(January 23, 2012) – Ansell Protective Products Inc., a leading global manufacturer of industrial protective solutions, is proud to celebrate a long-standing history of providing protective gloves and safety products to Toyota plants across North America. Recently, through a partnership with ThorSport Racing, the longest-tenured NASCAR Camping World Trucks (NCWTS) team, they announced a partnership with TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). The partnership supports the No. 44 Ansell / Menards Toyota Camry, driven by nine-time ARCA Racing Series Champion Frank Kimmel.

“Since Toyota opened their first plant in North America, Ansell was there, protecting their employees with Ansell gloves. As a company, we’re proud to have such a strong relationship of protection and safety with such an esteemed organization both inside and outside of motorsports,” said Steve York, Director of Channel and Vertical Development at Ansell. “We’re encouraged that while Toyota keeps Frank Kimmel safe while driving upwards of 190mph on the racetrack, we’re also keeping Toyota’s associates safe as they enter the workplace to provide for their families.”

ThorSport Racing

ThorSport Racing currently operates three NCWTS teams – the No. 13 of Johnny Sauter; the No. 88 of Matt Crafton; and the No. 98 of Dakoda Armstrong. The organization will also field the No. 44 Ansell/Menards Toyota Camry during the 2012 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. Frank Kimmel, who leads the Series in Championship wins with a record nine season trophies, will attempt yet another record-breaking feat with a tenth championship run in 2012.

“I couldn’t be happier with the change to Toyota Camrys for my No. 44 Ansell/Menards team,” said Frank Kimmel. “With the pre-existing relationship between Ansell and Toyota, it seems to marry the sport and the manufacturing world perfectly. Ansell has such a proud tradition of safety and messaging in safety awareness – and we’re hoping to build on that success this year, both on and off the racetrack. We’re also hoping to visit several Toyota locations to help celebrate that strong partnership of protection onsite – by meeting the employees and staff on the front lines.”

“ThorSport Racing is a first-class organization and a championship-caliber race team, as well as one of the most respected teams in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Lee White, president and general manager of TRD, U.S.A.(Toyota Racing Development). “We look forward to working together with the entire ThorSport race team and are confident that it will raise the level of our entire Toyota racing program.”

“We’re always on the forefront of competition in whatever series we are competing in,” said Matt LaNeve, Vice President of Motorsports Partnerships for ThorSport Racing. “We’re looking forward to forging ahead with Toyota in the competition arena in 2012. Toyota and Ansell have a strong industry bond in the industrial solutions arena, and we hope to celebrate that through Frank Kimmel, the No. 44 team, and awareness campaigns throughout the motorsports community on how Ansell engages a reputation of protecting workers in many different arenas – from first responders to the military to auto workers.”

Pena, an 18-year old Winchester, VA native will enter his 3rd season on the K & N Pro Series East in 2012, his first two were as part of the NASCAR Diversity Program. Pena made the racing world take notice in his NASCAR debut at the Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale Speedway in 2010 when he beat Sprint Cup veteran Joey Logano for the pole award and finished 2nd in the event – his first time in a K & N Pro Series car. Last season, in just 12 races, he scored three wins, seven top-10 finishes and finished 5th in the series point standings.

“I am so excited for this opportunity,” stated Pena, a current Radford University freshman. “I couldn’t be more thankful to Shige and the best group of guys behind me such as Matt Goslant and Andy Santerre. We all work together very well and with them behind me, I know we will definitely be one of the teams to beat this year.”

Pena will be driving for Hattori Racing Enterprises. Formed in 2005, this will be the first year they have competed full-time on a NASCAR touring series. Owner, Shigeaki Hattori is a Championship-winning former racer. He earned the Formula Toyota title in 1994 and competed in the Indy Racing League’s Indy Lights and IndyCar Series. He also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. If you hire the right people with knowledge and experience, success will follow,” explains Hattori.

Setting the foundation for Hattori Racing Enterprises are four-time NASCAR K & N Pro Series Champion Andy Santerre, who will manage the race team and Championship-winning Crew Chief, Matt Goslant. Goslant and Pena were a team last season where Pena won three of 12 races, scored seven top-10 finishes and finished 5th in the series point standings.

