“The King” Richard Petty Honored in Corning, N.Y. with Cameron R. Argetsinger Award

IndyCar Legend Bobby Rahal Presents "The King" Richard Petty with the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award MOORESVILLE, N.C. (August 7, 2015) - "The King" Richard Petty took center stage at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, N.Y. Thursday night when he was presented the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for Outstanding Contributions to Motorsports at the International Motor Racing Research Center Award Dinner. The dinner was presented by NASCAR, International Speedway Corp. and Watkins Glen International. Smithfield Foods also supported the night's activities to recognize Petty's career while Ford Performance was in attendance. Petty, the winningest driver in NASCAR with 200 wins, was toasted by leaders of the motorsports world including NASCAR President Mike Helton and IndyCar legend Bobby Rahal.
