The 18-year-old Griffin, GA native has a tidal wave of confidence after winning the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Slack Auto Parts 150 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA last Saturday evening. The win capped a five-race NKNPS streak where Gresham has posted a 2.8 finishing average in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry.

According to Gresham – a soon-to-be freshman student at Belmont Abbey College – the chances of running well in his career superspeedway debut at MIS Friday will be good thanks to his No. 25 Venturini Motorsports Toyota Camry.

“Any time you go to the race track with Venturini Motorsports, you know you are going to have a great car,” said Gresham. “It’s going to be a great first superspeedway effort. I don’t think it is unrealistic to think we can win the race. When we did the ARCA test at Michigan three weeks ago, we were at the top of the speed charts (185.931 miles per hour average). Hopefully, that will carry it over and we can walk away with my first superspeedway win.”

Gresham also noted having a loose handle on his Venturini Motorsports ride will be the key to running well and winning Friday’s RainEater Wiper Blades 200 at MIS.

“Michigan is so much fun,” said Gresham. “You can drive off into the corner as deep as you want to go. The biggest thing is to make sure the car doesn’t get tight over a long run. You have to keep the car loose enough at the start of the race, free enough at the end of the race. The car that can do that is going to be the car that will win the race.”

Gresham has already visited Victory Lane in ARCA competition capturing the Tim Richmond Memorial at Mansfield (OH) Speedway last July 17. The race was just his third career ARCA start.

Friday’s RainEater Wiper Blades 200 at Michigan International Speedway – Gresham’s seventh career ARCA event – will roll off at 5:15 Eastern Time Friday.

The race will be telecast live on SPEED beginning at 5 p.m. Eastern.

“I’ve waited a long time to race at a track over a mile in length,” said Gresham. “I got to test at Michigan in an ARCA car last year, but I couldn’t race there because I wasn’t old enough to race in an ARCA superspeedway event. It was a real teaser. To finally get to race there and race on a superspeedway is going to be a real blast.”

(April 29, 2011) – Each race weekend, selected Dodge Motorsports engineers, Penske Racing crew chiefs, drivers or engine specialists give their insight on the ‘Keys for Success’ for the upcoming race. This week, the green flag drops at Richmond International Raceway for the Crown Royal Presents The Matthew and Daniel Hansen 400.

Track: Richmond International Raceway (Race 9 of 36 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series)

Race: Crown Royal Presents The Matthew and Daniel Hansen 400 (400 laps/300 miles)

Track Size: 0.75-mile, D-shaped

Trivia Question: (Answer below) In the recently released Universal Pictures action-thriller film Fast Five, how many different Dodge vehicles are featured?

ROBBY GORDON (No. 7 Fast Five/SPEED Energy Dodge Charger)

Turn Four: “We’re really working hard on getting our car to accelerate out of Turn 4 because the frontstretch is where you can really set up a pass down low into Turn 1. If you can’t roll out of the corner in (Turn) 4, you just loose too much speed and can’t get back into the throttle early enough.”

Power Hour: “Being able to put the power down is key. A lot of guys just can’t put their entire foot in the throttle out of (Turn) 4 and that’s not good. Late in the run, if you can power down on corner exit of Turn 4 and get to full throttle and stay to full throttle, that’s huge. Turn 1 is the best passing zone at Richmond.”

Tread Carefully: “You have to be able to save your tires for later on in the runs. You can get all the fuel mileage you want here, but if your burn your rear tires up getting off the corner, you’re going to be slow because you’ll have zero rear grip.”

Answer to trivia question: Four. 1970 Charger, 2010 Dodge Challenger, 2010 Modified Vault Charger, 2011 Dodge Charger Police Interceptor.

“I’m really just looking to get the money off my back,” said Gresham. “We had such a great first half of the season and the last two months have just been one piece of bad luck after another for me. We’ve run great only to have bad luck at the end of the race. It’s been a real buzz kill on my season. At this point, I’m just looking to get rid of the bad luck and have a good finish.”

The 2010 season has been feast or famine for Gresham, a 17-year-old senior student at Woodward Academy in College Park. GA. Gresham scored victories in two of the first NASCAR K&N Pro Series events this season and then won the Tim Richmond Memorial 200 ARCA race at Mansfield (OH) Speedway.

Since then, Gresham has suffered through several misfortunes – including having his engine expire while leading and coming to the white flag in the NASCAR K&N event at Dover International Speedway two weeks ago.

This weekend, Gresham hopes to break the spell of bad luck wheeling his No. 71 Gresham Motorsports Toyota in the ARCA event at ‘The Rock.’

“I had the opportunity to go to Rockingham and test recently and it was quite an experience just to walk into such a historic place,” Gresham stated. “For the most part, the test went well. We were at a little disadvantage because of my inexperience, but my Gresham Motorsports guys worked hard and we got better as the test went on. Since then, the guys have gone back to the pull-down rig and they’ve gotten the car better. I’m confident we’ll have a good run this weekend. It would be good to get a solid top-10 over even a top-five without getting crashed or having something break at the end of the race.”

The American 200 ARCA race at Rockingham will get underway with an open practice session on Thursday, October 7. Qualifying is set for 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time Friday.

Saturday’s American 200 will be preceded by a UARA Late Model Stock Car race on the Rockingham one-mile oval at 11 a.m. Gresham and his Gresham Motorsports Toyota will take the green flag in the American 200 at Rockingham at 1:30 p.m.

That’s what Max Gresham had to deal with Sunday in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 Toledo Speedway.

“I could tell that we were losing the brakes,” after finishing 23rd in the event retiring his No. 71 Gresham Motorsports Toyota with brake failure on Lap 78 or the 200-lap event.

“There were several laps where I’d go into the corner and the brake pedal went right to the floor. Then there was a crash in front of me and I had to spin to miss it. We got hit in the door and went behind the wall. At that point, we just made the decision to keep what we had left of the car and race another day.”

Gresham was behind the eight-ball from the very start as the opening round of practice Saturday was cut short by wet weather.