“I am excited to be working with Sergio again this season,” Said Northfield, VT native, Goslant. “He has the talent to be a champion and we are a good team together. We communicate well and he trusts me to put the car under him. He gives me 100% and I could not ask for anything more in a driver.”

HRE will field Toyota Camry’s with manufacturer backing from Toyota Racing Development . “We are thrilled to have Toyota on board,” stated Hattori, who has had a long-standing relationship with the brand. “Toyota cars won every race in the series last year and I don’t expect this season to be any different.”

HRE is located in a state-of-the-art building owned by Germain Racing in Mooresville, NC and was designed by Hattori so he could continue to enjoy American stock car racing while developing young, talented drivers.

(November 29, 2011) - ThorSport Racing, the longest-tenured NASCAR Camping World Trucks (NCWTS) team with entries since 1996, announced today their 2012 expansion plans – to include a partnership with TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). After a successful 2011 season in the NCWTS, with three wins and four poles between two veteran drivers – Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton – and debut of rookie Dakoda Armstrong; the organization is hiring in its state of the art facility in Sandusky, Ohio for the No. 44 ARCA Racing Series team of Frank Kimmel.

“We’d like to thank everyone at Chevrolet for all the support over the last 16 years,” said Matt LaNeve, vice president of motorsports partnerships for ThorSport Racing. “ThorSport Racing, along with dedicated owners Duke and Rhonda Thorson, have a long-standing history and commitment to conservative, steady growth within NASCAR. Toyota’s business and competitive philosophies are in line with our 2012 goals for both Frank Kimmel, as he pursues his 10th ARCA Racing Series Championship; and our NCWTS teams of the 13, 88 and 98, as we further look to increase competition. We are aggressively chasing not only wins in our two respective series, but championship trophies for our drivers and sponsors.”

ThorSport Racing currently operates three NCWTS teams – the No. 13 of Johnny Sauter; the No. 88 of Matt Crafton; and the No. 98 of Dakoda Armstrong. The organization will also field the No. 44 Ansell / Menards Toyota Camry during the 2012 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season. The No. 13 Safe Auto / Curb Records entry finished second in driver championship points in 2011, matching the organization’s highest previous finish by the No. 88 Menards entry and Matt Crafton in 2009 – narrowly missing the championship by six points but capping the year off with a win at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 18th; adding to driver Sauter’s win list, shared with a trophy clock at Martinsville earlier in the year. The No. 88 Menards entry, piloted by Matt Crafton, finished 8th in overall driver championship points, earned two poles and wheeled into Victory Lane at Iowa Speedway during the 2011 season.

“ThorSport Racing is a first-class organization and a championship-caliber race team, as well as one of the most respected teams in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Lee White, president and general manager of TRD, U.S.A.(Toyota Racing Development). “We look forward to working together with the entire ThorSport race team and are confident that it will raise the level of our entire Toyota Tundra racing program.”

“We’re always on the forefront of competition in whatever series we are competing in,” said David Pepper, Director of Competition and Team Manager for ThorSport Racing. “We’re looking forward to forging ahead with Toyota in the competition arena in 2012. We’re actively hiring top talent to our existing crew members on our championship-caliber teams. We’re encouraged, during a down economy in both the country and in racing, to be hiring and adding jobs back into our industry.”

ABOUT THORSPORT RACING

(September 30, 2011) — Max Gresham clinched his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) driver’s championship after finishing third in Friday’s race at Delaware’s Dover International Speedway.

Gresham, a Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) development driver, had two wins and 11 top-10 finishes in 12 races this season. The 18-year-old Griffin, Ga.-native posted victories at Georgia’s Gresham Motorsports Park (June 11) and at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (July 15). Along with his two wins, Gresham finished second once and was third on three occasions.

Gresham’s title also marked the second owner’s championship for JGR in the series. “I can’t explain how I feel right now,” said Gresham, after the season finale. “I can’t thank these Joe Gibbs Racing guys enough. They put an awesome car underneath me today and they’ve put an awesome car underneath me all year.”

With Darrell Wallace Jr.’s win at Dover, Toyota drivers have visited victory lane in all 12 NKNPSE races this season. Camry drivers recording those 11 wins include Brett Moffitt (three), Sergio Pena (three), Wallace (three), Gresham (two) and Matt DiBenedetto (one).

