Newton, IA (August 4, 2012)- Coming off a 24th-place finish in the inaugural Indy 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Eric McClure headed to one of his favorite tracks on the circuit, Iowa Speedway, to compete in his first race at the 7/8-mile facility this season. McClure started Saturday night’s US Cellular 250 from the 33rd position and was in position to record a top-25 finish until a mechanical failure with 15 laps remaining caused the team to finish the 250-lap event as follows:
