dillon won the pole position at Phoenix, his SIXTH of the 2010 season and the most ever by a Raybestos® Rookie in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history. He is the first Raybestos® Rookie to win THREE CONSECUTIVE poles, capturing the top starting position for the WinStar World Casino 400 at Texas Motor Speedway (race No. 8), VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway (race No. 9) and Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa Speedway (race No. 10). He also sped to the top starting position for the Build Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway (race No. 18) and at Smith Food and Drug Stores 350 at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (race No. 20).

- Dillon leads Justin Lofton by 55 points (245-190) points in the Raybestos® Rookie standings entering the November 19 Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.

- Dillon is fifth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship standings, best of any Raybestos® Rookie. He is 93 points behind fourth-place Matt Crafton and 73 ahead of sixth-place Timothy Peters.

- DID YOU KNOW? A Raybestos® Rookie has scored a top-10 finish in 18 of the 24 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races this season.

- Dillon has racked up TWO victories in 2010: the Lucas Oil 200 at Iowa and the Smith’s Food and Drug Stores 350 at Las Vegas. He is the first Raybestos® Rookie to win multiple races since Carl Edwards won three times in 2003.

- Johnny Sauter was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the 2009 Ford 200, posting a ninth-place finish.

DID YOU KNOW? The only Raybestos® Rookie to win in 14 previous races at Homestead is Kenny Irwin. Irwin captured the 1997 Ford 200 by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY

Johnny Sauter won 2009 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year honors in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Sauter was the top rookie 14 times in 25 races and his official margin of victory over Tayler Malsam was 57 points (270-213). He scored his first win at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (race No. 20) in his 31st career start, 2.474 seconds ahead of teammate Matt Crafton. He finished the season with one win, two poles, seven top-five, 13 top-10 finishes and placed sixth in the series championship standings.

DID YOU KNOW? Austin Dillon is the most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series when he captured the 2010 Smith’s 350 at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (five races).

The most Raybestos® Rookies to win a race in a single season: THREE in 1997 (Kenny Irwin, Tony Raines, and Randy Tolsma).

Austin Dillon is the only Raybestos® Rookie in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history to win THREE CONSECUTIVE pole positions. Dillon claimed the top starting position for the 2010 WinStar World Casino 400 at Texas Motor Speedway (race No. 8), VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway (race No. 9) and Lucas Oil 200 (race No. 10).

The most poles by a Raybestos® Rookie are FIVE by Austin Dillon (2010).

Kurt Busch holds the record for best championship finish (second-place), most wins (four), and most money earned ($745,632).

The record for most top-fives by a Raybestos® Rookie is 13 (Kurt Busch in 2000 and Carl Edwards in 2003).

The record for most top-10 finishes by a Raybestos® Rookie is 19 by Ricky Hendrick in 2001.

Kenny Irwin was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the Camping World Truck Series. Irwin captured the Florida Dodge Dealers 400K at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 16, 1997. He took the checkered flag by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.

Irwin also holds the record for quickest win by a Raybestos® Rookie in the Camping World Truck Series, scoring his first career win at Homestead in just his third career start.

TWO Raybestos® Rookies have won consecutive pole positions: Austin Dillon (2010) and Kurt Busch (2000).