It marks the fifth NASCAR regional series driver’s title for a Toyota driver. Along with Gresham’s title, Ryan Truex earned two NKNPSE driver’s titles in 2009 and 2010, and Eric Holmes captured the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West (NKNPSW) championship in 2008 and 2010.

“We have always maintained that any of our success in NASCAR is a direct result of the hard work by our teams and drivers,” said Lee White, president of TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “This season of competition in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East has demonstrated that all our Toyota teams have worked very hard to earn so many wins in what has become a very competitive series. We’re very proud of Max Gresham’s championship and
are proud to have him and Joe Gibbs Racing as part of the Toyota program.”

Toyota drivers have previously captured four driver’s championships in two of NASCAR’s premier series — Todd Bodine (2006 and 2010) and Johnny Benson (2008) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), and Kyle Busch (2009) in the Nationwide Series. This year, Busch and fellow Camry driver Denny Hamlin are currently competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase championship playoff, while Timothy Peters is currently
fourth in the NCWTS standings — 25 points out of first-place with six races remaining.

5-Hour Energy Team News and Notes

This Week’s 5 Hour Energy Toyota … Steve Wallace will pilot Rusty Wallace Racing chassis RWR-064 in Saturday afternoon’s OneMain Financial 200. Built new for the 2011 season, this Toyota Camry debuted at Texas Motor Speedway in May, where Wallace finished 17th. The Greensboro, N.C. native has since used this car to record finishes of 16th at Dover International Speedway in May, 21st and 11th, respectively, at Kentucky Speedway Nashville Superspeedway in July. In its last two outings, this chassis finished eighth at Iowa Speedway in August, and 13th at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Through 28 Races … With 28 races of the 2011 season in the record books, Wallace has accumulated two top-five, five top 10 and 14 top-15 finishes, an average starting position of 13.3 and an average finish of 15.8. Wallace has completed 98 percent of the laps contested (5,095 of 5,197) thus far.

Get to the Points … Wallace continues to maintain the eighth position in the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver point standings. With six races remaining in the 2011 season, Wallace trails seventh-place driver Kenny Wallace by 22 markers, and holds a 13-point cushion over ninth-place contender Brian Scott.

Testing, Testing … The No. 66 team spent Monday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Toyota Racing Development’s Salisbury, N.C. engineering center, testing new parts and pieces on their simulators and compliance rigs.

Wallace at Dover … In 11 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at Dover International Speedway, Wallace has recorded four top-15 finishes. His best finish at the one-mile oval is 11th, where he finished in May 2008.

Loop Data Says … Wallace’s 177 green-flag passes rank him eighth-best among the 82 drivers who have competed at the “Monster Mile” over the last six years. His 973 laps spent racing inside the top 15 rank him 12th-best among 54 drivers that qualified under the same criteria.

Welcome Aboard … 5-Hour Energy Racing welcomes Giant as a partner for this weekend’s race at Dover International Speedway. Giant branding will adorn the TV panel of Wallace’s No. 66 Toyota in Saturday afternoon’s race.

Last Time Out … Wallace was plagued with handling issues for most of the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway when the Nationwide Series last competed two weeks ago, but his Doug Randolph-led 5-Hour Energy team’s never-quit attitude afforded the 24-year-old driver an 18th-place finish.

Rusty Wallace Racing at Dover … Rusty Wallace Racing has earned five top-five and eight top-10 finishes in 31 combined starts at Dover International Speedway. Rusty Wallace Racing entries have led 58 laps of competition and have completed 5,808 of the 6,255 (92.9 percent) laps contested in those events.

Rusty Wallace Racing in 2011 … With 28 of 34 races completed thus far in the 2011 season, Rusty Wallace Racing’s three NASCAR Nationwide Series entries have recorded a combined three top-five, 12 top 10 and 29 top-15 finishes. Rusty Wallace Racing Toyotas have completed 11,227 of 11,619 laps attempted, and have been atop the leaderboard for 19 laps with drivers Michael Annett, Jason Bowles, David Reutimann and Steve Wallace.

The Battle For Best in Class … Rusty Wallace Racing’s 14th-place position in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings is second-best among full-time, non-cup affiliated teams. Wallace’s No. 66 entry trails RAB Racing, currently ranked 13th, by 22 points.

Fans are encouraged to log onto NASCAR.com to vote for their favorite driver from the series once per day until voting ends on Thursday, November 17.