Max Gresham

“We only got about 20 laps in practice before it started to rain,” said Gresham. “Then qualifying got rained out and we had to start the race on points. That put us 28th out of 31 starters. Early on, it was kind of fun because we were passing a lot of cars. The challenge was just trying to say on the lead lap.”

Gresham eventually went a lap down to the front-runners only to immediately get back on the lead lap when the caution flag flew at Lap 40.

“We got the ‘Lucky Dog’ and got back on the lead lap,” said Gresham, who won the Tim Richmond Memorial 200 ARCA race at Mansfield (OH) Speedway earlier this season. “We made quite a few changes on our pit stop and the car was better, but the brakes were going away quickly and when we spun, it was just better to park it and call it a day.”

The 17-year-old Woodward Academy student will now return to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ranks this Friday, September 17, when he wheels the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in the New Hampshire 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Last year, Gresham sat on the outside pole and finished ninth in his first race at the NHMS ‘Magic Mile.’

“I’m really looking to going back to New Hampshire,” said Gresham. “I like that track and we had a very good car there last year. We’ve got two NASCAR K&N races left this season and we definitely want to win them both.”

Gresham, who has already won a pair of NASCAR K&N Pro Series events this season, will take the green flag in the New Hampshire 125 at 5 p.m. Eastern Time Friday.

ARCA Racing Series Race No. 11, Weis Markets 125,

Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, Long Pond, Pennsylvania

Race Information: Event: Weis Markets 125, Saturday, July 31 at 3:00 p.m. Local Time Track: Pocono (Pa.) Raceway Qualifying: Friday, July 30, at 1:40 p.m. Local Time; Track Length: 2.5-mile paved-triangle.

Last Time Out; Mansfield Motorsports Park: For the second consecutive ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards race, Patrick Sheltra and his Jon Wolfe led-Sheltra Motorsports were bitten by bad luck as rear-end gremlins bit the Mooresville, North Carolina operation 92 laps into the 200-lap Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park. Sheltra had to settle for a 21st, place finish tying his inaugural Mansfield performance in 2009.

Returning Back To The Long Pond: The Indiantown, Florida native will make his ninth start at the popular triangle race course and aim for his third top-five finish this weekend. In his previous eight efforts, Sheltra has acquired a track best of third last June while mounting a strong fourth place outing in his recent trip to Long Pond in June. Qualifying though has not been a downfall for the popular driver as Sheltra has nailed six top-15 qualifying runs including a track best of sixth in the spring race of this year.

Moving Forward Again: For the seventh time in his ARCA career, 24-year old Patrick Sheltra will pilot a Toyota Camry in Saturday’s contest. Sheltra competed under the Japanese banner at Texas Motor Speedway in April where Sheltra revived himself from being collected in an early race incident to score a solid seventh place finish. Sheltra also piloted a Toyota Camry to two of his five top-five finishes of the year seven weeks ago at Pocono and a week later at Michigan International Speedway with a third-place outing. Additionally, the team ran a Camry at Iowa Speedway earlier this month before engine failure while locked in the top-10 resulted in a disappointing finish. Last season under the guidance of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship organization Germain Racing, Sheltra hoisted a Camry at Michigan International Speedway and at the season-finale at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway.

Tricky Triangle Fast Fact: Did you know that when Sheltra made his first career ARCA Racing Series start at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, he piloted the No. 99 FloraGanics / Brady Ranch Dodge Charger for renowned racing competitor Ken Schrader. Sheltra started 21st but finished 22nd after being swept into an incident just seven laps from the finish in June of 2006. From there, Sheltra has been able to rebound and post seven consecutive top-15 starting positions and five top-12 finishes including a track best of third last June (2009) in eight additional starts.

Jarrett Back On The Horn: Veteran spotter and former ARCA Racing Series driver Jason Jarrett will spot for Sheltra in Saturday’s Weis Markets 125. Jarrett, the son of two-time Daytona 500 champion and former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett spotted for Sheltra in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway in 2007. Jarrett also guided Sheltra to a stout fifth place run in the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, a seventh place finish at Texas Motor Speedway in April and most recently a season-best second place finish a week later at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Jarrett, a two-time ARCA winner has 10 prior starts at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway with a career track best finish of second, twice in 2002 driving for ML Motorsports. Before concentrating on the No. 60 machine of Sheltra for race number 11, Jarrett will spot in the inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Pocono for Germain Racing.

Mad Dash With The Gas: For the first time in Sheltra’s ARCA Racing Series Pocono (Pa.) Raceway history, the traditional summer event at the 2.5-mile triangle will not be a 200-mile, 80 lap event. With the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) making their first ever appearance to the Pocono mountains, track and series officials opted to shorten the race length and distance in order to give the fans a double-header feature. The teams will now compete for 50 laps or 125 miles following the conclusion of the Pocono Mountains 125 for the NCWTS.

Summer Stretch Kicks Off In Full Gear: After a leisure starting scheduling for the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season, Sheltra and his competitors are gearing up for a grueling stretch of 10 races in 11 weeks which begins this weekend at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. The teams will now battle a mixture of speedways, short tracks, two dirt tracks and one road course with all the roads leading to the American 200 at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway for the running of the ARCA Racing Series season finale on Saturday, October 9.

Closing In On A Record: While eclipsing his fifth top-five finish of the year at Michigan International Speedway last month, Patrick Sheltra holds a new record for the number of finishes inside the top-five for a full-season. In his previous three full-time seasons, Sheltra has posted a season high of four top-five finishes including in 2009. Sheltra personal best of nine top-10 finishes in 2008 is on the verge of being collapsed with Sheltra aiming for nine top-10s in 11 events in 2010. Sheltra is expected to set a new personal season stat record with 10 races remaining this year.

Point’s Check: 10 races down, 10 to go, Sheltra with the guidance of crew chief Jon Wolfe sits fourth in the ARCA Racing Series championship standings accumulating 2345 points and 125 markers behind current leader Justin Marks. The 24-year old Sheltra also controls the fourth position in the ARS car owner standings. After the most recent ARCA event at Mansfield Motorsports Park, Sheltra slipped to fourth in the championship chase after holding the top-spot for three consecutive races (Toledo, Michigan and Pocono) in a row after also sharing the top-spot with Parker Kligerman for one race (Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway) in 2009.

