• Tony Stewart was the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race in the Feb. 28 Shelby American at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, leading twice for seven laps.

• Stewart, Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick are tied for the lead in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings entering the March 7 Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway.  Each driver has claimed the honor once.

• The record for most laps led in a 500-mile race at Atlanta is 308 by Cale Yarborough in the 1969 Kobalt Tools 500 (spring race).

• The record for most lead changes in a race at Atlanta is 44 in the 1982 Pep Boys Auto 500 (fall race).

• The record for most different leaders in a race at Atlanta is 17 in the 2000 Kobalt Tools 500 (spring race).