“I always look forward to racing at Dover. It’s an extremely fast track, it feels like you’re literally flying off into the corners. It’s an extremely narrow track, and you get a little bit of tunnel vision as the race goes on. We’ve ran well at Dover, but don’t have the finishes to really show for it, but we’ll try to get that fixed this weekend.” – Steve Wallace on racing at Dover International Speedway

Under the tent there will be a Lexan car that UNOH students built showing the inner workings of a modified car, as well as a racing simulator. Interested students can ask questions, talk to admission representatives, pick up University literature, and even apply to UNOH on site.

(Dec. 10, 2010) – Camry driver Eric Holmes won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West (NKNPSW) championship with a 16th-place finish in the recent race at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR), to help Toyota sweep the NASCAR regional series titles in 2010. Earlier this year, Ryan Truex was crowned the champion of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE).

Holmes won five of 12 events during the season, including victories at Phoenix International Raceway, Oregon’s Douglas County Speedway, Montana Raceway Park, Colorado National Speedway and California’s All-American Speedway, to win the championship by 124 points over second-place David Mayhew.

“I’m just so proud to be part of this series and it’s special to win a third championship,” said Holmes. “I love the history of the West Series and remember watching races as a kid. It means a lot to be associated with these great drivers.”

Driving the Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) No. 20 Camry, Holmes recorded eight top-five finishes and 10 top-10 results in 2010 to earn his third series title. The 36-year-old Escalon, Calif.-native previously won NKNPSW championships in 2006 and 2008.

Holmes joins two-time defending NKNPSE champion Truex to become the first Camry drivers to sweep the NASCAR regional series titles in the same season since the manufacturer joined each series in 2007.

Truex had two wins and nine top-10 finishes in 10 NKNPSE races. The 18-year-old Mayetta, N.J.-native posted both of his victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the Michael Waltrip Racing No. 00 Camry en route to his title.

“Both Eric and Ryan have demonstrated the ability to run consistently at the front of the field, competing for race wins and championships,” said Lee White, president of TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development. “NASCAR’s regional series provide a great opportunity for drivers of all ages and experience. On behalf of everyone at Toyota, I would like to congratulate both Eric and Ryan for their outstanding championship seasons.”

The duo has combined for all four of Toyota’s regional series championships.

A pair of current Toyota drivers in the upper levels of NASCAR competition previously won regional series championships. Brendan Gaughan, who competed for Rusty Wallace Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) in 2010, won the NKNPSW title in 2000 and 2001. Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) driver Joey Logano was the 2007 NKNPSE champion.

(November 12, 2010) — Todd Bodine won his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver’s championship when he registered a 12th-place finish in Friday night’s race at Phoenix International Raceway.

The finish enabled Bodine to take a lead of 202 points over second-place Aric Almirola in the point standings — and 195 points being the maximum number available in next weekend’s series season- finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Bodine, driver of the Germain Racing No. 30 Tundra, won Toyota’s first driver’s championship in NASCAR’s three premier series with his NCWTS title in 2006.

“During the past five years, we have been one of the most consistent teams in the Camping World Truck Series,” says Bodine. “I can’t thank the guys on this Germain Racing team enough for all their hard work over the years, both at the track and in the shop. We’ve had some ups and downs since our 2006 championship, but this one is extra special to share with the Germain family, the Hillman family (crew chief Mike Hillman Jr. and general manager Mike Hillman) and all the sponsors who have supported us throughout the year.”

En route to his 2010 championship, Bodine won four races at Darlington Raceway, Kentucky Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway and Texas Motor Speedway. In addition, the 46-year-old driver recorded 16 top-five finishes and 19 top-10 results in 24 races. The Chemung, N.Y.-native has also led 461 laps and he clinched the championship after 24 of 25 races this year.

“Since our first year competing in the upper levels of NASCAR in 2004, Todd and the Germain family have been an integral part of the Toyota program,” says Lee White, president of TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “They have consistently competed for race wins and championships, and Todd and the Germains have been great ambassadors for Toyota both on and off the track. On behalf of all our associates at Toyota and TRD, I would like to congratulate Todd and the entire No. 30 Tundra team for another remarkable season.”

This marks the fourth NASCAR driver’s championship for Toyota since the manufacturer entered the sport in 2004. In addition to Bodine’s two titles, Johnny Benson won the NCWTS crown in 2008 and Kyle Busch won the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) championship.