Nice Stats: By posting his eighth top-10 finish of the season at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) on June 11, Sheltra remains the only ARCA Racing Series driver to finish inside the top-10 in eight of the 10 races thus far in 2010. Sheltra kicked off his strongest start to an ARCA season with a fifth place performance at Daytona, a 10th place performance at Palm Beach, a fourth place run at Salem Speedway, a seventh place outing at Texas Motor Speedway, his season-best second at ‘Dega, an eighth at Toledo Speedway, a fourth place run at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway and most recently a third place outing in the Racing for Wildlife 200 at MIS for round number eight.

Patrick Sheltra ARCA Career At-A-Glance: Entering Pocono, Sheltra has 77 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards starts to his credit with one career victory at Salem (Ind.) Speedway (April 2009). During his ARCA tenure, Sheltra has accumulated 15 top-fives and posted 30 top-10 finishes. A third place qualifying effort at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway (April 2009) and Michigan International Speedway (June 2010) is Sheltra’s best time trials effort to date. He has controlled the ARCA field six times for 148 laps.

Sheltra Motorsports, Pocono Raceway Pre-Race Quotes: Patrick Sheltra, driver / owner of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Toyota Camry

On Mansfield Motorsports Park: “Mansfield has not been good to me the last two years. I can’t control that, I guess it’s just one of those tracks you just can’t ever seem to have any luck. The car was good and we were making some serious progress but as quick as I thought it was going to be a good night, it went the other way just as fast.”

On Pocono Raceway: “Pocono is such a great place to race. It’s one of those race tracks that’s not easy to drive but is a lot of fun. We had a super car there in June and I think we’ll have a stout hotrod this weekend. I have a gut feeling that this could be our weekend.”

On The Recent Bad Luck: “Everyone is going to have their problems throughout the year. Unfortunately, our setbacks have occurred in two straight races and we took a dive in points. We’re still focused as ever and committed to winning this championship. We’ll rebound and be better than ever.”

On The Shorter (50 Laps) At Pocono: “Really, it stinks. I don’t think 80 laps is enough and now we’re being cut to 50 laps. I’m all for bringing the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to a new venue, especially Pocono but it’s disappointing because I think you’ll see a different type of race than what we had in June because of the distance.”

On Points: “We’re down but no way near out. We still have a long way to go this year. 10 races left and anything can really happen. It’s been proven that one bad race can literally mean the difference of leading to sliding back down the pylon. No doubt that this championship race won’t be easy but I have a feeling it’s really going to boil down to luck and consistency.”

Sheltra Motorsports, Pocono Raceway Pre-Race Quotes: Jon Wolfe, crew chief of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Toyota Camry

On Returning To Pocono Raceway This Weekend: “We had a great run earlier this year at Pocono and really felt like we had a shot to win. A flat tire got us behind and came up just short of a great comeback. We are taking the same Toyota that we ran in the first race, so we’re definitely pumped for this one.”

On Rebounding From Iowa Speedway and Mansfield Motorsports Park: “As racers we learn to deal with ups and downs, we keep our focus and forge ahead. We still have a mission to accomplish and we’ll continue to work hard towards reaching our goals.”

On Attacking A 50-Lap Race At Pocono Raceway: “I think the two things to focus on are one you will not have many opportunities to tune your car on pit stops, so it better be right from the start. Second, Patrick (Sheltra) will have to run hard from the drop of the green flag, no playing safe till the end.”

On Any Potential Track Changes From The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Event Run Before The Weis Markets 125: “The track surface will be a little different for a few laps at the start of our race, but once we lay down some Hoosier rubber the cars will react the same.”

On The Grueling Stretch Of 10 Races In 11 Weeks: “Our guys have been digging hard to prep cars for this stretch, the biggest hurdle is the fact that we will run such a diverse range of tracks over the next few months. We have to have four different types of cars prepared plus back ups for each style track. But also some of the more important preparation is mental, keeping our minds in focus and our families taken care of as they deal with us being gone for most of the time.”

Sheltra in the No. 60 Sheltra Motorsports Dodge Charger entered the 10th race of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season hoping for a quick rebound from the most recent contest at Iowa Speedway where an engine failure last Saturday night resulted in the team’s worst finish (29th) of the year.

The Indiantown, Florida native started his one-day show at Mansfield by posting the 16th fastest lap in practice only to find additional speed in qualifying to put his Chrysler nameplate 14th in the starting lineup for his second ever tango with the Ohio-based speed plant.

In typical Sheltra fashion the drop of the green flag saw the No. 60 quickly move up through the field and by lap five; Sheltra had carefully maneuvered his automobile into the top-10.

When the caution flag waived on lap 25 for a light spin on the backstretch, Sheltra radioed his Sheltra Motorsports team led by veteran crew chief Jon Wolfe that his car was good but he needed a little help rolling through the center of the corner.

Wolfe acknowledged his driver’s request by informing him that a chassis adjustment would be made to correct the problem during the first round of pit stops. Unfortunately, while racing in the eighth position on lap 57, Sheltra furiously informed his team that the battery was dead. As the 24-year old was preparing to make an unscheduled pit stop under green, the yellow flag waived for a multi-car incident in turn four ultimately allowing the team to investigate the issue under a slower race pace.

Despite losing several laps to the leaders, Sheltra returned to the track with a new battery in-toe hoping to keep his nose clean and keep his championship chase intact. Uncharacteristically for the team’s season; the night continued to spiral out of control.

A few laps later, Sheltra would have to bring his No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger back down pit road as the new battery would not hold a charge. Upon further review by the team, it was determined that a line to the alternator had broke; which forced an additional repair on pit road. Despite losing more laps to the competition, Sheltra returned to the race track just hoping to salvage a decent finish but a rear-end failure just shy of half-way brought the team’s frustrating night to a screeching halt.

