2012 NCWTS N.C. Education Lottery 200 First Practice Session Speeds

NCWTS Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Ty Dillon, with a lap speed of 181.378 mph, was the quickest during the first N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Second quickest with a lap speed of 180.681 mph, was Timothy Peters, followed by Joey Coulter (180.258 mph) who was third quickest, Matt Crafton (179.982) fourth and Justin Lofton (179.976) was the fifth quickest. Rounding out the top-ten quickest during practice were Jason Leffler (179.964 mph) who was sixth quickest, James Buescher (179.736) seventh, Brad Keselowski (179.372) eighth and rookie contenders, Cale Gale (179.295) and John King (179.265) posting the ninth and tenth quickest lap speeds respectively.