This year, Tundra drivers have won 14 of 24 races. In addition to Bodine’s four wins, Kyle Busch registered victories at Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and Texas Motor Speedway. Almirola won twice (Dover International Speedway and Michigan International Speedway) and Timothy Peters captured the checkered flag in the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

Texas Motor Speedway, it enabled Toyota to clinch its fifth consecutive NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series (NCWTS) manufacturer’s championship.

Toyota has won the NCWTS manufacturer’s championship each year since 2006, along with
a pair of driver’s titles for Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008). Bodine, who currently
leads the NCWTS standings by 230 points, is seeking to capture Toyota’s third series driver’s
title.

Overall, this is the eighth time Toyota has earned a NASCAR manufacturer’s title since the
start of the 2004 season. Toyota recently also captured its third consecutive NASCAR
Nationwide Series manufacturer’s crown.

The performance of five full-time teams fielding Tundras — Billy Ballew Motorsports, Germain
Racing, Kyle Busch Motorsports, Randy Moss Motorsports and Red Horse Racing — all
contributed to the NCWTS manufacturer’s title. In addition, Stringer Motorsports ran a partial
season utilizing Tundras in 2010. This season, Tundra drivers have combined for 14 wins, 10
poles, 54 top-five results and 111 top-10 finishes with two races remaining on the schedule.

“To earn a fifth consecutive manufacturer’s championship is an accomplishment we are very
proud of, and is a testament to the commitment Toyota has — now and in the future — to the
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and to our race teams participating in the series,” said
Ed Laukes, Toyota’s corporate motorsports marketing manager. “We have been fortunate to
partner ourselves with championship-caliber teams and exceptional drivers. Our Tundra teams
continue to prove their excellence on the track.”

Series points leader Bodine (four wins), Busch (seven wins) and Aric Almirola (two wins)
have all won multiple races for Toyota this season. In addition, Timothy Peters earned his
second career victory in a Tundra at Daytona to kick off the 2010 season.

“It’s an honor to be associated with Toyota and to be a part of five straight manufacturer’s
championships,” says Bodine. “Over the last seven years, Toyota and Germain Racing have
formed a great partnership and we constantly work together to improve our on-track
performance each and every year.”

A total of 31 different drivers have participated in the Camping World Truck Series in a
Tundra this year, including five — Almirola, Bodine, Justin Lofton, Peters and Mike Skinner –
who have competed in all 23 events driving Toyotas. Skinner has raced a Tundra in every
NCWTS race since Toyota joined the series in 2004 — a total of 173 starts.
Since joining NCWTS competition in 2004, Toyota has won 79 races and captured 78 poles
in 173 races.

(September 24, 2010) – Ryan Truex clinched his second consecutive NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) driver’s championship when he took the green flag Friday at Delaware’s Dover International Speedway and finished third. Truex had two wins and nine top-10 finishes in 10 races in 2010. The 18-year-old Mayetta, N.J.-native posted both of his victories at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, on June 25 and Sept. 17, and needed only to start Friday’s race in the No. 00 NAPA Camry to secure the title. Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) also won its second owner’s championship in the series.

“It was a great year and everyone worked hard and gave me awesome race cars every week,” said Truex. “We were always in contention for wins and were consistent and that is what it takes to win championships. I’m proud of my guys and everyone at MWR and very thankful.”

Truex is the younger brother of two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) champion and current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) driver Martin Truex Jr. The elder Truex, in his first year driving the MWR No. 56 NAPA Camry, recorded his only career NSCS victory at Dover in 2007, and his first NSCS pole with the team at the Delaware track earlier this season.
“I’m really proud of Ryan for what he’s done,” said Truex Jr. “It has been really neat to watch, and brings me back to the old days when I was coming up through the ranks. He’s done an excellent job. Everything he’s gotten in for the first time, he just goes out there and does it.”

It marks the third NASCAR regional series driver’s title for a Toyota driver. Along with Truex’s two NKNPSE driver’s titles, Eric Holmes captured the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West (NKNPSW) championship in 2008. This season, Holmes currently holds a 141-point lead in the NKNPSW standings with two races remaining.