“We’re down but we’re not out,” said Sheltra, who now has eight top-10 finishes in 10 races this season. “It was another tough night, but we will shake this monkey and get back to our championship form. We’re only at the halfway point and there’s a lot more racing left. We cannot afford to let these past two races affect our long term goal. It’s important to the team, our marketing partners and our fans that we bounce back in typical Sheltra Motorsports fashion. You’ll see what I am talking about at Pocono.”

With the finish, Sheltra took a dip in the ARCA Racing Series championship point standings, dropping from second to unofficially fourth tied with Tom Hessert accumulating 2,345 points. Sheltra now sits 125 markers behind leader Justin Marks. 75 merits keep Sheltra from moving back into second locked by Craig Goess with 40 credits keeping the Mooresville, North Carolina based team from third held by nine-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel.

Next up for the ARCA Racing Series is a return trip to Pocono (Pa.) Raceway for the running of the Weis Markets 125. The 11th race of the season is set for Saturday, July 31st scheduled to being at 3:00 p.m. Eastern live on SPEED; following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series first ever trip to the Pocono mountains. Sheltra will look for his second consecutive top-five at the 2.5-mile triangle as in June; Sheltra raced his No. 60 Toyota Camry to one of his five top-five finishes of the year.

Cost-effective marketing partnerships are still available for the remainder of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series season.
Exiting Mansfield, Sheltra has 77 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards starts to his credit with one career victory at Salem (Ind.) Speedway (April 2009).

After winning in their last outing at the Iowa Speedway, the team wanted to make it two in a row. After testing at the .5 mile Mansfield Motorsports Park prior to Iowa, the #77 hit the track fast, showing up 3rd on the practice charts. Hessert commented, “The car is pretty good. We tested here before Iowa and got our car pretty comfortable. We just made some minor adjustments today. We will race good. If we can qualify in the top five, it will make our day easier. It is difficult to pass here.” In qualifying, Tom posted the 6th quickest time.

When the race began, Hessert quickly showed what his car could do by moving to 4th by the 5th circuit of the 200 lap event. Contact was made with the #31 of Tim George, denting in Tom’s hood. With an overheating motor, Hessert needed the crew to open the hood to make adjustments to solve this problem. During the third caution, he pitted for those changes. With that pit stop made, the crew had more work to do—the normal four tires and fuel. As the green flag flew on lap 79, Hessert found himself towards the back of the lead lap cars in 9th. With the overheating problem solved, Hessert set his sights on the front pack. Just 12 laps after the green flag flew; Hessert had worked his way up to 3rd. A confident driver told his crew chief and crew,

“We can still do this, guys. Our car is fast.” As he was battling eventual winner, Max Gresham, for the lead on lap 142, Hessert told crew chief John Monsam that he had a right front flat. As the caution flag flew for a wreck in turn 3, Hessert brought the Cunningham Motorsports Dodge to pit road for the tire change. With 6 cars on the lead lap, Hessert came back on track as the leader, but quickly realized that he had more major problems, as he told Monsam that he thought he had a broken sway bar. Hessert, with the guidance of veteran spotter, Tim Andrews, fell back through the pack when the green flag was dropped because of the ill-handling race car. Sparks were flying as the #77 exited the corners—evidence of the broken sway bar. Tom manhandled the Dodge through the final 50 laps to finish in the 8th spot.

Tom moved into a tie for fourth, with Patrick Sheltra, in the season-long points battle, 125 points out of the lead. The next event for the team is the Weis Market 125 at the Pocono Raceway, Saturday, July 31. Practice is scheduled from 10:15-11:55 on Friday, with qualifying at 1:40. Racing begins Saturday at 3:00pm EST, with live coverage on SPEED. Live timing and scoring will also be available at www.arcaracing.com for all of the ARCA Racing Series events at Pocono Raceway.

(July 19, 2010) - Tim George Jr. may not believe in luck, but with a four-leaf clover affixed to the dashboard of his No. 31 Richard Childress Racing (RCR) Development Chevrolet, the full-time ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards competitor finished fourth in this weekend’s Tim Richmond Memorial 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park.

George drove like a veteran in only his second-career appearance at Mansfield, earning his second top-five finish of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series season and his career-best finish on a short-track, impressing nine-time ARCA Racing Series Champion Frank Kimmel.

“How about Tim George Jr.,” as Kimmel, driver of the No. 44 Ansell / Menards Ford Fusion, mentioned in a post-race interview. “He put together a really great race.”

The New York, N.Y. native, George, knew there were a lot of reasons for his fourth-place finish in Saturday’s race at Mansfield Motorsports Park’s 0.5-mile asphalt speedway. It could have been the fast Richard Childress Racing car that qualified fifth, the team’s exceptional pit stops gaining positions on pit road, his short-track driving ability or it might have even been the small four-leaf clover that George carried across the finish line in his No. 31 Chevrolet Impala.

Whatever the reason, it is the result that counts most to George.

“I think it all started with the first lap of practice, and we had a perfect qualifying situation,” said George. “We were able to run with strong guys throughout the race, and I kind of learned some things from them. I learned what line on the racetrack other cars were running and was able to take advantage of that.”

There was no doubt that George’s No. 31 Chevrolet was strong. George qualified the RCR Development Chevrolet in the fifth starting position with a lap time of 16.706 seconds and a speed of 107.746 mph. He lined up on the inside of row three to compete in the 10th ARCA Racing Series race of the 2010 season.

After starting fifth, George never moved outside the top-10 and passed Dakoda Armstrong on the last lap to claim the fourth position, the 29-year-old held his own throughout the night.

The RCR development driver began charging through the field immediately after the drop of the green flag, quickly moving to third in the running order by lap 7.

On lap 24, George was involved in an incident that sent the No. 31 for a spin on the backstretch while jockeying for position. While the No. 31 machine stayed on the track, the caution relegated George to 10th in the running order.

Despite the setback, George was able to make his way into the seventh position before the second caution on Lap 62.

