
Alex Hayden, host of The Late Shift on Sirius NASCAR Radio and MRN reporter, will be waving the green flag for the annual running of the Polar Bear.
“Dave (Moody) and Alex (Hayden) are two of the most recognizable voices in racing,” said Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg. “We are extremely grateful to have them here taking part in all of our festivities for the Polar Bear 150.”
Sirius-Speedway.com is also sponsoring Kurt Busch’s No. 22 entry. Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion, is entered in the event for the first time. Busch finished 12th in the 2010 Sprint Cup standings – a season in which he won two races. In eight starts at Rockingham, Busch has three top-10 finishes with a career-best of second in the Fall 2003 race.
Cars take to the track on Nov. 27 for practice at 9 a.m. for practice. European-style qualifying follows at 11 a.m. The green flag goes in the air at 1 p.m. for the Polar Bear 150.