“We have always maintained that any of our success in NASCAR is a direct result of the hard work by our teams and drivers,” said Lee White, president of TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “As his two championships demonstrate, Ryan is an outstanding talent with a bright future in NASCAR, and we are proud to have him and Michael Waltrip Racing associated with our Toyota program.”

Toyota drivers have previously captured three championships in two of NASCAR’s premier series — Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), and Kyle Busch (2009) in the Nationwide Series.

Busch and fellow Camry driver Denny Hamlin are currently competing in the NSCS Chase for the Sprint Cup championship playoff, while Bodine leads the NCWTS standings by 257 points with five races remaining this year.

“Key KBM Personnel Combined for 16 Wins in 25 Races in 2009 Camping World Truck Series”

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Jan. 15, 2009) – Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) officials announced Friday that NASCAR veterans Eric Phillips and Dan Stillman will serve as crew chiefs for KBM’s two entries in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Phillips will head up the No. 18 Toyota Tundra, which will be driven by team owner Kyle Busch and Brian Ickler (pronounced “IKE-ler”). Busch will pilot the No. 18 Toyota whenever the Camping World Truck Series runs in companion with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, while Ickler will drive in the non-companion events.

Stillman will serve as crew chief on the No. 56 Toyota Tundra for KBM, which will be driven full-time by 20-year-old Tayler Malsam.

“I don’t think it’s any secret how badly I want to win races,” Busch said. “We want to create a culture of winning at Kyle Busch Motorsports and the way you do that is to hire people who know how to win and how to build winning teams. Eric and Dan both came highly recommended and with impressive resumes. I look forward to working with them to get KBM off to a great start in our first year in the Camping World Truck Series.”

To say that KBM has assembled an all-star cast for its inaugural season might be a bit of an understatement when you consider that Busch, Phillips and KBM director of competition Rick Ren combined to win 16 of the 25 Camping World Truck Series races in 2009 when they were with other teams. Busch found victory lane seven times as a driver, Phillips was on top of the pit box for three wins with driver Mike Skinner, and Ren served as crew chief for Ron Hornaday’s six victories and his 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship.

The 2009 season also saw Busch, Ickler, Malsam, Ren, Phillips and Stillman combine for two championships, 34 wins, 140 top-10 finishes and 23 poles in their respective efforts in NASCAR’s top-three divisions and ARCA competition. In addition to Ren’s Truck Series championship, Busch won the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series title driving for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Phillips comes to KBM after stints at Morgan Dollar Motorsports and Randy Moss Motorsports, where he had plenty of success with Skinner and veteran driver Dennis Setzer in the Camping World Truck Series. In 2005, Phillips and Setzer combined for four wins and a second-place finish in the standings while 2009 saw Phillips guide Skinner to a third-place result in the championship.

“I’ve always enjoyed working in the Camping World Truck Series and this is a great opportunity to work with KBM, as well as everyone at Toyota and Toyota Racing Development (TRD),” said Phillips. “I’m looking forward to working with Kyle and Brian on the No. 18, but also partnering with Tayler and Dan to make sure that both KBM Toyota Tundras have a shot a winning each time we go to the racetrack.”

Stillman moves to KBM after one year as crew chief for Carl Edwards’ Roush Fenway Racing entry in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Edwards and Stillman teamed up for five wins and a second-place finish in the Nationwide Series point standings – just one spot behind 2009 champion Busch.

“After competing against Kyle all of last year in the Nationwide Series championship, I know how important winning is to him,” said Stillman, who has also had stints Dale Earnhardt Inc., and Kevin Harvick Inc. “This is a great opportunity to work with Tayler and the No. 56 Toyota team and also share information with the guys on the No. 18 Tundra. We’ve got all the pieces in place and a lot of support from Toyota and TRD and that’s all you can ask for as a crew chief.”

(November 20, 2009) — When the green flag waves to start Friday night’s
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, it will mark
the 150th race for Toyota in the series since the beginning of the 2004 season.

“Reaching our 150th start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is a great moment for
Toyota and the Tundra,” said Ed Laukes, corporate manager of motorsports operations, Toyota Motor
Sales, U.S.A. “We’ve been able to align ourselves with some extremely talented drivers like Mike
Skinner, who has made all 150 starts in a Tundra, and Todd Bodine who was our inaugural driver’s
champion in the series. What we’ve accomplished during our first 150 races is a result of the
dedication of all the teams and drivers that have campaigned Tundras over the past six seasons, as
well as the hard work of everyone at TRD, U.S.A.”