During the ensuing yellow, the leaders came down pit road for service and the No. 31 was serviced with a full set of Hoosier tires, fuel and a chassis adjustment. George gained valuable positions on pit road, and returned to the track in sixth position, as one of only 10 teams on the lead lap.

After returning to action sixth after a 17-lap yellow flag, a long green-flag run ensued, with a caution on lap 144. During that time, George ran inside the top-10, running as high as fourth, gaining positions as he exited the corners.

The RCR Development team and crew chief, Gere Kennon made the choice to bring the No. 31 Chevrolet to pit road to replace all four tires on the RCR machine, fuel and another track bar adjustment, resulting in a fifth-place restart position for George.

The final caution flag of the night waved on lap 190, tightening the field for a final sprint to the finish. Creating some of the best short-track racing fans have seen; reminiscent of yester years of NASCAR Cup short-track racing as the cautions promoted the excitement of the competition. George took the green flag fifth on lap 194 for the restart and passed Armstrong on in the final corner on the last lap to finish fourth.

“One of the hardest things for me was the lapped traffic,” said George. “It was difficult to hold onto the leader with the hurdles of potentially getting caught up in packs of cars that were several laps down.”

George’s fourth-place finish in Saturday night’s 100-mile, 200-lap event was his career-best result at Mansfield Motorsports Park. It also marked his career-best short-track finish in ARCA Racing Series competition.

A fast car and fast pit stops weren’t the only ammunition in George’s arsenal on Saturday.

George carried a four-leaf clover in his No. 31 RCR Development Chevrolet, given to him by his RCR teammate, Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. George placed the clover next to the ignition switch before the race.

“I think it did help,” said George. “I am not really a superstitious guy. I think it is more of the team’s synergy coming through, rather than the four-leaf clover, but I’m going to keep it in the car.”

George will make his second visit of 2010 to the “Tricky Triangle” and the 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway on Saturday, July 31 for the Weis Markets 125. The race is live on SPEED on Saturday, July 31, at 3 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Check arcaracing.com for live timing and scoring.

Toyota Camry

MANSFIELD, Ohio (July 19, 2010) - Consistency seems to be Craig Goess’ middle name this season. As the ARCA Racing Series rolled into Mansfield, Ohio last weekend, Goess looked to continue his steady journey to the top of the point standings. He didn’t disappoint, bringing home a second-place finish in the Tim Richmond 200 in the No. 81 Toyota of Greenville N.C. Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota. In 10 races this season, he has five top-five finishes and seven top-10s.

Goess was fourth quickest in the only practice of the day, with a time of 16.687 seconds (107.868 mph). The No. 81 ESR team made adjustments before qualifying, which proved successful as Goess laid down the third quickest qualifying lap of 16.589 seconds (108.506 mph).

As the green flag fell on the Tim Richmond 200, Goess was confident in the car, the team and his skills.

“The car improved between practice and qualifying, and I knew the car had the speed to compete for the victory,” said Goess

With five cautions slowing the field for a total of 40 laps, the loose No. 81 Toyota of Greenville had a hard time maintaining short runs.

Craig Goess Jr.

“We had some bad luck in the pits, but we were able to fight back from it,” explained Goess. “The guys put together a good car. I just wish we could have had a long run.”

The No. 81 raced at the front of the pack for much of the race, taking the lead for five laps when the leaders pit under the fourth of five cautions.

With 48 laps to go, the 17-year-old pole-sitter Max Gresham took the lead for the final time and took the checkered flag. Goess crossed the finish line second, his fifth top-five and seventh top-10 of the season.

“The car was loose for most of the race, but once we got going on long runs on a green flag, the car could really get to where it needed to be,” said Goess. “Unfortunately, it just took too long for the car to get on a roll, and the cautions really hurt us. All things considered, I think we had a good race and picked up the points we needed to.”

Goess’ second-place finish shot him up one more spot in the ARCA Racing Series point standings. With nine more races in the 2010 season, Goess is 50 points behind leader Justin Marks.

With this upcoming weekend off, the ARCA Racing Series will head to Pocono Raceway on July 31 for the Weis Markets 125. Goess will return to the “Tricky Triangle” to defend his victory at Pocono, after his first career ARCA Racing Series victory on June 5. The 125-mile race will be broadcast live on SPEED at 3 p.m. EST, with live scoring, timing and audio broadcast on ARCARacing.com.

First, it will honor the most famous racer from north central Ohio, aptly named the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200.

Besides remembering the late Ashland star of NASCAR and IndyCar fame, it will be a night of awareness. Richmond died in 1989 of complications from AIDS after earning Rookie of the Year honors at the 1980 Indianapolis 500 and after 13 victories in eight NASCAR Sprint Cup seasons. In his memory, the AIDS Resource Center of Ohio will offer free testing at the track.

But anyone who knew Richmond (or watched “Days of Thunder” which was loosely based on his life) knew he loved a good time most of all. Saturday should be a good time as the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards returns to MMP for the second year.

“Last year’s show, it was fun to work with ARCA and work with the people,” track owner Mike Dzurilla said. “We found out we can work with them and they can work with us.”

Last Time Out; Iowa Speedway: It appeared that Patrick Sheltra and his Sheltra Motorsports team was well on their way to notching their ninth consecutive top-10 finish in a row at Iowa Speedway last weekend. The team unloaded their No. 60 Sheltra Motorsports Toyota Camry to post the sixth fastest time in the first practice. In happy hour, the Sheltra Motorsports posse flexed their muscle and recorded the top spot in the short practice session. After qualifying eighth, Sheltra motored into the top-five before the engine seized underneath the hood of the Jon Wolfe led team resulting in a 29th place finish in the Prairie Meadows 200.

Welcome Back To The Buckeye State: On Saturday night, the Indiantown, Florida native will make his second start at Mansfield Motorsports Park (MMP). In last year’s event, Sheltra qualified 16th but became trapped in a multi-car incident in the first corner of the first lap. Sheltra was able to rebound and put his No. 60 Dodge Charger into the top-10 before suspension failure 28 laps from the finish relegated the team to a 21st place finish.

