· Peters At Homestead…
The Ford 200 will mark Timothy Peters’ third Camping World Truck Series start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Peters earned a 15th place finish in both previous events. In 2005, he started 20th and finished 15th. Last season, in 2008, he started 13th and finished 15th. He completed all but one lap possible in those two races.· Race For Points… With just one race remaining to secure his spot in the Camping World Truck Series driver point standings, Peters has one last shot to gain as many points as possible. He currently sits ninth in the point standings, just 69 points outside of the fifth position. It would mean the world to Peters to finish inside the top-five but either way he deems this year a success. When he joined Red Horse Racing in June, Peters was 19th in points. In that short amount of time, he moved his way from 19th to 9th; an accomplishment the #17 team is very proud of.
· What A Year For Peters… Timothy Peters started the 2009 season not knowing if he would have a ride for the entire year. In June he joined the Red Horse Racing family and his season turned red hot! Since making that move, Peters earned his first top-five finish which came at Kentucky, his first pole, that came at Nashville Superspeedway, and his first career win, at his home track Martinsville Speedway. This season, Peters earned four top-five and 12 top-10 finishes, one pole and one trip to Victory Lane. His success on the track helped to secure him a job for net year at RHR. Peters will be once again driving the #17 Toyota Tundra in 2010 as he runs for the Camping World Truck Series Championship.

Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on Homestead-Miami Speedway: “We’re heading to Homestead with the goal of running up front and collecting as many points as we can for the points battle. 5th through 10th in the points is so tight that we need to be at the top of our game to secure more positions for Timothy. This is our last shot to do it so everyone on this team is really focused on that goal. As soon as Homestead is over we will start working on next year and bettering the effort we had this season.”
Equipment Information: Timothy Peters will compete with chassis # 138 in the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It was raced at Texas Motor Speedway two weeks ago where Peters started 24th and finished 19th.