During the past six years, Tundra drivers have recorded 65 victories and captured 68 pole
positions, and have helped Toyota win four consecutive Camping World Truck Series manufacturer’s
championships (2006 to 2009).

In 149 races, 17 teams and 75 drivers have combined to make a total of 1,421 NCWTS starts.
Mike Skinner is the only driver who has started all 149 races. In addition to Skinner, just two other
drivers have been a part of all four manufacturer’s titles — Bodine (133 starts) and Johnny Benson
(121 starts). Bodine and Benson have both been driving Tundras since 2004, although Benson only
ran a partial NCTWS schedule this season.

“When I heard that Toyota was entertaining getting into NASCAR back in 2003, and they were going
to do it the first couple years through the Truck Series — I really missed the trucks and wanted to get back
into the series,” said Skinner, driver of the Randy Moss Motorsports No. 5 Exide Toyota Tundra. “We
partnered up with Toyota and it’s just been a fantastic venture ever since. We’ve become friends as well
as business partners. It’s been an honor to drive for Toyota and represent them — it’s just been really,
really great. Toyota has been very supportive of me so when we have good years — like being able to
help them get four straight manufacturer’s championships — it makes it feel like its all worth it.”

Tundra drivers Skinner and Bodine have both been a part of all four of Toyota’s NCWTS
manufacturer’s championships and have not missed a series race since the beginning of the 2006
season. In addition to Bodine winning the driver’s title in 2006, Benson also captured the driver’s
crown in 2008 in a Toyota.

Todd Bodine

“It was special to be the first champion and it was a privilege for me knowing Toyota’s history in
motorsports — not just NASCAR — but the championships that they have won in other forms of
motorsports,” said Bodine, driver of the Germain Racing No. 30 Copart Toyota Tundra. “To be able to be
the first champion in the upper levels of NASCAR competition was very special. We are all also very
proud of what we accomplished as a group for Toyota — not only the four straight manufacturer’s
championships — but also successfully helping Toyota move into the Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup
Series.”

Skinner leads all Toyota drivers with 35 pole positions, including a series-record 11 in 2007, in his
149 starts in a Tundra. The Susanville, Calif.-native has also recorded 12 victories in a Tundra.
Bodine, who has 133 starts in a Tundra, has recorded 17 victories for Toyota in the Camping
World Truck Series, the most of any Tundra driver. He also has started from the pole five times.

(Toyota Racing Development) announced today that beginning with the 2010 season, RWR will field Toyota Camrys in its quest for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship.

The team currently plans to enter the No. 66 and No. 62 Toyota Camrys in the 2010 Nationwide Series, piloted by Steve Wallace and Brendan Gaughan, respectively.

Additionally, a separate agreement with RWR team owner, Rusty Wallace, will enable the racing legend, television analyst, and Toyota dealer to represent the Toyota brand on a national basis.

Said Rusty Wallace, “I’m very proud to have the opportunity for the team and I to represent the Toyota brand. Our team’s decision on manufacturers involved input from a lot of people within the organization. We decided that at the end of the day, our goal as a race team is simple: to win races and championships. Thus, we all had to take a long look at which manufacturer partner could best help us reach that goal.

“I’m a Toyota dealer already, so I knew the high levels of support and dedication they provide to their partners. After touring the TRD facility in North Carolina, I was completely convinced. Toyota is the manufacturer to beat in the Nationwide Series right now and after seeing the level of engineering support they provide their teams, I understand why; their level of support is second to none. We’re really excited about the opportunity to partner with Toyota for 2010 and beyond.”

Toyota will enter the 2010 season looking for its new RWR partnership to aid in securing the brand’s third consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series Manufacturers’ Championship.

“We are looking forward to our partnership and working together with Rusty Wallace Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series,” said Lee White, President and General Manager, TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development). “As a former Cup Series champion who is now a team owner, Rusty knows what is required — in terms of equipment and people — to win races and compete for championships. The team is a first-class organization and we are proud that they will be a part of the Toyota Camry roster.”

RWR’s move to Toyota follows a two-year campaign in which the team enjoyed manufacturer support from Chevrolet. Said Wallace, “Chevrolet has been a great partner for our team and on behalf of RWR, I’d like to thank Pat Suhy, Shane Martin and everyone at GM Racing for their dedication and support. They were a key in our team’s growth over the last two seasons.”