Nothing Wrong With Getting Carried-A-Way: On Thursday, crew chief Jon Wolfe and Sheltra participated in a private test at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, North Carolina. The team utilized the session to shake down their automobile for this weekend’s feature at MMP. Prior to Thursday, the Indiantown, Florida native never had competed at the North Carolina speed plant.

Waking Up On A Brighter Side; LaQuinta Style: Driver Patrick Sheltra and his Sheltra Motorsports team welcome LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Mansfield, Ohio on-board the team’s No. 60 Dodge Charger this weekend as an associate marketing partner. Built in 1996, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Mansfield, Ohio hosts 86 rooms, a mixture of king rooms, double rooms and suites. For relaxation, the establishment located in the south end of Mansfield, Ohio offers an indoor pool and hot tub. The LQ Mansfield also offers free high speed wireless internet and free daily continental breakfast. For reservations, please call, 419.774.0005.

Yeah, It’s Got A Hemi: For the fifth time in 2010, the Mooresville, North Carolina based Sheltra Motorsports team will feature the Chrysler nameplate as its manufacturer of choice for Saturday night’s Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park. The team competed with a Dodge Charger in the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Salem (Ind.) Speedway, Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and most recently at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway. The team has eclipsed five top-10 finishes including four top-five efforts sealed with a season-best of second at Talladega in April.

Happy Birthday Mr. Hylton: Brandon Hylton, mechanic and tire carrier for the veteran ARS team will celebrate his 23rd birthday on Sunday, July 18. Hylton joined Sheltra Motorsports in January after a stint in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with CJM Racing. Hylton is also the son of veteran NASCAR crew chief Butch Hylton.

Point’s Check: Nine races down, 11 to go, Sheltra with the guidance of crew chief Jon Wolfe sits second in the ARCA Racing Series championship standings accumulating 1970 points and 70 markers behind current leader Justin Marks. Sheltra holds a 30 point gap from third place competitor Craig Goess. The 24-year old Sheltra also controls the second position in the ARS car owner standings. After last weekend’s results at Iowa Speedway, Sheltra slipped to second in the championship chase after holding the top-spot for three consecutive races in a row after also sharing the top-spot with Parker Kligerman for one race (Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway) in 2009.

Nice Stats: By posting his eighth top-10 finish of the season at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) on June 11, Sheltra remains the only ARCA Racing Series driver to finish inside the top-10 in eight of the nine races thus far in 2010.

Sheltra personal best of nine top-10 finishes in 2008 is on the verge of being collapsed with Sheltra aiming for nine top-10s in 10 events in 2010. Sheltra is expected to set a new personal season stat record with 11 races remaining this year.

Autographs Anyone?: After his duties at the track on Saturday, Sheltra is scheduled to participate in the on-track autograph session on the frontstretch at Mansfield Motorsports Park (Mansfield, Ohio) from 6:30pm to 7:30pm local time.

Sheltra Motorsports, Mansfield Motorsports Park Pre-Race Quotes: Patrick Sheltra, driver / owner of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger

On Iowa Speedway: “We had a great car last weekend at Iowa. We weren’t expecting the motor to give way, but sometimes that happens in racing. I appreciate everything that the Sheltra Motorsports team and Triad did to try and make our weekend successful. It’s just time to put this race in the rear-view mirror.”

On Mansfield Motorsports Park: “Mansfield is a pretty unique place. It’s a tough track to negotiate. You need to have a good handling car and be able to feather the throttle if need be; not to mention keep the fenders on for 200 laps. I have high hopes for Saturday night, so I hope what I have in mind will actually come to life.”

On The Caraway Speedway Test: “I think the test went pretty good. We just wanted to shake down our No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger and make sure we had all the kinks worked out. I feel like what we learned there could be extremely beneficial for Saturday night.”

On His New Game Plan: “Our game plan which starts at Mansfield is simple. We’re going to do what we did the first eight races. We plan to show consistency, lead laps and be up front. Eventually, we should be able to overcome the deficit we received at Iowa and have everyone chasing us again.”

On Points: “This championship is going to come down to the wire. I think you’ll be allowed one, maybe two bad races to keep in the hunt but other than that, you have to be in contention (to win races), leading laps and vying for those crucial qualifying points. I need to step up my game for qualifying and I have some ideas on how to mange that. It’s going to be exciting for sure.”

Sheltra Motorsports, Mansfield Motorsports Park Pre-Race Quotes: Jon Wolfe, crew chief of the No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe Dodge Charger

On Mansfield Motorsports Park: “The whole team is pumped up about going to Mansfield. Patrick is so exciting to watch on the short tracks and that excitement bleeds over to all of us. Hopefully, the excitement will lead a trip to victory lane.”

On What The Keys Are To Succeeding At Mansfield Motorsports Park: “As with most short track racing Mansfield gets a little rough and tumble sometimes, so keeping the fenders on and being there at the end is the biggest key.”

On The Possibility Of Winning At His Hometown Track: “Growing up about 40 miles from Mansfield in Strasburg, Ohio makes this a special event for me. I have some relatives and friends attending, so a win would be just that much better.”

On How You Keep The Team’s Confidence Positive After The Disappointment Of Last Weekend (Iowa): “Getting back to the track is the best medicine. Racing is full of up’s and downs and we are just trying to remain focused on our mission, winning races and ultimately the championship.”

On Giving The Sheltra Motorsports Team A Grade For The First Nine Races This Season: “This is a hard one. All the guys have come a long way in a hurry and seem to get better every day. Our on track performance has been really good most of the time with a few hiccups along the way, so overall I would have to say a B+. The good thing is that we have 11 more events to up our grade to an A+.

Patrick Sheltra

MANSFIELD, Ohio (July 14, 2010) – - After losing the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards points lead last weekend at Iowa Speedway because of an engine failure, Patrick Sheltra returns to Mansfield (Ohio) Motorsports Park (MMP) this weekend armed with a game plan and strategy that eventually should propel the Indiantown, Florida native and his Sheltra Motorsports posse back atop of the coveted championship chase.

