2011 NCWTS Good Sam Club 200 First Practice Session Speeds

2011 NCWTS Ricky Carmichael Thumbnail Ricky Carmichael, with a lap speed of 177.726 mph, was the fastest during the first NCWTS Good Sam Club 200 practice session at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Second fastest was Josh Richards with a lap speed of 177.232 mph, and was followed by Ryan Newman (177.125) who was third fastest, Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Parker Kligerman (176.572) fourth fastest and Timothy Peters (176.504) was the fifth fastest. Rounding out the top-ten fastest in practice were Todd Bodine (176.336) who was sixth fastest, Austin Dillon (176.162) seventh, Clint Bowyer (176.106) eighth, Ron Hornaday (176.011) ninth and Jason White (175.872) posting the tenth fastest lap speed.
