The fans have spoken… This weekend, veteran driver Kenny Wallace will pilot the No. 09 “Thank You Fans” Toyota Camry in the Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Die-hard “Hermanator” fans supported him by pledging $20 to see their name on the RAB Racing machine. Fans will get up close and personal with the fan car tomorrow night as the Kenny Wallace Fan Club hosts an exclusive event at RAB Racing for the people who put their name on the car. Supporters will get to participate in a meet-and-greet with Wallace and see the newly-wrapped car! In addition to fan support, the University of Northwestern Ohio will be featured on the hood for the memorable event. For more information, please visit www.kennywallace.com
Time to “Dash 4 Cash”… Not only did Kenny Wallace post his first top five in three years in the Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway, but he qualified for the final Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash contest. This weekend, Wallace along with three other NNS drivers will compete for $100,000! The highest finisher in the Dollar General 300 Miles of Courage will win. Fans can play along at NASCAR.com.
Counting down… On Saturday, November 5th at Texas Motor Speedway, Kenny Wallace will make his 520th NASCAR Nationwide Series career-start. After the green flag flies in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge, Wallace will set the record for most NASCAR Nationwide Series starts by any driver. Wallace, who will make his 519th start this Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, will tie Jason Keller for most NNS starts and soon secure a lasting spot in Nationwide Series history. The two drivers have surprisingly similar NNS records, both with an average finishing position of 16.7.
Charlotte Details…
· Wallace competed in his first Nationwide Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27, 1989, where he took both the green and checked flags from the 12th position.
· Since 1989, Wallace has competed in 33 NNS events at Charlotte, accumulating seven top-10 finishes, with a career-best seventh place finish driving for his brother, Rusty Wallace, in 1991.
· In addition to Nationwide Series racing, Wallace has competed in 22 Sprint Cup Series events at the 1.5-mile quad-oval track.
· RAB Racing makes its sixth appearance at Charlotte Motor Speedway since first joining the Nationwide Series in 2008.

Support the Cause… October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Charlotte Motor Speedway is showing its support by dedicating Friday night’s race to the cause. A portion of the ticket sales will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Teams will have pink throughout the pits and even on the track! Fans can show their support by wearing pink to the racetrack.