The first event for Rusty Wallace Racing’s new fleet of Toyota Camrys will be the February 13, 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

Kicking off at the start of the 2010 NASCAR season, TRD-supplied NASCAR engines will be filled with specially modified motor oil based on the same technology available to consumers in Mobil 1 Racing oils, which were unveiled in April. The TRD-specific motor oils will deliver outstanding power via unique low-friction synthetic lubricant technology combined with boosted levels of anti-wear additives to protect and extend the life of engine hardware.

Formally announced before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway, the collaboration will pair Mobil 1, the “Official Motor Oil of NASCAR,” with one of NASCAR’s top engine manufacturers. With this new partnership, ExxonMobil’s racing oil technology will now provide performance and protection for the TRD-supported Red Bull Racing and Michael Waltrip Racing NASCAR teams.

“We are excited to partner with such well known and respected racing technology like Mobil 1 motor oil,” said Lee White, president and general manager, TRD, U.S.A. Mobil 1 technology advisors, utilizing the resources of one of the world’s leading racing oil suppliers, will help ensure that our team’s engines are running at peak performance, ultimately helping us win more races.”

The racing oils designed for TRD represent the latest in synthetic racing oil technology and are intended to help deliver maximum horsepower over a wide range of race engine applications.

“Partnering with such expert engine builders like TRD gives us another excellent platform to fully demonstrate the technological benefits of our products,” said Kendall S. MacGibbon, sales director, Strategic Global Alliances, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties. “This agreement with TRD showcases the engine performance and protection that Mobil 1 racing oil technology delivers for NASCAR drivers and other competitive motorsports drivers.”

(October 31, 2009) – When Kyle Busch crossed the finish line first Saturday
at Talladega Superspeedway, it enabled Toyota to clinch its fourth consecutive NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) manufacturer’s championship.

Toyota has won the NCWTS manufacturer’s championship each year since 2006, along with
a pair of driver titles for Todd Bodine (2006) and Johnny Benson (2008). Overall, this is the sixth
time Toyota has earned a NASCAR manufacturer’s title since the start of the 2004 season.
Toyota recently also captured its second consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series
manufacturer’s crown.

The performance of seven full-time teams fielding nine Tundras — Billy Ballew Motorsports,
Germain Racing, HT Motorsports, Randy Moss Motorsports, Red Horse Racing, Wyler Racing
and Xpress Motorsports — all contributed to the NCWTS manufacturer’s title. In addition,
Premier Racing and Stringer Motorsports ran partial seasons with Tundras in 2009. Tundra
drivers have combined for 13 wins, eight poles, 58 top-five results and 118 top-10 finishes this
season with three races remaining on the schedule.

“The Camping World Truck Series is a great platform for Toyota to showcase its full-size
Tundra pickup truck, and four straight manufacturer’s championships in the series really
enhances that exposure,” said Ed Laukes, Toyota’s corporate motorsports marketing manager.
“We have always maintained that success in NASCAR is a product of the people involved, and
we have been fortunate to align ourselves with championship-caliber teams and exceptional
drivers. Our Tundra teams overcame many challenges in today’s harsh economic environment
to persevere and help us earn this title.”

Kyle Busch (six wins), Mike Skinner (three wins) and Todd Bodine (two wins) have all won
multiple races for Toyota this season. In addition, Brian Scott and Timothy Peters each earned
their first career victories in a Tundra in 2009.

“It is such an honor to have been associated with Toyota for all these years,” says Skinner,
who has raced a Tundra in every NCWTS race since Toyota joined the series in 2004. “We
knew that Toyota had the leadership to succeed in this form of racing, and four straight
manufacturer titles are the result. We are just fortunate to have contributed a bunch of points to
these past four championships and hope to continue that for years to come.”

A total of 25 different drivers have participated in the Camping World Truck Series in a
Tundra this year, including nine — T.J. Bell, Bodine, Stacy Compton, Terry Cook, Tayler Malsam,
Timothy Peters, Scott, Skinner and David Starr — who have competed in all 22 events for
Toyota.

Since joining NCWTS competition in 2004, Toyota has won 64 races and captured 68 poles
in 147 races.