After notching eight consecutive top-10 finishes in a row before Iowa, Sheltra left the .875-mile oval with his worst finish of the 2010 season, 29th. Set for his second outing in Saturday night’s Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 at MMP, Sheltra is hoping for some magic, much like he received in 2009 at Salem (Ind). Speedway where the popular 24-year old notched his first career ARCA Racing Series victory after recovering from serious injuries sustained in the season-opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

Mansfield Motorsports Park shows similar characteristics to the brutal bullring of Salem (Ind.) Speedway and “Mr. Showtime” as he’s known in the ARCA garage is hoping to rekindle some of the “armor” he carried last year at the Southern Indiana track and hoist it under the lights in the “Buckeye State” for the 10th race of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series season.

“After what happened to us last weekend at Iowa, it reminded me a lot about what happened after Daytona,” Sheltra admitted. “Obviously, the scenarios are completely different but the feelings aren’t. We were able to bounce back from something horrible like Daytona and win the next race at Salem. There’s no doubt in my mind with our focus and determination, we can duplicate a similar story this weekend.”

He continued, “it was tough to swallow what happened last weekend. We had an incredibly strong car and everyone knew it. Unfortunately, things like that though happen in racing. You can’t dwell on the past but you can vow to make a bigger presence for the future.”

Calling Mansfield a “difficult” track, the NASCAR-bound driver is highly optimistic that his team can conquer any swords that could be thrown at his Mooresville, North Carolina based team in the fourth short track battle of the year.

“Mansfield is such a twitchy place,” Sheltra recalled. “It’s a place where sometimes you have to baby the throttle and other times you feel like you’re wide open. We had a good car there last year. Without hesitation, I know Jon (Wolfe, crew chief) and the guys are giving me a piece that is capable of winning this weekend.”

The Floridian added, “our game plan which starts at Mansfield is simple. We’re going to do what we did the first eight races. We plan to show consistency, lead laps and be up front. Eventually, we should be able to overcome the deficit we received at Iowa and have everyone chasing us again.”

Locked 70 markers behind point’s leader Justin Marks, Sheltra was quick to mention that his organization in a span of three races was able to make up a similar deficit and ultimately control the top-spot for three races before Marks was able to re-inherit the lead.

“This championship is going to come down to the wire. I think you’ll be allowed one, maybe two bad races to keep in the hunt but other than that, you have to be in contention, leading laps and vying for those crucial qualifying points. I need to step up my game for qualifying and I have some ideas on how to mange that.”

Sheltra will pilot the Jon Wolfe led No. 60 Recycling Services / Ferguson Pipe / LaQuinta Inn & Suites (Mansfield, Ohio) Dodge Charger in Saturday night’s anticipated thriller.

Cost-effective marketing partnerships are still available for the remainder of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series season. For additional information, please contact brandon@patricksheltra.com or marketing@patricksheltra.com.

Entering Mansfield, Sheltra has 76 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards starts to his credit with one career victory at Salem (Ind.) Speedway (April 2009).

This week (Tuesday, July 13), Silas and wife Misty welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world. Landon Paul Silas weighed in at nine pounds, five ounces. Both mother and son are doing great but Silas is eager to give his newborn son an anecdote that will remain a priceless memory for generations to come.

“I’m so happy,” said Silas. “This has been an unbelievable week with the birth of my son. Both Misty and Landon are doing great. Getting my first win this Saturday night would be a dream come true.”

The anticipation of the arrival of Silas’s first born has tried to play havoc with his ARCA Racing Series career but Silas answered any questions whether or not his focus on racing would be sidetracked last weekend at Iowa Speedway. After missing both practices and qualifying to be at his wife’s side, the veteran driver flew to the Newton, Iowa speed plant late Saturday afternoon to partake in the Prairie Meadows 200 presented by SPEED on Mediacom. After starting at the rear of the field (33rd), Silas maneuvered his No. 11 Rockingham Speedway / Palm Beach Grading Ford Fusion into the top-10 before a late race slide forced the Fast Track Racing driver to cross the line 13th.

“I want to thank everyone on the Fast Track team for their efforts last weekend at Iowa,” added Silas. “In case I don’t tell them enough, I appreciate everything they’ve done for me not only this year but especially the last couple of weeks. I want to also thank Johnny Sauter for practicing the car last Saturday; he did a great job with the setup. Despite the adversity we faced, I think we were pleased with the results.”

With the ARCA Racing Series (ARS) presented by RE/MAX and Menards returning to the tricky MMP for a night of short track thunder, Silas wants to make a statement that his team, despite the bad luck they’ve taken in this year, is still capable of running up front while hoping to make a substantial gain in the championship chase.

After starting 15th last year at Mansfield, Silas methodically used patience to guide his Concord, North Carolina team to one of their 10 top-10 finishes in 2009 with an eighth place outing. With the momentum carrying on the personal side, the likeable ARCA driver is determined to deliver a similar performance.

“A top-10 is great, but I’m looking for a lot more than that this weekend,” Silas sounded. “Mansfield is such a tricky place. It’s really like nothing we compete on during the year. One thing is for sure, you cannot afford to be a slouch. You have to be on your game from the moment the green flag drops to the moment you take the checkered flag. It’s an intense race but it makes a great treat for the fans.”

Entering the 10th race of the season, Silas, a four year ARCA veteran is 12th in the ARCA Racing Series championship point standings with three top-10 finishes including a season-best eighth at Texas Motor Speedway in April. Just 70 points separate Silas from cracking into the top-10 in the standings. 275 credits separate the Fast Track Racing pilot from fifth in the overall championship chase.

Nason, Yeager, Gerson, White & Lioce P.A., MTW Services, Inc., Palm Beach Grading (PBG) and Rockingham Speedway will all sponsor Silas’s Ford Fusion for his 81st career ARCA start.

The Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 (200 laps / 100 miles) is the 10th of 20 events on the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards schedule. The second annual ARCA race at Mansfield Motorsports Park is a one-day show. Practice begins Saturday July 17 with an hour and half practice session planned from 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying is set for later in the day slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. The event will take the green flag shortly after 8:00 p.m. The race will not be televised but race coverage including live timing and scoring throughout the week will be available through the BAS Racing Network in conjunction with the ARCA Racing Network (ARN) online at arcaracing.com presented by ARCANation.com. All times are local.

