James Buescher crowned 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion
James Buescher has claimed his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championship. After a tight battle down to the very last race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Buescher narrowly edged out his closest competitors to be crowned the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion.
Buescher, who grew up in Plano, Texas, just 40 miles northeast of the Texas Motor Speedway, first got his start in racing when he was just 12 years old. Buescher proved that he was a championship-caliber driver right from the start of his career, racking up wins and championships in Bandolero and American Speed Association (ASA) competition. (June 16, 2013) – Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle powered his way through the field, took the lead and drove away en route to his second consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup win at Michigan International Speedway.
