(September, 2010) – Red Line Synthetic Oil Corp. is proud to announce its primary sponsorship agreement with driver Michael McDowell, 25, and the MacDonald Motorsports Dodge Charger for Friday night’s Virginia 529 College Savings 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Richmond International Raceway.

“It’s great to have Red Line come on as our primary sponsor for Richmond,” said McDowell, who has 54 Nationwide Series starts with a career-best finish of 6th. “We have been running Red Line Oil products in our #81 Dodge Challenger all year, so I can’t wait to drive this new Red Line Oil paint scheme under the lights Friday night.”

Friday’s race features NASCAR’s new Car of Tomorrow for the Nationwide Series, with fan-friendly body styles that more closely resemble today’s road cars. The new race cars also feature the safety developments found in the latest Sprint Cup cars of similar design.

<img src="http://www.catchfence.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/MM_Render_main.jpg" alt="No. 81 Red Line Synthetic Oil Corp. Dodge Challenger

Red Line Oil has worked with McDowell throughout his career, going back to his Formula Star Mazda Championship in 2004, as well as with his sports car activities with Finlay Motorsports.

“Michael has run well at Richmond in the past, so we are looking forward to a solid finish and hopefully even more,” said Cameron Evans, Red Line Oil’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “The team has been running our 30WT Race Oil in their Ernie Elliott-built engines all year with solid power and great wear. Helping this smaller team to compete with the Cup regulars at Richmond and possibly more often in the future is great for our company, our dealers, and the fans.”

McDowell’s career features success all over the racing map, including multiple starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, ChampCar, and Grand Am, plus IKF and WKA karting championships, and 2nd place in the ARCA Series in 2007. McDowell is a Glendale, AZ, native who now lives in the Charlotte-area with wife Jami and son Christopher.

Red Line Synthetic Oil Corp. manufactures more than 100 quality products for the automotive, racing, motorcycle, marine and industrial markets. Its complete line includes a wide variety of motor oils, gear oils, additives, and greases. (November 5, 2009) – Kevin Conway and ExtenZe Racing announced today that they will attempt to run all three NASCAR national series races – NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series (# 26 ExtenZe Chevrolet) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (# 71 ExtenZe Chevrolet) – at Phoenix International Raceway next weekend. The NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup cars will be available for photos on Saturday, November 7th at 7:45 a.m. CST on the frontstretch at Texas Motor Speedway.

Conway has never raced at Phoenix International Raceway, much less competed in NASCAR’s top three divisions in one weekend, but he is set to attempt to qualify for his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series debut at the one-mile oval. No driver in NASCAR history has ever attempted this feat.

“I’ve never been accused of doing things normally,” said Conway. “To make my Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series debut at a track that I have never even seen is pretty ambitious but I am excited to have this opportunity with ExtenZe. For ExtenZe Racing to pull this together in such a short amount of time is nothing short of a miracle. Everyone on this ExtenZe team is pumped to give it our best shot in Phoenix.”

ExtenZe will appear as Conway’s primary sponsor in all three races. Together they will attempt to compete in 850 miles of racing at Phoenix International Raceway.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 will be televised live on Friday, Nov. 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST on SPEED. The NASCAR Nationwide Series Able Body Labor 200 will follow on Saturday, Nov. 14 on ESPN2 at 4:00 EST with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rounding up the weekend with Sunday’s Checker O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 presented by Pennzoil on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m. EST on ABC.

About Kevin Conway

Conway, a Lynchburg, Va. native, has steadily moved up within the ranks of motorsports from a diverse and successful racing background. He first competed in AMA Motocross at only six years old. His racing career continued on to WKA go-karts, INEX Legend Cars, Super Late Models, ASA, USAC Midgets and Silver Crown, ARCA RE/MAX Series, and the NASCAR Grand National (Camping World) West Series. Conway is currently a NASCAR Nationwide Series regular and, now, is set to make his Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup Series debut.
