2014 NSCS Coke Zero 400 Starting Lineup

2014 NSCS Driver David Gilliland on track at Daytona Int'l Speedway in the No. 38 Loves Travel Stops Military Salute Ford Fusion - Photo Credit: Scott Halleran/Getty Images The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) was able to finish the first round of Coke Zero 400 qualifying, and was prepared for round two before rain returned to Daytona International Speedway early Friday evening. With the persistent rain, qualifying was concluded and resulted in David Gilliland, with a qualifying lap speed of 199.322mph, on the pole for Saturday night's race. This was Gilliland's first NSCS pole of the 2014 season, his third NSCS career pole and his second NSCS pole at Daytona International Speedway. Reed Sorenson will start on the outside pole to start second with a qualifying lap speed of 199.221mph, and he will be followed by Landon Cassill (199.194mph) starting third, Bobby Labonte (198.970) fourth and Jimmie Johnson (198.790) starts fifth.