(July 14, 2010) – Frank Kimmel is ready to get back to his short-track racing roots at Mansfield Motorsports Park on Saturday, July 17 for the Tim Richmond Memorial 200. With only one previous ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards race at the half-mile oval, Kimmel will be on even footing with the rest of the drivers in the field, and he is looking forward to that challenge.

“Well I’m a little anxious about getting to Mansfield. We didn’t really run very well there last year, didn’t have a great car and struggled most of the day. We ended up losing the breaks, so it was a struggle for us. I really like Mansfield, I enjoy the race track, and it’s exactly for what I come from as far as short track racing. I’m actually looking forward to going back and changing our set up and trying to work up some things that will hopefully make us more competitive than last year.”

Kimmel has been on a roll as of late. In his last seven starts, Kimmel has earned six top-10 and three top-five finishes while climbing seven positions in the championship point standings.

Kimmel will first hit the track at Mansfield Motorsports Park at 2:30 p.m. EST on Saturday for the ARCA Racing Series practice, followed by Menards Pole Qualifying Presented by Ansell (All Positions / 2 laps) at 5:00 p.m., an autograph session at 6:00 p.m. and start of the Tim Richmond Memorial 200 (200 laps / 100 miles) at 8:00 p.m.

The race will be broadcast live on the BAS Racing Network. Live scoring and timing will be available during practice, qualifying and the Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 on www.arcaracing.com.

Mansfield History: This is only the second occasion that the ARCA Racing Series has traveled to Mansfield Motorsports Park. In his first-career start at Mansfield, Kimmel earned a top-ten finish.

On a Roll: Frank Kimmel arrives at Mansfield Motorsports Park looking to continue his list of impressive finishes for the 2010 season. In his last seven starts, Kimmel has accumulated six top-ten and three top-five finishes. After capturing a sixth-place finish in last week’s Prairie Meadows 200 at Iowa Speedway, Kimmel gained another spot in the ARCA Racing Series points standings, moving him into fourth-place.

See You at Menards: Kimmel fans will have an opportunity to meet the driver of the No. 44 Ansell/Menards Ford Fusion this week. On Friday, July 16th, he will be at the Menards store in Ontario from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. EST. Fans will have the opportunity to have meet Frank Kimmel and view his No. 44 Ansell / Menards Ford Fusion.

In The Points: Kimmel’s sixth-place finish at Iowa moved him into the fourth-position in the championship standings, sitting only 120 markers behind the points leader.

Autographs: On Saturday, July 17th, Frank Kimmel will join the rest of the ARCA Racing Series drivers on the track at Mansfield Motorsports Park to sign autographs at 6:30 p.m. EST.

Track Fact: Besides Berlin Raceway, Mansfield Motorsports Park is tied with Toledo Speedway for the shortest track that the ARCA Racing Series will visit during the 2010 season – Mansfield is .5-mile paved oval.

Did you know?: Frank Kimmel may be busy traveling with the ARCA Racing series, but that doesn’t stop him from catching up with his favorite reality shows. Kimmel is actually a reality television “junkie” whose favorite shows include The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, Wipeout, True Beauty and even American Idol.

Chasing the Record Books: If you look at the ARCA Racing Series record books, there are not many lists that do not include the name Frank Kimmel. This season, Kimmel looks to break his own record of nine championships and win a record-setting 10th ARCA Racing Series Championship. His sights are also set on breaking the all-time ARCA win record. With 74 career ARCA victories, Frank is six wins shy of breaking the record held by Iggy Katona.

No. 31 RCR Development Team Chevrolet

Race Notes and Quotes

This Week’s RCR Chevrolet at Mansfield … Tim George Jr. will pilot chassis No. 152 from the Richard Childress Racing ARCA Racing Series stable in this weekend’s Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA 200 at Mansfield Motorsports Park. George drove this Chevrolet to a 31st-place finish at Toledo Speedway in May after a lap 98 accident and a 16th-place finish at Salem Speedway in April. Prior to the ARCA Racing Series, this chassis competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with driver Clint Bowyer, producing a sixth-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March 2007. Bowyer also drove this car in NSCS races at Michigan (June 2007; finished 16), Texas (April 2007; finished 16 and November 2007; finished 19) and Dover (June 2007; finished eighth and September 2007; finished 12).

Last Weekend at Iowa … George contributed to a strong weekend for Richard Childress Racing Development teams and Earnhardt-Childress Engines at Iowa last weekend, earning a 12th-place finish, leading six laps and moving up one position in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards point standings, to eighth. His ARCA Racing Series teammate, Ty Dillon, earned a second-place finish and pole award in his series debut, while fellow RCR development driver Austin Dillon earned his career first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory and his third consecutive pole award in NASCAR’s No. 3 tour on Sunday.

Mansfield Stats … Tim George Jr. has one previous start at Mansfield, finishing 22nd after starting 13th in the 2009 edition of the race.

Point Me in the Right Direction … Following his 12th-place finish in Saturday’s Prairie Meadows 200 at Iowa Speedway, George moved up one position, to eighth, in the ARCA Racing Series driver’s point standings with 11 races remaining in the 20-race series.

TIM GEORGE JR. QUOTES:

Give us a recap of Iowa.

“Iowa was a good weekend for RCR. My ARCA teammate, Ty Dillon, captured the pole and Truck teammate Austin Dillon earned the pole and then went on to win on Sunday. I ran competitively as well. Going out first for qualifying is tough, but leading a lap in the race was good. We backed up a bit at the end, but all in all it was a good points weekend.”

What are your thoughts on Mansfield?

“I’m excited to get back to a short track. We rolled off the truck pretty fast at the last two, and I’m looking forward to a good finish on a short track. We have been competitive recently and need to hold that intensity till the end of the race. Mansfield hosts some exciting races for the fans and I’m looking forward to being part of the show.”
